    Hello Kluggerjo,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community Support from Apple. I know how important it must be able to count on your devices work as expected, and I have a few steps that should help resolve the behaviors you see.

I would recommend to go by resetting your management system (SCM) controller. MSC helps control and regulate different material on your Mac, including Bluetooth systems.  This article will guide you in this process: reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

If you still experience the issue after the test, you can test the behavior to a test user. This will help us to determine if the problem is systemic or isolated to your user account. This article will guide you in this process: How to test a question in another account on your Mac user

If the behavior is duplicated to the test user, I'd recommend reinstalling El Capitan. This will not delete your data. To reinstall using the recovery mode, take a look at this article: How to reinstall OS X

Context: update of El Capitan, recent MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM, Script Editor 2.8.1 asks:

I had several scripts and Preview.sdef open and had worked for a few hours, including the registration of scripts, without incident and tried to save my work on a new script and met the spinning ball.  This happens sometimes, requiring a Force Quit.  So I Force quit.  Try to reopen the script editor: immediate spinning ball.  Restart the computer.  Try to reopen the script editor: ball spinning again.

for example, I'm not impossible to open the Script Editor.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot appreciated.

    Hello

Hold down the SHIFT key when you start the Script Editor, which should prevent the application to return to the last saved state that fell down or damaged in this case, try.

  • Impossible to use Mac because of boxes appearing – 'com.apple.iCloudHelper.xpc', 'cloudd', 'MessagesAgent', 'represents' with spinning ball

My MacBook Pro El Capitan has boxes on screen-"com.apple.iCloudHelper.xpc", "cloudd", "MessagesAgent", "accountsd" with the ball spinning and I can't use my computer as these boxes want a 'keyring', and I don't recognize any of this. Help, please. Thank you.

    Hello T.W. Macaroni.

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  Looks like you are having problems connecting to your computer administrator user account.  (A 'Keychain' is a password management system).  Have you recently made changes to your computer (update your operating system, download any software, no password)?  The files above to indicate your computer tries to launch applications like iCloud, Messages, etc.

The first thing I would say is to restart your computer.  It sounds simple, but it can be a very easy solution.  If this does not work, restart your computer again, but this time hold down the SHIFT key.  It's what we call a safe mode.   If your computer starts in safe mode without these error messages, then restart again in normal mode (without pressing any key).

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

If none of these two basic troubleshooting steps work, you may need to enter a new password of your login keychain.  Follow the steps in the resource below:

If your Mac keeps asking for the password in the keychain

After you or your administrator Mac resets the password of your OS X user account, your Mac may ask you to update your Keychain password or enter your login Keychain password. He could also tell you the system was unable to unlock your login keychain. It's because your login keychain still use your old password.

If you do not know your old password, the solution is to create a new login keychain.

If you know your old password, use this password to update your existing connection Keyring:

    1. Open the Keychain Access application, located in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder.
    2. On the Edit menu, choose "Change password for Keychain 'login'."
    3. Enter the old password of your user account in the current password field. This is the password you were using until the password has been reset.
    4. Enter the new password for your user account password. This is the password that you are using now to connect to your Mac. Enter the same password in the field of verification.
    5. Click OK when finished, then quit Keychain Access.

T.W. Macaroni, if you continue to have problems connecting to your computer, please reply to this message and we will study further with you.

    Take care.

  • Spinning ball with feature film project

    Hello

I am currently changing my 4th long form in the first film.

Initially, it is always fast but when my project starts to get bigger, I spin the ball very often and the interface becomes slow.

I tried to import the final sequence in a new project, but it does not improve the speed. Reset the settings, remove the media cache files... doesn't really help.

I wonder how to improve it. I think my computer is powerful enough (Mac Pro 2013 6 - core with 64 GB Ram and GPU D700). My footages are always on a Lacie 2Big from 12 to crush. And I put the cache files of media on an SSD of love at first sight.

It's true that my sequence is not as simple as that, but I think he shouldn't get this slow. I have about 30 audio tracks, and I often have two tracks with subtitles (Chinese and English).

Although there is not a lot of cuts (usually about 300-400 shots for the kind of films I'm cut).

Perhaps comes from the drive HARD which could be faster, but I'm not sure at all.

Thank you for those who can give me some recommendations.

    Matthew Laclau.

Unfortunately, because the first project files are always a single XML - the most active files, you have a project, the first more slow is to manage things.

Our latest project was a 6 × 15 min TV series. We started everything in a single project, which worked well, until we started the Cup and had several sequences within the project. We have quickly broken things in six individual projects. However, more work that we've done on each project, the slower things got, so we were basically just having a stand-alone project for each revision of the edition (i.e. each project file did not contain a single sequence).

This was happening on a top-of-the-line Mac and PC on hardware of Adobe approved with very fast storage - the two CC 2014 running.

My only suggestion - the only way to speed things up is to simplify projects. It's a pain - but maybe something you can try is:

-Duplicate your current project in two new projects (let's call them "A project" and "Project B")

-Project A will be your project 'takes '. In this remove all sequences and all the media that you don't need.

-Project B will be your current edition project. Remove all old sequences, so that you have only the single sequence of your last edition. Now use the ' Edit > remove unused media "feature. This will remove any media that is not currently in your project.

-You can now continue cutting in project B. Whenever you do a new review major edit, just "save under" project, which, instead of having multiple sequences for each revision in a single project, you now have several projects. If you need to go back to the old takes / selects, etc. you can open A project in the media browser.

I admit that's not ideal - but if you work on a project of big news in the first, and is simply not follow - it might help.

There seems to be a LOT of users around the world that make the massive projects to the breast of the first without any problems. However, in my personal experience, the project is, the slower and more boring first receives.
