Spectrum: Spectrum HP display

Hi all, I have a product of spectrum hp and its been 9 months that I bought it, I have a problem with the display.

I do not have an accurate description of the situation, but the liquid in my touchscreen LED keeps flowing in the corners of the screen when I flip the lid from a different angle but is not wobbling and also when I apply pressure on the corner of the screen it keep doing the same thing.

Any ideas?

No problem and I also thank you for your quick response. From what I can find, looks like the problem may be with the polarizer. If my suspicion is correct, I don't think there is any operation troubleshooting I can suggest that will fix the problem.  I think that the best thing to do to give a call us. Since you only had for about 9 months, I suspect that the spectrum is under warranty still.

What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

Step 1. Open the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter the product number or select Auto detection
Step 3. Scroll up to "still need help? Fill out the form to select your contact options.

    In Firefox, go to options, then Advanced tab then general uncheck the use hardware acceleration

  • X 360 HP spectrum: Windows display 1920 x 1080, but it's really 1280 x 720

    Graphics Intel HD 520, pilots the latest.

    I tried uninstalling the driver, put it back, reset between the two. I tried to switch resolutions back, but I'm still stuck with a resolution of 720, while for some reason strange Windows thinks I'm on 1080.

    Any ideas?

    Perhaps also that the other page you are using is incorrect - but I tried it myself, and it showed the correct resolution.

  • Spectrum HP convertible x 360 13: Microsoft Wireless Display does not connect

    I just got my HP Convertible spectrum x 360 13 and may not have to connect to my Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Both are brand new. The spectrum sees the adapter, but it errors when it tries to connect.

    Can you tell me the type of card that was working properly? (In other words, is specific to the a display adapter and another of the same type, at work, it worked very well - or the other was a different type?)

  • Apple Thunderbolt display with spectrum XT TouchSmart

    I have a portable TouchSmart XT spectrum and I am trying to connect to a display of Thunderbolt to apply.  When I plug the screen on the thunderbolt port.  The PCIe to PCIe bridge is detected, however, all devices appear as generic devices.  There is no display and no other device does seem to be detected correctly, but generic PCIe devices appear in Device Manager.  I tried to reboot several times with the connected screen, but nothing works.  Y at - there a trick to getting this working?

    Looking at my screen, it seems to me that if the contrast is too high.

    Adjusting through the graphics settings screen intel (intel) and lowering the contrast helped, it is now the "40" value, but I feel like he is still too high. Browns are too orange, yellow are too white. If I could drop that to 40/100 to 20/100, I think it would be a sweet spot.

    Is this a known issue? What can I do to fix this?

    Question #2, is that my sound seems to come out a 2001 flip phone rather than a > 1, 000usd for laptop, is there something wrong with them (it is another problem known, do I have to change some settings in the B & O software?

    Also, bloody ' ell! Is there a special button I push on to wake up this laptop from sleep, or is it normal to have to wait 10 seconds for the screen to go?

    I understand that you have recently purchased the spectrum x 360-13-4103dx and are not satisfied with the following aspects:

    1. contrast

    2. the sound

    3. response of sleep.

    You did all your Windows updates?

    Did you run the HP Support Assistant?

    Have you ran the Windows troubleshooting tool?

  • Spectrum of HP x 360-13-4003dx: display external spectrum x 360

    Is it possible to run an external monitor with a resolution higher than 1920 x 1080?

    So much worse... plugged into my TV Sony 4 K via HDMI and it displays in 4K resolution. Unfortunately, the computer or my internet service were unable to manage YouTube 4 K content so now I'll need to continue troubleshooting. I think that Comcast has been the issue here, but I will run diagnostics and will report.

  • Exclude selection in spectral view

    I often eliminate any screams or simple return audio in videos that I take.  In AA3, that this has been made easier for allowing me to find the frequency (or range of freq) noise incriminated in the spectrum. freq display, select around her with my cursor, click on the 'Selection to exclude' checkbox and play audio to confirm that deleting this freq (or beach) would indeed be difficulty my audio or would remove the squeal but mess something else up on the clip (telling me to re - select "or learn to live with the sound).

    I got the CS5.5 update partially due to the 'improved' AA, and yet I see that I seem to be MISSING more ability edition I have won.  Specifically, "exclude selection" isn't there in the spectral display more!  {Not to mention that the point of Spectral and spectral Phase panoramic view is gone now too.}

    Have I missed a setting that can get this feature back, or will I just keep using AA3, because it does what I need the program for more than AA5.5?

