  On the client, data store space seems to take a while to catch up to the reality in my experience.  If you log on to the service console and make vdf - h, you will get an accurate picture.

Saturday.  The SOLUTION!   For another task, I installed the free Panda Cloud antivirus program last night.  Space on my netbook HP 1030NR solid state drive 16 GB a 15.5 filled with about 150 mgs free.  A tense, to say the least.  I downloaded and installed Panda Cloud antivirus free.  When the installation is finished and I went to check out the solid state drive, it read GB filled 10.3 and 5.6 GB of free space!  This information can help someone else.

My disk space decreases rapidly, and I think that its deleted files accumulate somewhere I used the disk clean up etc and spent days with running Disk Defragmenter. Rid of old programs.   Compress your files, your computer will slow down a lot. I recommend that you don't try this.

  Thank you for your message.  The best thing you can do at this stage is to begin to copy the data from your hard drive on your external hard drive.  You mentioned that you have a lot of photos and music.  These are two of the easiest to transfer items.  To do this, copy your complete record of the music and the image on the hard drive.  After you be sure that all your data has been copied, you can then delete the music and images of the hard drive which is full.  This should dissipate enough disk space for you to perform a defrag, etc.  Remember that when you delete these items, you will also have to empty the trash free up disk space.
