Envy TouchSmart m6-k125dx: envy Touchsmart m6-k125dx msata support

I am wanting to install a 250 gb msata 200 mx crucial SSD but cannot know if this laptop supports an msata disc or not. I removed the bottom plate and I see an msata slot, but am not sure which will support the slot and the bios. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

See page 35. This model was sold with a mechanical hard drive a WSSD 24 concert as Accelerator Intel Rapid Storage or only with a hard drive of the WSSD 128 gigabytes. If there is a regular SATA in place, you cannot start the mssd, but you can start the mssd, if it's the only drive.

You could install the MSSD you chose, but it needs to be the only drive to the laptop to be used as boot drive. It also requires the oldest type of WSSD not type m2. There is no size limit practical other than what you can afford.

  • Envy 15 360 t: double support for repairs controls bouncing

my computer has sent to tepair the case. The case damage was ln the lower part of the 360 envy laptop (it was a month)

the computer came with the screen out and have bright markings - this was the upgrade of dollar $ too btw 356 improved screen.

I called 10 minites after as I opened the box when I realized the problem.  I have spenf a nour and the other half being transferred around, during which, I noticed the buttons stick inside of the case, a computer for months.  very angry and red, I said a bad word and said to be silent and transferred again.

Finally the 9th person I talked to said it includes and went on the subjects with me, has accepted the machine must go back and fix it the right way without charge,

whereas the first repair was $ 270, it seems logical to me.

I woke up and realized that they took me $ 252 for this second repair.

now they have a laptop I paid $ 1200 for and an additional $ 270$ + 252 to make repairs in the first month of possession of the machine.

This machine more than my car cost me at this rate.   I can't afford to be a customer of hp.

Its a Samsung 850 500 GB M.2 3.5 inch SSD Form Factor 80nm.  Can I use in a configuration to double for my laptop with the current 5400 RPM 1 TB HARD drive already in the system?  Or do I have to use one or the other?  Or can I select a smaller SSD storage for a double configuration?  I have to talk to a technician and he said my system does not support a 128 GB ssd and it did not indicate if it is a double or a single disk configuration.  In my view, it is difficult to imaging a new desire to 2015 with an i7 Quad Core skylake 6700HQ processor supports only a meagre 128 GB SSD.  Any ideas on what my system can support?

I can verify that it works very well. I had HP technology insist that I could use only one hard disk and a maximum capacity of 128 GB. The technicians don't know squat. I use now a configuration double with the operating system and my programs on my 850 m2 sata evo III 500 GB SSD and my data (videos, music and photos) files on the preinstalled 5400 RPM 1 TB HARD drive.

I was reading through the forums in orer to find a good way how to and I found the manual below

Don't listen to this guy. It is a straight copy and paste and that's all. SSDS is supported by anything that uses the SATA interface.

  • HP envy m6-1125dx: ssd msata on HP ENVY M6-1125DX

Hi HP! I am a customer who uses an Hp product, have a laptop model HP ENVY M6-1125dx. I asked about this hardware upgrade thing. My problem is that I see a mini PCI - Ex right next to my Wifi card slot, so I take a look at the manual and his told me that my laptop can be upgraded to a 32 GB MSATA SSD (cause is using my laptop intel i5 - 3210 m chip). I would like to ask if I may or may not be upgraded more than 32 GB ssd, what the textbook says. Ex: I want to upgrade to ssd 128 GB msata. Is this possible? And what would happen if I switch to ssd 128 GB msata through mini PCI - Ex. thank you!

The 32 GB mSATA ssd is intended to be used by the software Intel IRST.

You can add a higher capacity SSDS mSATA and use it as storage or even boot into an operating system with him. If you do this, do not use the Intel IRST software because it will use part of the SSD for the cache and the rest will not be usable.

  • HP ENVY dimensions of the openings support 4-1050 CA?

Hey, I just bought a battery charger, portable online and no cable my computer fan accessories.

    My computer: http://www.thrift-king.com/systems/laptops/laptops/hp-envy-4-1050ca-ultrabook-b5t11ua-abl-14-0-intel...

    The Portable battery charger: http://www.amazon.ca/RAVPower%C2%AE-Multi-Voltage-UltraBook-Camcorder-Smartphone/dp/B00HFMUBYG/ref=s...

In any case I asked their support team and they said they do not know the dimensions of my port of loading.

I looked online and found this. Would this work? : http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G6UMNXK/ref=twister_B00HDYT3AO

If this is not the case, is - anyone know the dimensions or a product that would allow me to use the battery charger?

    Thank you!!

No matter what the manufacturer of the RAVPower said you, books cannot currently be charged through their ports USB 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0.  They just want to sell their unit. Which is marketing. They use a (maybe) future standard as a selling point.

Power USB ports current usb 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 on laptops, they do not supply accept. Input power to your laptop through the power plug adapter connector on the laptop. When USB-PD becomes the new standard, then it will be possible to charge your notebook via the USB - port PD.

Unit RAVPower is OK to load the android and Windows smartphones. These devices are normally loaded through their micro usb ports.

    Do not forget:

It is the opinion of the Expert that you shouldn't depend on HP Support AWizard when it comes to BIOS updates.

According to other factors in the system at the time when the HPSA trying to hit your system with an update of this type; the results could be... other than expected.

You can set 'Notification' HPSA to prevent it from trying to update your BIOS.

DON'T update the BIOS when you see an update in the Web page of your computer AND this update can be used to provide a fix for a problem that you have discovered in your system.  In other words: If your computer is happy, do not update the BIOS just because you think it would be a good thing to do.

If you decide to update your BIOS

    • Make sure that ALL backups are up-to-date and complete - this means that everything you need to restore the system in case something goes wrong.
    • Understand that even when you do everything exactly right, you can end up with a bricked computer, that is an expensive paper weight.
    • Make sure you have at least your critical data on some form of external backup.
    • Unplug the USB drives and other useless material.  Keyboard and mouse can stay connected.
    • Always run power cable to update the BIOS, never on the laptop battery
    • Touch the system during the update is underway
    • Optional: Leave wireless ONbutton. You could turn off the router to ensure that there is no interruption.

    Updated the BIOS
