Stamp of automatic location of files in Photoshop

I'm looking for a way to add "file path" on my network in the lower corner of each image where it is registered at the bottom of the PSD to a JPG, PDF etc. I managed the graphics in an office architecture where our directories of project can be confusing and out of control. This makes files and images find very hard if they have not been kept in the right place or if you are returning to a project after having been away from him for months or years. Does anyone know how to have these automatically added information? I'm afraid that if I ask people to do it manually it just doesn't happen. There are scripts that you guys know? I found scripts to the watermarks, but this isn't really what I'm looking for.

Thanks for any advice.

I found scripts to the watermarks, but this isn't really what I'm looking for.

In fact, it is quite likely is. You just change a few lines and add the code base. I'm not fluent PS scripting, but insert app.activeDocument.path.toString () instead of the custom in the script watermark string should work. You may simply need to store in a variable first.

So, in my words, your picture has not changed somehow in Photoshop. There is no sense and doesn't matter the number of ppi. The important numbers are pixels.

    Hi Vigo,

Could you please share what's working color space in Photoshop?

Try to change it to sRGB and check again.

You might also want to calibrate your color monitor profile and check.

  • What is the best way to make a PDF file several Photoshop images, while maintaining editable layers?

What is the best way to make a PDF file several Photoshop images, while retaining the layers in editable for later use mode? I tried to do in Acrobat, but it does not keep separate layers. I also tried to automate the PDF presentation in Photoshop, but it combines the layers as well. I need to enable layers from photoshop retain their ability to be edited.

It is not possible at this time, Photoshop is not a page layout program and pdf is hardly a format suitable to hold several files psd layered or editable page layouts.

Why would you do that anyway?

  • Place the Fireworks file in Photoshop w / back and forth Fireworks

I have a solution, but it seems awkward and since I am new to using these two tools together I wonder if there is a better way.

Right now, I can put a Fireworks CS5 file in Photoshop CS5. But if I double click on the layer in Photoshop it requires me to edit the file in Photoshop instead of editing in Fireworks, which would be ideal. Also if I just change the file directly in Fireworks and save it in Fireworks it will not automatically update this layer in Photoshop, that would be ideal. Now I have to replace the contents of the layer with the file every time that I change it with Fireworks. Is there a better way?

I read these two articles which

Launch and edit preferences in Fireworks (seemed to be what I wanted, but they have no effect)

Fireworks graphics place in Photoshop (export seems to be the wrong approach if I want to continue to edit in Fireworks)

    Thanks for helping out!

No, because Fireworks mask their data within a normal PNG and Photoshop can always change the PNG.

  • Safari 10 not not automatically opening PDF files

Yes, I have the box checked in the preferences to automatically open reliable files after downloading. I have tried many different websites PDF files now, and none of them does not open automatically.

I tried to delete the preferences of Safari, but that did not help.

Does anyone else have this problem?

For security reasons, I don't have Safari 10: preferences: general Panel: Open Safe files after downloading verified. It has nothing to do with the opening of PDF documents in the browser, as it is the function of the OS X Internet plugin default to this end, or the option in Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF plug-in.

Plug-in Adobe Reader is disabled by default in the 10 Safari: preferences: Security Panel: Internet Plug-ins. You will need to activate it via the plugin settings - if you use it, but with a WARNING WARNING like Safari 10 notes that there are security issues that you can, or perhaps are not willing to accept.

With Adobe Reader Plug - in disabled Internet, 10 Safari automatically opens a PDF Web site in the browser. There are no preferences special setting to enable this default behavior.

Your accounts must be set up as POP or IMAP, not coil is my guess.

  • I need to locate the file one by one?

Normally, I put the iTunes media files on my external drive. But recently, it connects more.

When I try to recreate a link to it, all the music in my iTunes shows "!" and cannot be read. I need to locate the file one by one to make them available again?

There are more than 2,000 + music in my playlist. Are there other ways to locate the whole folder at the same time?

