Special fonts in headlines

I use first Elements 10 on WIndows 7. I have some Hebrew OpenType Unicode fonts. They do not appear in the menu fonts, nor I can cut and paste text from another application. How to use the Hebrew characters in the titles?

Also, is it possible to use graphic elements in titles or credits?

When a font that is properly installed in the operating system, does not appear in the list, or will not copy and paste, it is almost always a fault with the particular font.

The Adobe programs are VERY sensitive to the fonts and Titler (in pre and PrPro) is probably the MOST sensitive. Everything MUST be perfect.

Based to help a user with some Chinese fonts, I would say you are looking for the Hebrew fonts identical or very similar to a major Foundry. This is what has worked for this user.

A review with Hebrew & Arabic fonts is their order of character. I don't know module titration, but in some programs Adobe, as an Illustrator, he must have the version of the program, which supports the order of Hebrew character or Arabic.

Now, one option would be to use the fonts in a program, which offers full support for the fonts you have, then Save_As in a graphic format, such as TIFF. As all the graphics in video must be rasterized at a certain point, when you do the rasterization is not so important. I would look at TIFF, TGA, BMP or PNG and JPEG, which compresses, and with the text, we don't want any unnecessary compression.

Good luck

  • Symbol slowly fade if you use special fonts?

    I have a very basic .swf with a text that I converted to symbols and dissipate entry/exit with a Tween. It works fine, until I was asked to use a special font (Frutiger) so, I now have the installed font. I created new symbols with Frutiger fonts, but instead of slowly fading now, the symbol of load very quickly. I can't understand how a progressive/slow in fade. This problem only occurs when I use the Frutiger. If I take Arial or some other basic fonts, I can get the symbol slowly fade in/out. Any suggestions?

  • Issue of special fonts

    I created a French title, which implies the use of ASCII codes to produce letters that have special characters, accents, etc. My question is if there is a way to preserve the fonts you are editing after creating these letters. Please take note of the accented letter 'e' in the following seven-second clip to see what I mean:

  • special fonts to the program

    Hello

    In my program, I using dymanic text with a font "Campfire". But, as regular users do not have this font they own pc. And they do not see my camp fire police...

    How can I make then users will see also campfire? Need to write a special code? (so it will be as user open my program and after that, it must download this font?) or how?

    Or maybe need to write a way to .ttf? and put this on the same file with the .swf .ttf? If so, how to write do?

    Thank you.

    You can either embed the fonts directly into your swf by embedding character file or the creation of a police force as an option in the library panel, or by incorporation of an external ttf file. For embedding of characters directly, click on "Embed characters" in the property inspector and select the characters you want to embed. Or you can create a font library resource by clicking the button options in the library panel and selecting "New police" and then in the 'Symbol of police properties' dialog box tick "Export for ActionScript" and choose a class name say "foo" for example, then use the following code to embed this font foo :

    var fooFont:foo = new foo();

    var mytxt:TextField = this ["txt"]; txt on stage

    var format: TextFormat = new TextFormat();

    format.font = fooFont.fontName;

    format. Color = 0xFF0000;

    format. Size = 16;

    mytxt.embedFonts = true;

    mytxt.autoSize = TextFieldAutoSize.LEFT;

    mytxt.antiAliasType = AntiAliasType.ADVANCED;

    mytxt.defaultTextFormat = format;

    myTxt.Text = "Hello World!";

    The other option is using this notation in your code [Embed (source =' POLICE.)] (TTF', fontName = "Police", mimeType = "application/x-polices-truetype")]. You can learn more about this option in http://mx.coldstorageonline.com/index.php?bid=48

  • problems with special fonts

    I was wondering the best way to deal with the non-standard fonts used in a project CVI?  I have an application that uses the "SWAstro" font for the up and down arrows as indicators in a table of the CVI.  When you run the executable file on a computer that has installed the CVI, the arrows appear very well.  On computers that don't have the CVI run time engine installed, the arrows simply show upward in the form of vertical bars.

    Is it possible to have my program to install a font, if it is needed?  I'm better off everything including the font with the executable file and having the user install themselves separately?  I tried to find a more generalized windows font that a up and down arrows, but the ones I found (like Wingdings 3) doesn't seem to be available in CVI.

    Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hello

    You may not be able to set the font as "Wingdings 3' of the IUR Editor, but it is possible from the code.

    Here's a simple example. It defines the label for a control on the symbol corresponding to the key 'a' on the keyboard.

    You just have to find the right key for the symbol you want.

    SetCtrlAttribute (NLP, ctrl, ATTR_LABEL_FONT, "wingdings 3");

    SetCtrlAttribute (NLP, ctrl, ATTR_LABEL_TEXT, ' a');

  • phags-pa fonts

    I need a special font for a project of mine - I downloaded the BabelStone police and he shows all the signs in the font tool... but I can't use it...

