Split CS5.5 on two computers?

Hello

I would like to know if I can buy a standard package CS5.5 and divide the installation on two computers (used by two different users):

-1 computer: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

-2nd computer: Acrobat pro

Thanks for the reply.

[transferred to the instance of installation]

No, you can't. Retail for CS5.5 license allows it to be installed on two computers, but only if you (as the holder *) are the one who uses two copies. This allows for example to CS5.5 be used on a desktop computer and a laptop computer, but it does not allow a license to share between two people.

* CS retail licenses are personal-issue even if paid by a company.

I upgraded to cs5 to cs6 on my workstation... worked well. I can't upgrade my laptop. Is the upgrade for only 1 computer?

Well, it is a known issue, see this:-

everything goes well with your upgrade, if it was then it would not have worked on different computers.

  • If I update to Cs5 to CS6 can install on two computers as my CS5 is?

I bought CS5 before CS6 is released and the version I have (suite? individual?)  I can't say that it is on the website or in the box of my CD came in) I would like to install it on two computers.  I would switch to CS6 but would like to be able to be upgraded versions.  I took classes online for CS5 and CS6 courses are now available.  I can't find my answer anywhere, after searching for a few hours.  I can buy the upgrade, but there is nothing to say if I can upgrade computers.  The upgrade allows the upgrade of two computers?

    HI Margaret,.

According to EULA you can install it on 2 machines, provided that you do not use at the same time.

    Thank you

  • Can I use a CS5 license in two mac at the same time?

I install my CS5 in my macbook air and recently I buy a mac mini and I would use the CS5 too. Is it possible for me to install it in the mac mini?

    Yes.

    • You can install CS5 software on as many computers as you want.
    • You can activate the software to be used on up to two computers (not 3 or more) at the same time.
    • You can only use the software enabled on one computer at a time.
    • You can toggle between computers using Photoshop for example your activation > Deactivate
      Enable and disable Adobe products
  • update of a website of two computers?

Hello. I am a webmaster for an NGO and eager to create a second person to help with this task. I use dreamweaver cs5 and have a second license, which could be put in place on another computer. I wonder if the updates can come from two computers or if there are problems with the folder where the data are saved. I.e. it synchronizes from the website of my computer if the second person makes a change?

Here is how you should do to avoid problems of version control:

    1. each of you has your own local site folder identical (you do not share a network mapped local folder).

    2. in each site definition, select the Check-in/Check-Out and fill in the requested information.

Using CI/CO, the remote site to become the gold standard for your files, NOT on the local site that is used for editing only. To edit a file, you must connect to the remote site, select a file and check it out. Once verified, this file can be changed by someone else. To allow someone else edits on this file, you must check it in.

    Make sense?

There are other approaches much more restrictive and strict version control, but it works if everyone plays well, and it is native to DW.

  • Content of mail to sync between two computers

Is it possible to synchronize the content of mail between two computers [iPhone, if possible]? Computers currently send and receive the same two e-mail accounts [not an account of @iCloud.com]. But if I receive an email, reply or remove it on a single computer, it is always also a new email unread on the other. It's a possibility, perhaps with a disc of individual cloud?

Late 2008 MacBook Pro. El Capitan 10.11.3

    Mac Mini; El Capitan 10.11.6

    iPhone 6; IOS 9.3.5

Thanks in advance for any help.

Only IMAP e-mail accounts sync on devices. That's how to operate these services - nothing else is required to achieve this.

If your email is responsible for no synchronization across all computers and devices, you must have type accounts pop connect you to these accounts via a web browser and look at your options and account services. POP is such an old system these days there is almost nobody left that enemies do not switch to IMAP.

If all this is confusing, call your email providers and ask them to make the change on their end, then ask the information you will need to enter on your computers and your iDevices.

