• Problem every time that I log out of Outlook Express

  Whenever I sign out of Outlook Express, I get the message that asks if I want that it 'compact my files.  I click ok and it goes through the process and then appears a box error that says "this file is currently used by Outlook Express or associated application."  I get this message when I closed everything down.  What can I do to let him finish the process and stop to get this message?

  You have apparent dbx file corruption. A common problem.

  Regarding your question, a PPS file is in fact a Microsoft PowerPoint slide show file. You must have the following Microsoft Office installed in order to open it.
  You can install the PowerPoint Viewer to open it, but the Viewer allows you to open, but not modify it.

  To use the functionality of the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy), in a new message window, click View | All headers and type the addresses separated by a; Or: Click the button to. You will see your list of contacts and the choice to put them in the To, CC, or BCC field. Click on an address, and then click BCC to add it. Repeat for all of the contacts you want. (Note: most of the providers have limits as to how many messages you can send both a. 25 is common, but it varies).

  I guess you have a pre existing account using the POP Protocol, that not only downloads the contents of the Inbox.

  Hotmail, Live, MSN, Outlook dot com now support IMAP which is a synchronized messaging service, changes in one are reflected in the other.

  File menu (alt + F) > New > existing e-mail account and add your account to the Thunderbird again. Make sure you have "account type selected IMAP and your all synchronized will.

  If it's like my account, your IMAP e-mail account will come with a subfolder under the pop called deleted folder that contains all mail I have downloaded in the past years.

  If you right-click your \new IMAP account in the folders pane on the right immediately after you create it and choose to subscribe you can unsubscribe from this folder if you don't see it

  OE 6 doesn't come with it's own spellcheck. You need to Word or MS Office program, before 2007. The spell checker in Works 4 to 6 will work with OE, but not other editions. If you do not have such a program, you can download a free spell check to one of these sites. WordPerfect is a Corel program and this spell check will not work.

  Like others, I have spell check the problem of language selection with OE, version 6.0.2900.5512, of not being able to move from the French to the English.  My OS is XP SP3 and I have Office Home & Student 2007 is installed.
