  I think you're looking in the root folder not your home folder.   Tilde ~ in front of the first slash indicates the folder.

  Try this...

  Quit Safari.

  Open a Finder window. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

  Type or copy paste the following text:

  ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.Safari.plist

  Click OK, and then move the com.apple.Safari.plist file to the trash.

  Restart Safari to test.

• Code Inspector preferences does not save CS6 Mac

  I use CS6 for some time now. Works great with one exception. Whenever I stopped DW and reopen it. I have to reset the settings of my Code inspector window. I would like to have Word Wrap, line numbers, and enabled syntax coloring. For some reason any DW CS6 will not save my settings. Any idea why this might be? Obviously, it is not something huge, just annoying.

  I had this problem as well since the installation of the CS6.  I think I have found a way to resolve the issue (at least for my computer it worked).

  Once you have your screen set to how you want to that, including the preferences of your Code Inspector.  Select window > presentation of the workspace > new workspace.  Create a name for your page layout and save it.  Once you restart your computer and then restart DW, it should have all your layouts of the screen and your preferences of registered code Inspector.  I hope this helps.

  I run 11 items on a Windows 7 operating system.  Whenever I go to edit a photo and go to the expert tab, it allows to save my settings in windows, as layers on the side right and now EVERY photo that I have to pull everything up the way I like it until I can edit.  I don't know why it is not save them.

• preferences does not save in dreamweaver cm³

  • Welcome screen appears each time I open dw, even if I check the box to "do not display".
  • everytime I open a new site in the file browser, the columns are all smushed & if I resize them, it return for smushed when I opened another site (even during the passage of back & forth, dw won't save my resizing)
  • get the message 'save the dependent files?' every time I have to download a file, even if I check the box "don't show me this message again."

  Is - this happeneing to someone else?  No matter what known for this fix?  Not found anything specific to that here in the community.

  I think I could solve the problem with the Welcome screen & 'save the dependent files?' message by unchecking all boxes in preferences / sync settings.

What I didn't notice until after I clicked ok has a checkmark in the box to change something to kuklerest, or something like that.  My then replaced by Bing from Google search engine.  I tried to open preferences system Safari several time for change, but after clicking on Preferences in Safari the box will not open.  Any ideas?

  Looks like you have adware or malware on your system.  Download and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac to get rid of it and to avoid in the future, the following types of sites:

  • XXX sites
  • torrent sites
  • Group download sites (CNET, Softonic, download (dot) com, MacUpdate, etc..)
  • MP3 download sites (Mp3 Skull, mp3monkey, etc.)
  • any site that says you can download something free that you would otherwise cost you money

  Malware/adware found on such sites, either in the form of pop-up windows or interstitials and delivered with Setup for whatever program you are trying to find.  If you have downloaded anything recently and it wasn't from the App Store or on the Web site, it is maybe how it got there.  You should also clear your caches and uninstall all extensions, that you don't remember installing.

• Safar on MacBook Pro system preferences are not open

  I have no idea why. Was working fine a few hours ago. Be offline, work on photos on! acBook Pro. Tap that, saved, went to check emails, everything OK. Went to check internet and homepage made was different called Web search. I usually www.abc.net.au homepage. Went into system preferences in safari and zilch, not a thing. Is gone in the MacBook Pro settings, preferences system, then Safari App, security, everything seemed OK. A first audit help seemed fine. Stop. Restarted. Still no way to open system prefs in Safari.

  I can't on other applications.

  Help? All wonderful thought, solutions, ideas please?

  2.) proposed two hard drives from my old computer to the new computer.

  Each 1.5 TB drive has a single NTFS partition.

  (3.) I want to use the same drive letters, I used to have for these two partitions: Z: and G:

  Z: assigning to any readers was no problem.

  Assigning G: the other drive is impossible: Windows simply does not present G: as one of the options.  Available drive letters are ABEFMNOPQSTUVW.    The letters of drive in use are

  C (the primary partition on the new hard drive in original)

  D (DVD player)

  F (one of the hard drive from the old computer has moved new computer)

  L (USB HDD)

  R (mapped to profile just to keep simple traces, make it easy to find in the Solution Explorer, etc.).

  Z (one of the hard drives from the old computer has moved new computer)

  Even if I unplug the USB stick, unplug Z and don't map r: whereupon, letter G ever becomes available for anything.  I can change F to an easily - available drive letter and return to F - but I can't change it to G.

  The computer has a multi card reader? If so, they probably use these drive letters.

  To show empty drives:
  1. open Windows Explorer.
  2. click on organize.
  3. click on folder and Search Options and click the view tab.
  4. uncheck the hide drives empty in the computer folder, and then click OK.

  Check if it shows the missing disks and you can now assign.

  Anyway, the Action Center has begun randomly telling me that the Windows Firewall is disabled. When I try to start or return to the default settings, it tells me that it is not able to do.

  I'm sure you used a police typekit on the page mentioned in the error. Try the solutions below, and you should be all set.

  Solution 1:

  • Disconnect Muse to help > log out
  • Leave the Muse and relaunch it.
  • Sign in with your adobe Id and password, and then try to download again.

  Solution 2:

  • Disconnect muse and Muse to quit smoking
  • Launch the application in creative cloud and sign out of it. Connect and disconnect activate Cloud Creative applications
  • Sign in again and update cloud Creative if you are prompted.
  • Launch the Muse of the applications tab of the CC app and try to download again.

• IZotope Mastering and repair Suite no projection in plugins are not available

  So, a couple of days, I won a copy of the Suite of Master Audio Sony and part of what came with it Izotope mastering and repair Suite. The plugins installed in the correct folder [Program Files (x 86) /Vstplugins] on Windows 7 and when I go in Plugin Audio Manager and analyze records, these specific plugins are not displayed.

  There are 32-bit and 64-bit versions and neither a show Audition CS5.5 or CC2014. The only place where I can use them within Sony's Sound Forge, which is practically useless in my case.

  Suggestions or are they blocked only in Sony and therefore, no usable software?

  Just not possible... extremely frequent.

  I bet that card powered by Izotope in. hearing (Multiband Compressor, for example) can only be not achieved the reverse and what effect in Sony either.
