I can achieve this by GET the the number of SQL rows first and then re-run the same SQL to display the data if the number of rows is less than 1001. Could someone let me know if this is possible without re - run the SQL several times as the SQL is the query intensive re-source

    Hello

    You can try in bulk collect into a collection.

    If the number of rows in the collection is less than 1000 triggers an application error or return results, if it is greater than 1000

    If this is suitable for your needs, please post more information on the system requirements.

  • Need of SQL to display the password

    I am trying to write a SQL statement that show all changes to password successfully.  I came up with this one that successful action "ALTER USER" registered in DBA_AUDIT_TRAIL against the $ USER_HISTORY via a together pirated key, you will see controls labeled "SLINK".  It works well except when we moved per hour that there is a difference of one hour between DBA_AUDIT_TRAIL. TIMESTAMP and USER_HISTORY$. PASSWORD_DATE.  Some documents show also some second difference.  I'm not really happy with my approach at all because is a kluge, so if anyone has anything else that would be great too.

    We run on Oracle 10.2.0.4

    WITH PH

    AS (SELECT U.USER_ID,

    U.USERNAME,

    H.PASSWORD_DATE,

    U.USERNAME

    || TO_CHAR (H.PASSWORD_DATE, "MM/DD / YYYYHH:MI:SSPM '")

    AS SLINK

    OF SYS. USER_HISTORY$ H, U DBA_USERS

    WHERE H.USER # = U.USER_ID).

    A

    AS (SELECT USERNAME AS CHANGED_BY,

    OS_USERNAME,

    USERHOST,

    TERMINAL,

    OBJ_NAME | TO_CHAR (TIMESTAMP, "MM/DD / YYYYHH:MI:SSPM '")

    AS SLINK

    OF SYS. DBA_AUDIT_TRAIL

    WHERE ACTION = 43 AND RETURNCODE = 0)

    SELECT THE PH. USER_ID,

    PH. USER NAME,

    PH. PASSWORD_DATE,

    A.CHANGED_BY,

    A.OS_USERNAME,

    A.USERHOST,

    A.TERMINAL

    PH, HAS

    WHERE PH. SLINK = A.SLINK (+);

    You can analyze superior (DBA_AUDIT_TRAIL. SQL_TEXT) for something like 'ALTER USER IDENTIFIED BY % %.

    You will need your audit_trail parameter value DB, EXPANDED to capture the SQL text.

    I have the situation where I have to show number of all records in all the particular period but where the condition type condition must be present:

    Ex: Today is Friday and last Monday was 18.

    Since Monday to Wednesday, the date has to be the next that is Monday, June 24, 2012

    I tried under 'Source' from the element using PL/SQL expression and the body of the PL/SQL function. Does not

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks and greetings
    Umer

    1. you must set 'used source' "Always".
    2 If you use a PLSQL function as source type body should set a 'RETURN' statement like this:

    declare
    lv_date number;
    begin
    select to_char(sysdate,'D') into lv_date from dual;
    if lv_date=2 then
      return to_char(sysdate-1);
    end if;
    end;

  • How can I tell SQL Developer to always display the datetime values in its entirety?

    It's really annoying. Developer SQL displays only the date part of datetime variables. Good, if I preface every query with 'ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT = "DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS";', it will force the datetime value to display, but that it a nuisance!

    How can we make SQL Developer ALWAYS display the full datetime value?

    SQLDeveloper it will display Date + 12:00:00 AM (depending on the format you chose). You will get no error. I published an article on this with screenshots, in my blog. • How to display the value of sys_context in SQL Developer?

    Hello
    I can see the results via sqlplus with the following statements:
    SYS_CONTEXT ('empno_ctx', 'empno_attrib') SELECT Empno_attrib FROM DUAL;
    SELECT * FROM SESSION_CONTEXT;
    the two retrieve correct values;
    now, since I mainly work with SQL Developer I wanted to display the results in here too;
    I ran the procedure in SQL Developer via a right click on the procedure-> run;
    He looked like he ran ok.
    However, when I do the queries above nothing is retrieved;
    any suggestions?
    Thank you
    Rgds

    It may be that the two things are running in different sessions.

    What happens if you run them in a spreadsheet?

    Start
    procedure_call;
    end;
    /
    Select sys_context...