    Suggestions - cause it makes me a little nuts!

    To insert a script like Phags Pa, you must use the character Viewer (Ediit > Emoji and symbols).  Go to the gear wheel at the top left and select Customize and adds Unicode to the list.  Inside the Unicode, you will find Phags Pa from A840.  Double click or drag and drop at the entrance.

    If you have any problems, let us know what application you are using, and what exactly does not work.

  • Import fonts in FrameMaker

    We have problems with the fonts that are not available in FrameMaker, although we have them installed in the Windows fonts folder.

    You don't need to "import" fonts in FrameMaker. FrameMaker can access the fonts in the windows fonts folder.

    Did you reboot FrameMaker after installing fonts?

    Fonts appear in other windows as Microsoft Word software?

    What type of font is (e.g., TrueType, OpenType, Type1)?. Are the fonts somehow 'special '? Are they standard fonts to a font library or a special font (self-created)?

    In addition, you can check the name of the font. The font name specified in the police could be a completely different than the name of the font file. In addition, some fonts appear "elsewhere" in the menu font. As we say that Helvetica Neue may seem not under H but maybe under L as "Linotype Helvetica Neue" (or other, for example).

    Furthermore, any kind of additional information such as the version of Windows and FrameMaker version could be useful as well.

    What version of InDesign? What computer platform?

    Any version of InDesign is going to read fonts if you store the instead used on your operating system for the storage of fonts. With one exception, InDesign does not store fonts, it uses the fonts similarly like all other Adobe applications.

    If you were on a version of Mac OS X, your [file] > library > fonts would be a place. (Not in the users folder). Another would be [computer] > library > fonts. The first is for your user only. The second for all users on the computer.

    InDesign has a special fonts in the Applications folder in case you have a font of eccentric who does not work in a system location.

    You can use other fonts outside of typekit?

    I would like to be able to download a special font in one of my 'libraries', so I can use it with Adobe comp. Y there, he said that it is not available. Any help on this?

    Currently only Typekit fonts can be used in Comp CC. It would make a good feature request.

  • How can I specify what font I want to use, use a font of the web that I got from Typekit?

    Hello, I recently just got how integrate web fonts - Tykepit (fonts obtained while creating an Adobe Typekit kit, not through the Adobe Edge Web Fonts). I would like to know how I can use special fonts in a family of fonts in specific pieces of text. I'm not all good at CSS and coding, so some clarifying would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    You can apply the font of the text panel, or select the text itself and apply the police.

  • Captivate fonts

    I am using Captivate 5 Windows.

    Learners must have the font on their computer which are used in the Captivate SWF? If I use a special font for the headers, learners will have problems to view fonts correctly?

    the police is embedded in the swf file.  they won't need something special to show any non-standard characters that you use.

  • Not displaying not font

    Hi, I am developing a website where my customer wants to use the font Lucida Handwriting, I chose that font in the font list, but it does not show in designer view, live or in the browser.

    Is this due to the fact is not a font that browsers can view, or am I missing something?

    I use CS4

    I'm afraid that you are somewhat limited when using the fonts for web design. Here is a link to a list of common fonts on the PC and Mac platforms that can be viewed in a browser without any problem, because these fonts are pre-installed on the operating system.

    http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html

    To the main text on your web page, you must use one of the listed fonts. Headlines (larger text), you can use images or if you really want to delve a little deeper, you can use a font replacement method.

  • Fonts on CS3

    Y at - it a guide that explains how to embed fonts on CS3 without Actionscript?

    I'm looking to create a flash object that uses a special font that I have on my computer, but others may not have. I join interpolation fonts during the alpha property as you would with a form.

    I googled to death and found really very little on how to do apart from breaking apart text (ctrl-B), while the police becomes a form.

    Sorry I'm a beginner, but I find the fonts on CS3 will be extremely difficult.

    Thanks for any help, have a nice day!

    You can incorporate the police of a textfield by clicking that textfield (to select it) and, in the properties panel, you select your font, click the integrate and checking the appropriate boxes.

  • How to change the hyphen to the other fonts?

    Hello

    IM using a special font (Nordik) with has a very strange hyphen. I want to keep my text in Nordik, but need to change the hyphens in New Roman times to look better. How is it possible easily?

    Concerning

    Theun,

    It wasn't me, but TEUs. There always on its site (http://www.teusdejong.nl/), as it's a JS version that PVR and I made together. But you and Peter S. are OK, I guess that it is difficult or even impossible to manage autohyphens transformation in InDesign. Better to buy editir of Fontlab Typetool font and change the hyphen in the police. TypeTool is not too expensive (about $ 90 I think) and it will come in handy time and time again.