  • Two computers connected to the same account sync will not sync-ing

I have two computers and an android device. I have set up A computer with sync, and it connects to a device and a virtual machine running in the computer, without any problem. I have another device that is not synchronized with them. It seems to be loged on the same account of Firefox. If I click Synchronize under preferences tab, all the options are checked and the account name is displayed. However, neither the favorite nor other data seem to be in sync to the device. Any thoughts?

    Hi ohnoplus,
Thank you for your question. I'd be happy to help you explore this question with you. Here are a few troubleshooting steps that we can take:

    1. Please make sure that the version of the browser on Android is superior or 29.
    2. Please check in the accounts that there is no (obsolete) account.
    3. Please also try to remove the account, add once more
    4. Please, I beg you, then take a test and add a new bookmark, password or something on behalf of the Fund. Click on "Synchronize now".
    5. Set the account and synchronize it manually in the menu account on the mobile device.

Note it may take a long time to synchronize on the first time, but please post back with the results and if there are errors, then, we can allow error logs.

  • Two computers share the same wi - fi Modem. When A computer reads a message that is marked as read on two PCs, not allowing computer B see what needs to be read.

Two computers share the same WI - fi Modem. When A computer reads a message that is marked as read on the two PC, not allowing the B to see what still needs to be read. Email is Thunderbird.
Please help, thank you for this option online support

I should add that if you operate the account using Pop then messages can be left on the server without any indication that they have been read. You define each customer to leave them on the server.

However if you don't know what messages have been read, I know not how will you know which ones to delete and when to do it. Without active maintenance your server could quickly become full.

  • I now have Thunderbird on two computers; How can ensure me that both receive mail?

I found that new messages are received by any computer happens to open Thunderbird or opening first, while the other does not receive the new message.
Ideally, I would like to be received by the two computers, the new messages that Thunderbird is open or not.
    Is this possible please?

Both are equipped with Windows 7 and are connected to homegroup.

If your happy with IMAP, it is really time to cleanup.

Menu (alt + T) tools > account settings at the bottom of the list of accounts to view hidden in an account actions button. It offers the possibility to delete an account.

  • When you configure synchronization how sync manages information on two computers? It merges the information?

When you configure synchronization how sync manages information on two computers? It merges the information?

    Hello!

Yes, how Sync is that it brings together all the bookmarks and pushes them to all your devices. Same thing with the story.

You will lose all the information in one of your computers.

  • How to connect two computers and LAN

I can't get my toshiba to interface with my desktop computer or to connect to the internet via a CAT5.
    I tried everything I know.

I'm not too sure about the LAN MAC? He just will not connect even if the device is functioning properly.

    Any ideas?

Here are the instructions how can connect the two computers.

-First of all, you will need to disable the firewall.
-Then you need to set the same workgroup on both computers
-in the Lan Card Properties-> Protocol TCP/IP settings, you must assign the IP address manually. That is, a computer must use the 192.186.50.1 ip address and the other computer must be set to 192.186.50.2.
-MAC address is fixed and cannot be changed. Each LAN card uses unique mac address

After these settings, you must restart the portable computers (computers)

PS: I recommend Google for details and further instructions.

  • Advice for the implementation of FCPX to be used on two computers

    Hi all

I really hope that you can give me some good tips to help me implement FCPX for use on my two computers.

In a Word, my challenge is that I have my data (music, photos, video clips, etc.) stored on my iMac (saved regularly!), however as a still more frequent business traveler, I bought a macbook pro so that I can continue my hobby of projects in the long evenings to watch the hotel walls.

What is the ideal way to manage my entire upward? I would be pleased to be able to synchronize my macbook with my iMac and just take what I need with me, work on him and then when arriving home sync back changes. Is this possible?

More than happy to hear other recommendations anyone can have to handle these scenarios.

    Thanks, Chris

    Hello Chris,

One method would be to have FCP X installed on Mac and use a fast external disk to store your libraries.

The libraries will open and be usable on Mac.

Just make sure that the media is stored as managed and not external.

This means that all media will in the library.
