  Windows like Spider solitaire games comes with Windows Vista. To install the Spider solitaire, you need a Windows Vista disc. To install lonely Spider see the following steps.

  a. to install solitaire spider, click on the Start button

  b. click Control Panel, click programs and then click turn on turn Windows features on or off.

  c. in the Windows features dialog box, select the Games check box, and then click OK. Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  Games in Windows 7, Microsoft has removed by design and they are not available in windows 8 or from Microsoft. .   Try to open the folder withyour name here C:\Users\ and then there is a folder "Registered Parties" inside.  Delete game save from there, and then try to open the game again.

  I recommend just to create a new shortcut.  Go to C:\Windows\System32 and there you should find the actual program Spider.exe, just with the button straight on this and choose Create shortcut.  He should offer to create on the desktop, if it is not just copy it from the System32 folder and move it either on your desktop or in the Start Menu.   I've been plahying lonely spider offline for many years on this computer.  All of a sudden when I click the icon of the spider I can hear it loading but it loads behind the screen.      I can go to start program... Hearts... in offline mode and it appears normal for me to play.    Spider Solitaire is not scores by going to the start.  programs etcc.   I don't know how it appeared originally.  I hope someone can help...   Assuming you are using Windows 7, I suggest you to follow these steps and check if they help.

  Make SFC scan and check if the problem persists.
