[E5 - 522G] No support network hosted after updating Windows 10

Hello

I recently discovered some problems related to the creation of a hotspot via mobile phone. Things have been works perfectly with Windows 10, but after the update in November/December, I couldn't create a hosted network because apparently my NIC [Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377] suddenly does not support the hosted network. I tried searching for Microsoft Hosted virtual network adapter in the Manager devices, but with showing hidden devices, I'm not.

I also tried to update the NIC drivers, but neither one of the drivers available from the page of the official driver acer help. I tried to restore the system at some point before the Windows critical update, but every time I get an error message indicating that the system restore could not be carried out. The following image shows of the network information drivers.

My question is, can someone tell me is this a Microsoft issue, or is it related to Acer and is the drivers compatible with the new update of Windows 10? Also, I would be very happy if someone could help me solve this problem.

Thank you

Hey. I had this same problem with my G e5 - 573.

I fixed it by installing the version Win8.1 of this Atheros driver instead of the version Win10.

Here is the driver I used: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/Wireless%20LAN/Wireless%20LAN_Atheros_11.0.0.492_W81x...

It will be useful.

  • By using the system restore before computer restart after updating Windows 10...

I chose to try the upgrade of Windows 10 on my laptop primary.  Because of the long installation times, I started late in the evening then followed finishing (or almost) the update the next morning.  Until I sat down to 'start' I spoke with a friend who had just completed an installation of two heavy day of problems.    Although I am good enough to solve computer OS and software installation problems, I was very reluctant to go forward.   After serious soul searching I elected continue to use Windows 7, I don't really like.

That's why I chose to use the system restore before restarting my computer needed complete Windows Update 10.  I chose the previous restore point before the update of windows 10 and ran through the entire procedure and then restarted the computer after the restore point.

Everything worked fine and I was able to do the foregoing... Except that I can't do updates of security that have been uninstalled.   The Windows Update screen repeat "you must restart your computer...". "with the reboot by holding the active button.

This window doesn't go away even after reboot, and I can not "check for Updates".

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reset this program if I can do all the updates except Windows 10 security.

    Thank you for any assistance.

By using the system restore before computer restart after updating Windows 10...

Sorry, System Restore does not cancel the major updates, that's why a lot of automatic updates delete all system restore points. The tool that is appropriate in this case would be a restore Image. If you have not created an image before the upgrade, then you are out of luck.

  • Officejet OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: Pro 8600 more will not scan from touchpad after updating Windows 10

After a Windows 10 update, my printer will not touchpad analyze. It will scan the troubleshooting utility. I unplugged and reset without success. I have updated to the latest version of the HP software for the printer. What else can I try?

    Hello

You can try to install from the link here:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8600-plus-e-all-in-one-printer-series-N911/4322915/model/4323647

Before installing the HP software above, please uninstall your previous version first.

During installation, select the type of standard or recommended installation when you are prompted by the installation software. If you choose a minimum installation, read the description of each component software with caution to avoid the unintentional loss of functionality of the printer.

You can check via "Control Panel" > "Hardware and sound"-> "Devices and printers"-> under "printers and faxes". There will be a green check mark is marked to your printer if it connected successfully.

    Hope this helps you.

  • No sound from speakers after update (Windows/BIOS)? What can I do to fix this?

If you do not have from speakers after an update (Windows or Bios), please try a Hard reset first. Also, keep reset material mind does the same thing with each cell.

Now, if the hard reset does not work, you will need to update the Audio drivers (Realtek High definition (HD) Audio Driver) on the HP site.

Once you arrive at this page of your product type # in (if you don't know what your product is # or when it is on the laptop, here is a video that will show you exactly where to find ) > search click > select the option 'Software & Driver Downloads' > choose your operating system (not sure what operating system you have or where?) ( This should help out you) > then click after selecting operating system > scroll down and click on the + (plus) next to "Audio driver" > and then select the most recent version by checking the date on each download > then run.  Now test the sound after installation.

Also, please try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio Driver If the steps above do not work. How to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01868333

The last step to do if you get always no sound at all is a system restore to when you know the sound worked and do not download the last updated after that.

Here is the document to show you how to proceed. Select the option at the top that says "restore windows to an earlier point.

Just make sure and save the files and upload, you have recently installed or saved on your laptop.

  • I get 80244o1c error after updated windows update

I recently used the reformat windows 8 setting, "all remove and reinstall windows.

I have had no problems or issues with the process until I've decided to use windows update to install the necessary updates.

Update Windows prompted me to upgrade to the latest version. I then downloaded and installed the update and it told me that windows update will automatically close and open again. After the update I went and go to check updates. I filled the boxes updates, I want to install the first. I have install updated partially because I don't have the best internet speed to download all updates at once. But after installing the updates I get only error 8024401c. I tried to use the Troubleshoot utility and restart the computer when you are finished, but I still get the error. I tried all of the solutions in this link http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-windows_update/windows-update-error-code-8024401c/f8b9dc5f-a512-4e74-b41c-d357ca40f9f7. But still nothing.

    Help, please.

    P.S

I also tried to reset (delete everything and reinstall windows) several times and the recovery of a option restore point until I started the update from windows update. But still no luck.

    Hi Justin,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

    I appreciate your troubleshooting steps.

As you said you get a 8024401C error after installing Windows updates.

    I need some information.

    1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
    2. Do you remember the numbers KB installed updates?
    3. What happened when you performed the reset and restore? Do you have an error code or message?

I suggest you to please provide us with the number of the last update that you have installed on your computer.

See the link given below to find the number of the update through view update history. Please refer to the appropriate section (how can I find out what updates have been installed).

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/Windows-Update-FAQ

    Try the methods.

    Method 1:

As you have already tried to reinstall your Windows, I still once suggest to run the system update tool as system update scan tool corrects errors of Windows Update in Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008.

See the link below for the procedure:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/947821

    Method 2:

You can read the following article and try to reset the Windows Update components and check.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

Warning: This section, method, or task contains steps that tells you how to change the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Firefox runs very slowly after updating Windows 10

Saturday, December 12, 10 Windows spent an age of update itself, with several reboots. Since then, the navigation is horribly slow with Firefox, although my internet connection is always very well (fast my Smartphone using Microsoft Edge). I have two PCs, and both seem to have been affected in the same way. Using the Task Manager, I see that Firefox uses a lot of CPU most of the time - often more than 50%. Even typing and scrolling are very slow, not just downloading.
I disabled all my add-ins and plug-ins, run in safe mode, rebooted and reinstalled Firefox without result. So far, I'd say that Firefox is the fastest browser. I think that Firefox updated itself 42.0 version a few days, so I have a suspect that this slowdown has occurred just after a Windows Update.

Update: Windows update itself again today and, like magic, Firefox is again well. So problem solved.

  • HP Envy 13-j001ng 2 X: no rotation of the screen after updating Windows 10

    Hello

After the Windows 10 update, the screen will not rotate automatically. Sensor apps tests show that they are working correctly. I have the rotation toggle lock in the notification Panel (I read that some people affected by similar problems don't have it). Any solution for now or should I just wait for updates?

To solve the problem, I had to replace the pilot ODS sensor V2 with the Simple device orientation sensor driver. Now rotation works.
