  Basically I have two 2d tables, a and b, one with 200 columns and rows of 1024, other columns a 512 and 1024 lines. What I have to do is multiply (dot product) each column a each column of b, the sum and take the absolute value of the result. The output, c, will be an array of 2d of size 200 x 512. Is it possible to do without the help of 2 loops of nesting? The two paintings 2d, a and b\, are produced by my material.

  What is the best strategy to get the maximum speed? I have a powerful enough processor.

  So I looked at this problem, said «seems familiar, but different...» ».  Did a little math, encoded at top and improved the speed by a factor of 100 (with absolutely no parallelism).  How about apples?

  Using the first double Lynn - to multiply, sum, formulation of abs and a 'do it as a matrix' on my machine, the Array 1004 msec, the matrix method took 10 msec, as well as the results differ by less than one part in 1 million (I generated at random (0, 1) floats, and made the comparison by subtracting the two tables and checking that the absolute all the differences were less than 1E-6).

  1. As far as I can tell, a bunch of JS files in folders wh * are responsible for the table of contents and search - I'm on the right track? No one knows exactly how these files are generated? I opened the Console to the Chrome developer while searching for a term and it looks like a JS TAKES a few milliseconds of load, but there are so many files it adds up to nearly a half-minute.
  2. If I had to reduce the number of HR modules (for example, 20 instead of 40), it would make a difference, or I should basically the same number of JS files altogether, just put in different folders?
  3. If I had to reduce the number of subjects that would help?
  4. Is there something I can do to speed up the loading of content on IE? There is a big difference compared to Chrome, and most of our clients use IE...

  There are several issues at stake here that affect performance: the amount of topics, merged help and the performance of the server.

  In the WebHelp output, you can select options for speed optimization. Try to set this option to "Local area network", even if you publish on the web. This option controls if you have files wh * more and more small or big but fewer files wh *. Network speed have increased so that you can use the local area network option. And there's an added bonus: each file that needs to be loaded requires a download from the server. And have a lot of downloads for many small files is much slower than fewer calls for larger files. This is because for each file on the server, the server must read the file and send it to the customer. If the server can do this with larger files, you can benefit from the best internet connections of the past 10 years. Have a fast internet connection does not resolve the issue where you have to collect many small files.

  To uninstall applications read OS X El Capitan: install, update and uninstall applications. Do never rely on what we call 'cleaners' or programs of type "zapper" to do it for you.

  When I run the help locally (on our network or on my workstation), the table of contents works very well.

  During the last hour, I added the script to force the table of contents of synchronization (found on the site Web of Peter G)... and it did not help.

  Any advice on where to look?

  No problem. Just load the page with the active Console tab. Then select the errors and you will not get the errors.

  Note: The table of contents are also very slow to load in Chrome. You have quite a few projects merged, so be sure that you set the correct speed optimization.

  The help of opening shows two errors in the Firebug console. I get a 404 on a missing file error: "" NetworkError: 404 not found - http://www.foodpro.com/help/release_2.4/webhelp/mergedProjects/FPUSRPRF/whxdata/whtoc.xml".

  The errors indicate that the merged projects 'checkfiles' and 'FPUSRPRF' are missing. I suspect that FF choke on the missing mergedProjects/FPUSRPRF/whxdata/whtoc.xml. Still, execution stops after that.

  But perhaps a merged help guru can tell you more.

  The runtime error is rooted in constant initialization.
  When you choose "Optimize for speed" or simply 'Generate C function' calls for applications with subVIs that contains the constant table initialization always use the option "allocate constants" on "first use".

  Other workarounds may apply as well: initialiser initialize everything in Top VI, use Array initialize instead of constant tables, etc.
