• Irregular after pasting in the ID space

  When I copy text from Word or text editor in ID, there is the irregular spaces between sentences throughout the document of 200 pages.

  I am a newbie to ID, but I have tried many things to fix this... and still have the problem. Can someone please?

  Some of us older people who have grown up with typewriters have learned that you have to hit the return key (or worse... Press the carriage return lever... (GASP!) at the end of the line and it might be that the person who keyed this makes it rather than let the word do the automatic packing. How ever it like that, Joel is right what you need to remove.

  In other words, you can consider using find/replace. Enter ^ p in the Search field (this is the paragraph return code), place the cursor at the beginning of your text and click on the find button. When it finds the first paragraph back, decide if you want to keep it or not. If you want to remove it, hit either the Edit button, and then click the search button to move on to the next, or use Find/replace to change and find in one step.

  Without anything in the field , it will replace the return paragraph with nothing, that may or may not be what you want. If there is no space between the last character of the line and paragraph returns, you will probably get the last word in a line combined with the first word of the next line, and you really don't want to have to clean that up. Consider instead replacing paragraph returns with a space (by typing a space in the period field). This can give you some double spaces to clean afterwards, but you can fix that easily enough.

  At the top of the Find/replace window, you will see query:. If you click on the blue arrows to the right, you can select a number of GREPs. One of them is Multiple Space to a single space. If you choose, it will load a bunch of code in find and edit fields. If you click on replace all, it will find any instance of two spaces or more in a row and change their unique spaces within the selection, account, document or that you selected in the Research: field. If there is a reason, you sometimes need to stay two spaces or more, do not use any change. Instead, find employment, change, find next, replace/find, or combination whatever you are comfortable with. You can see that people who kick back at the end of each line using also two spaces after every sentence, which is also a typewriter convention we use longer in electronic composition. It is a good way to solve this problem too.

  Are also common of two returns to separate paragraphs, which should be made with the spacing of the paragraphs, but that's another story, then a step at a time.

• Remove the spaces of a variable

  When the user enters text in my "nameentry" and click on a button input text, the text you enter is saved in this variable: -.

  This variable is then sent to a server and set it as the name of the item, the user added via the http request, however, I would like to add in another variable string "enteredimagename", which will store the same text but will have spaces removed or all characters that would not be appropriate to a JPEG image.

  The idea of this is that the user adds a name of a part of their addition and eponymous is applied as long as the elements of the title and the name of the image file of points (with all spaces removed etc.) because all the images in my application are stored on a server and are dynamic so the click would look like:-

  enteredname = nameentry.text;

  enteredimagename = nameentry.text (with code to remove spaces for this channel or something)

  Can someone help me with this?

  I don't know which characters, you can use in the name of the file, but you can always limit to A - Z and a - z to be sure.

  The coil may not have gaps as it is used by some sort of contraption of system before my time to really understand and I said that it's just not having them.

  I think that concatenating your columns with NVL(col1,0) will be your only option. In addition, it didn't really the request that much more time.

• iPhone iOS 9.3.2. Microphone does not work in some applications.

  MIC on iPhone 5 has stopped working.  Software not hardware.  First noticed when the other party could not hear me on a phone call.  Incoming or outgoing calls - hear the other party, but they don't hear me.  Voice memo does not work... doesn't detect any sounds.  Voice memo and calls work when headset inserted.   HOWEVER, Siri and voice command work very well without a helmet.  Therefore Mic works = no material.

  I have reset all settings - off one - there is sufficient space free etc etc.  Wanted to ask this forum for ideas before the reset complete of your data.  I see that there are problems with the iOS updates.  Not sure on the timing of the question as the phone is used by my 12 year old son.

• Can I add a drop-down list for the bookmarks toolbar?

  I would like to have a series of categories of bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar. Let's say a button called "Household" could have a menu drop down menu links to my sites popular for "Home repair," 'Kitchen', 'Furniture finish', etc.

  And maybe another button may be labeled "Science" and its menu drop-down can contain links to 'Environment', 'Medicine', 'Space', 'Geology', etc.

  And to be really good, each subcategory could have subcategories beneath them.

  Create nested folders (folders in folders) on the bookmarks toolbar. You can also do the same thing in the Menu bookmark instead of bookmarks toolbar.

  1. Right-click on the bookmarks toolbar and choose 'new folder '; Name this folder cleaning
  2. Right-click on the case in the toolbar bookmarks for each subfolder you want under household and choose "new folder"; Name these folders (i.e., home repair, kitchen, furniture, etc.)
  3. Drag or create bookmarks in each of these appropriate subfolders to the name of the subfolder.

  Repeat the above for another folder/sub-sub-sub-folders (i.e., Science folder under folders, geology, environment, medicine, space, etc.).

  The '.' and ' *' work with a single call to RegExpr_FindPatternInText().

  If both are used together all characters are ignored between the three symbolic search words.

• El Capitan, not seeing WD My Book on WRT1900AC

  Hi all. I have an older MacBook Air of 1 year, running El Capitan (last updated) and a wireless connection via a new WRT1900AC without any problem.  I just bought a WD My Book 3 TB and reformatted it as HFS + (OS extended, Jounaled) and silos using Master Boot Record. My problem is that my MacBook Air does not see the My Book?  When I connect to Wifi Smart Linksys seems perfectly on the tab of external storage, proper display space used, etc.  Can someone tell me what I did wrong?  I already tried repartioning using the GUID, but same problem.

  After all the problems with loops reboot and restore your system etc, now the machine works fine.

  Change the way updates are checked, downloaded and installed.  Give you more control and do some updates (one or two) and then restart.  Repeat until you have completed the update process.

  Also be sure to keep everything up to date (hardware drivers from the hardware manufacturers - not just any integrated process, other software patches from other publishers, etc.) and to maintain a clean system (of malware/spyware and viruses and Trojans) with active scans/removal with software and casual.  Keep it defragmented and run an occasional CHKDSK.

  General maintenance basically - just and do not update your device drivers materials (of material non-Microsoft) Microsoft.

  If not - No.  There is nothing you can do to avoid possible future problems because your system is unique to you likely in several ways (hardware + software + layout of the use of space + devices, etc.)

• Win 7 Error Message 802400B installation failed KB3079757

  Hello

  I have a problem with the 802400B error that I receive with a vain attempt to install KB 3079757 via Windows Update. Now I can't get other updates - it simply repeat the download of updates, but never does. I had about 20 important updates - it installed about 5 and then hooked to it. I had just finished update of IE to V11 and worked well, then 3 updates were installed with the failure error message. After that, I got 2 others to install - they seemed to be already downloaded and just need to be installed. After that - neither works.

  Tried the tool update recovery/repair (?) - who also would not be finished. Then he went to its audit process was "fix" the problem but didn't finish.

  I am running Win 7 on a 64-bit computer. A lot of disk space, RAM etc.

  Download the updates manually and their installation and reboot then solve this? Or another idea?