    Thank you very much

It should connect if he did in the past. is it possible that you renamed the drive or folder in the path to the iTunes media.  This, ny the way, is one of the reasons why we suggest to keep a whole library on an external media player only.

If you find an iTunes file should offer to find others as long have you let iTunes organize media in the past.  If this does not work then probably something got renamed on the disc.

Pop-up window automatically downloaded a file to my laptop. I deleted the file in my downloads, but how can I be sure I have removed completely?

If you know what has been downloaded, I would use EasyFind:

    https://iTunes.Apple.com/us/app/easyfind/id411673888?MT=12

In addition, I would like to launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac:

    https://www.Malwarebytes.org/Mac-download/

These steps will not guarantee that all items have been reomoved.  This is possible only by backing up your data, erase the HARD drive and then reinstalling the OSX and your data.

    Ciao.

  • Automatically read the file next to the folder

HI I'm reading in the file and the attached vi allows to calculate the area under the curve.  everything works, except that I would like the feature to automatically select the file "next" or "previous file" with out having to reopen the dialogue of the user.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not watching your vi but attached is a way to navigate to the file preceding and following.  You will need to add some range test (if the file is the first or the last in his repertoire).

  • I updated to XP from SP1 to SP2 and rec'd an investigation re firewall to block xrxfptlt. I can't locate any file containing this sequence

    Original title: what is xrxfptlt?

I updated to XP from SP1 to SP2 and rec'd an investigation re firewall to block xrxfptlt. I can't locate any file containing this sequence, including any system or hidden files. A search in the registry also has given no result for this combination of letters. Does anyone have an idea?

    Hello

You are probably referring to xrxftplt.exe. xrxftplt.exe is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files".

XrxFTPLt.exe file is a Windows core system file. The program is not visible. Start the application at Windows startup (see registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). Program has no file description. The file is a reliable file from Microsoft. The program uses ports to connect to LAN or Internet. XrxFTPLt.exe is able to connect to the Internet.

However, some malware camouflage themselves as XrxFTPLt.exe, particularly if they are located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32. Check the XrxFTPLt.exe process on your computer either on the pest.

I recommend that you use the Microsoft Safety Scanner to run a full scan on your computer to verify if this is a malicious file.

Note: You may lose any infected files by eliminating malware.

  • lack to locate some files in the Recycle Bin

I recently looked in the trash yesterday to restore some picture files and wound up in the trash. Once I've added a few new files I wanted to delete later in the trash and reopened, the image files, I tried to restore from before disappeared? What should I do to find these exact files?

    Hi Caleb,

When you delete any of these files or folders from your hard drive, Windows puts in the Recycle Bin and the Recycle Bin icon goes from empty to full.  Folders and deleted files remain there until you select Empty trash or delete these files in the breast.

There is a limit on the trash that you can check / together by right clicking on the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop and select Properties. If fills up, Windows automatically cleans the files to make enough space for the files and folders more recently deleted.

If the above is the case, you will not be able to restore your photos. You will need to seek third-party freeware to restore deleted files.

    I hope this helps.

  • Tried to install iTunes 10... error message... couldn't access network location \common files\.

Hi, I have really not much about computers, I'm sorry. I tried looking for answers myself but I do not understand much of the language and I don't know if I read the appropriate information.

I wanted to update my iTunes on my computer (Windows XP) but it doesn't seem to work when I searched for upgrades and click Yes, I want to update. Nothing happened.

So I uninstalled my iTunes and I tried to install iTunes 10. But when I did, I got an error message with the title of iTunes + QuickTime... say... couldn't access network location \common files\.

I uninstalled QuickTime, hoping that would help, but of course not knowing what I was doing. It did not help.

What I Googled, it seemed I had to look at something in the term. I arrived at the spot but have not seen any obvious errors. But then again, I had really no idea what I was looking at!

I would really appreciate if someone could help me with a language very very basic.

    Thank you very much.
    -Emma.