  • Form does not display the 'new' SQL database records

    I have a PDF form that retrieves data from a SQL Server.  The fields of
    the PDF are filled from the database after you have selected a specific
    record in a menu drop down and clicking a button called 'bridge '.
    The problem is that the drop-down list does not display new records that
    have been recently added to the database.  I have to open the form
    in the designer, and then save it, (* note - I change anything at this point.)
    Then, when the form is opened upward in Adobe drop-down list show all
    the documents, including the new ones.  I even put a manual on refresh
    form to try to solve the computer problem has not helped. Seriously left speechless.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Here is my code for the menu drop down.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    topmostSubform.Page1.JobSelect::initialize - (JavaScript, client)
    var sDataConnectionName = "BBCC" example - var sDataConnectionName
    = 'Test ';
    var sColHiddenValue = "ContractAdmin_Key"; example - var
    sColHiddenValue = "Dept_ID";
    var sColDisplayText = "JobDescription". example - var
    sColDisplayText = "Dept_ID".

    Search for sourceSet node that match the name of DataConnection
    var nIndex = 0;
    While (xfa.sourceSet.nodes.item (nIndex) .name! = sDataConnectionName)
    {
    nIndex ++;

    }

    oDB var = xfa.sourceSet.nodes.item (nIndex);
    oDB.open ();
    oDB.first ();

    Search with the command 'class name' node
    var nDBIndex = 0;
    While (oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex) .className! = 'command')
    {
    nDBIndex ++;

    }

    Save the original settings before you assign it, BOF and EOF to stay
    var sBOFBackup =
    oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex).query.recordSet.getAttribute ("bofAction");
    var sEOFBackup =
    oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex).query.recordSet.getAttribute ("eofAction");

    oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex).query.recordSet.setAttribute ("stayBOF",
    "bofAction");
    oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex).query.recordSet.setAttribute ("stayEOF",
    "eofAction");

    Clear list
    this.clearItems ();

    Find the record with the corresponding data connection name
    nIndex = 0;
    While (xfa.record.nodes.item (nIndex) .name! = sDataConnectionName)
    {
    nIndex ++;

    }

    var oRecord = xfa.record.nodes.item (nIndex);

    Find the value
    var oValueNode = null;
    var oTextNode = null;
    for (var nColIndex = 0; nColIndex < oRecord.nodes.length; nColIndex ++)
    {If (oRecord.nodes.item (nColIndex) .name is sColHiddenValue)
    {oValueNode = oRecord.nodes.item (nColIndex) ;} on the other
    If (oRecord.nodes.item (nColIndex) .name == sColDisplayText) {oTextNode
    = oRecord.nodes.item (nColIndex); } }

    While (!) ODB. IsEOF())
    {
    this.addItem (oTextNode.value, oValueNode.value);
    oDB.next ();

    }

    Restore the original settings
    oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex).query.recordSet.setAttribute (sBOFBackup,
    "bofAction");
    oDB.nodes.item (nDBIndex).query.recordSet.setAttribute (sEOFBackup,
    "eofAction");

    Close connection
    oDB.close ();

    Here is the code for the button refresh

    +++++++++++++++++++++

    topmostSubform.Page1.Button27::click - (JavaScript, client)
    sourceSet.BBCC.requery ();

    The other thing that could happen is a problem of refreshment in the DropDownList control. Try to add the command xfa.layout.relayout () after the database connection has been closed.

  • Oracle SQL Developer - how to display the date with TIME

    OK I change the setting of the NLS to DD-MON-RR HH.MI. SS
    (Tools-> Preferences-> database-> parameter NLS)

    BTW - what is changing the format of the database or just my client side? I don't want to change the database and other users would be affected by my change.

    I check the date time poster by practice
    SELECT double TO_CHAR(SYSDATE + 1, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH:MI:SS');

    Returns
    JUNE 24, 2009 10:32:55

    OK, here is my problem or question...
    but I wan't do in East... I have a column in a table that stores a number of minutes from a given date...
    the given date is 12/30/1899 00:00:00

    If I want to display the minutes in a format of date and time... but when I do
    Select To_TIMESTAMP (30 December 1899 00:00:00 "," mm/dd/yyyy HH24:MI:SS) + (Start_Moment) / 1440.
    To_Date (30 December 1899 00:00:00 "," mm/dd/yyyy HH24:MI:SS) + (Stop_Moment) / 1440
    from tableA

    RESULTS
    22 JUNE 09 23 JUNE 09

    I tried the function TO_CHAR but don't have time to be like
    Select TO_CHAR (to_date('12/30/1899 00:00:00', 'mm/dd/yyyy HH24:MI:SS') + 57580140 / 1440) double

    RESULTS
    22 JUNE 09

    I don't know that it's the simple convert function that I do not know...
