  So I've recently started working with flash, and this is my first result (at http://johnnydepp.org)

  The problem is that I added the flash header just by adding this code:

  And I think that there's another way, a more professional one, to add it.
  
  Apart from that, the flash loads too slow, I guess because it's too big... is there anyway I can make it load faster?
  
  and it's not visible in some browsers, like you enter and it says: "you have to download this plug-in to view this image".... what can I do about that?

  DSL is slower than a cable connection, but it is still much faster than a remote access.  If I check the site you have linked, even if it does not immediately come upwards, it takes a few seconds for the Flash to load using a cable connection, and it seems to be due to the image that has the file in it.  If you can optimize this image before importing it into the Flash file, then you could see much better load times.  To optimize the image you want to first adjust its dimensions to what is actually in the Flash file, then run it through an optimization of processer (Photoshop may help here) such that you reduce the size of file and then import it into Flash.

• Performance of XMLType Insert too SLOW

  Goal: Insert performance 0.1 seconds
  AMRS, Client 11 g server is presnt in Asia. Network intranet =
  Size of object = 15000 bytes. Size max = 30000 bytes
  
  Problem: executeUpdate takes about 0.33 sec. However, getTemporaryClob is very slow, arnd - 1.33 sec
  
  In getTemporaryClob()->
  CLOB.createTemporary-> 0.2 s
  CLOB.getCharacterOutputStream-> 0.2 s
  Writer.Close-> 0.8 s
  
  Alternative:
  XMLType.createXML (conn, InputStream) is far too slow.
  
  My approach:
  SQL = Insert into mytable Values (XMLType (?))
  CLOB c = getTemporaryClob()
  preparedStatement.setObject (1, c);
  preparedStatement.executeUpdate ();
  
  1. is there another solution? (for example: could I send the bytes directly rather than create a CLOB)
  2. in the creation of CLOB, for each object I create temporary Clob, getStream & Flush writer, writer close CLOB, before I run the query. Is there a way to create TempClob only once and insert the number of records with the same temporary clob (I should require only Writer.write (String))?

  Can I have more information on your mac? The info above, it looks like you have 4 GB of ram. What is your CP?

  It look like your computer is slow is because 98% of your PC is used for Hearthstone witch led to a driver failure, and your RAM has a lot to deal with. I would recommend strength leave Hearthstone when they surf the web, etc... Hope this helps, good luck to you.

  When I open about 15 sites in firefox 6.0 and 6.0.1 with Morning coffee add-on version 1.35 there not too slow to browse all the it takes about 30 min or more some time never load sites
  but when I do in firefox 5, 5.0.1, or 3. XX is the browsing speed is good and take about 2-3 minutes to completely cover each of them.
  I think that there is a problem with several tab navigation in firefox 6 or maybe a security that allows to slow to browse many sites.

  I have a satellite pro m70-113 laptop.
  The problem is that I am not able to web surf, when you are connected to the Toshiba software modem that is integrated, because the speed is too slow.
  Connecting about 40 Kbps, but I can't even open the yahoo site just because it's very slow. I mean it seems that there is no data transfer... I have to wait 5 min load yahoo.com!
  I tried uninstalling, reinstalling the drivers, but the problem is the same...

  I´ll get a warning message (a gray pane / box) tell my server broadband can not run enough.

I was wondering if this could be a problem of connection pool / the question of the database size.