    Exclude selection in spectral frequency view is not available in CS 5.5, but is prioritized high enough in the order of service book.

  • Spectrum x 360: screen goes black randomly when on battery and some energy-saving options enabled

    Hello everyone,

    I bought this fantastic machine called spectrum x 360 and I love it.

    Unfortunately since the early days I'm facing what I think it's a problem of driver/software (not the related material).

    This problem only occurs when I'm on Windows, not in the bios or at the startup. JUST IN Windows envinroment, especially after the login, and when the computer was turned off. Sometimes when I use it after a while, randomly.
    This occurs only when the spectrum is on battery. The problem does not appear on AC adapter.

    Problem: the screen goes black randomly for a few seconds and then reappear, sometimes the entire image on the right slide and there is a part that looks like yellow and corrupt, then goes black and reappears.

    Windows Version: I'm on Windows Home 64 bit, build 14393.321 10 (update of the anniversary).

    The entire screen works fine for normal operations, no artifacts.

    Replication of the problem
    Initially, I was able to reproduce the problem with the driver build 4360 (which is the version of the driver from the HP site). Whenever I loaded the home page of youtube and the banner has started playing on the screen went black sistematicly.
    Then I updated the GPU driver through the Device Manager, which has improved my GPU driver to 21.20.16.4494, as of July 25, 2016 and the problem happens much more rarely.
    Now I am facing this problem again but Edge works correctly and is not the cause of the problem, it can appear even when I don't do anything with the PC.

    I noticed this problem appears when saving options are enabled for the Intel GPU (I'm trying to translate this to English because the GPU driver Panel is in Italian):

    -update panel houses;
    -advanced mode; energy saving

    If I disable these options, the problem does not appear or, better, for I've tested so far, he could not displayed when options are not in market, but I have not tested this very long to be sure.

    In my opinion, there is a bug in the display driver, or some customizations made by HP causes problems with the driver.
    The rest of the computer works correctly.
    Any idea to solve this problem? Or should I keep these options turned off power saving?

    I have a passion for COMPUTING and ex-computer SCIENTIST, I am familiar in surveys on hardware/software questions and hope that this post will help some users get rid of this problem.
    Black screens and screen corruption has been issued by the option called "auto refresh Panel" energy saving.
    I did a lot of hours on battery (condition where this pop ups problem) in these days and the problem didn't show when it was turned off.
    To verify that I tried to activate "Panel options self-identity" in certain occasions and, at random, on the first boot of the machine (after being turned off) the problem arises again.
    It certainly is a problem with this energy-saving option.
    Now everything works fine.
    If the problem appears again, I will post more information.

    Cannot use the Zbook dock with spectrum Zbook dock has an extra power PIN for which there is no place to plug into the spectrum. I have two devices, so this comes from first-hand experience. HP USB - C docks like the dock of the elite have problems and I would go with a third party dock USB - C. I have not however tried an output dock dual display on my spectrum. Theoretically, each USB - C port can drive up to 4 x 4 K UHD monitors I've seen written, but not running.

  • spectrum x 2: spectrum x 2 stops unexpectedly

    The computer stops at least once unexpecedly whenever it is used.  does not start again, unless I plug it into the charger.   The battery is often full when this happens.  Sometimes if I get it started quickly it will be just as it was when he stopped.  Sometimes it starts, and I have to sign in and start as usual.  If I happen to have plugged in to the charger when I start it I don't have there problem.   Of course it's not ideal, I need to make it portable, as it is supposed to be.  Any help would be appreciated.

    I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your x 360 spectrum HP stop down after update of Windows 10. You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

    I see that if you change the balanced power plan options option in the book will help. Here is a link that will help you.

    Go to your power options. Select balance, then click on change plan settings. Click on change advanced power settings. Then save changes. Restart your computer and see if the options have changed.

    You can also try:

    In Device Manager, click the arrow next to display adapters to expand this category
    Right-click on the graph, and then select Update driver software if more than 1 graphic adapter do 1 at a time.
    Select search automatically for updated driver software.

    The laptop must find and automatically install the updated driver
    Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop.

    The muting of the keyboard light is turn on is when I cut it. I tried to reboot several times. Wish it would work.
