  This occurs when you use the wrong value of AP, which is not the same as the name of the stamp you see in the stamps palette.

  The best way to get the correct value of AP is to apply the patch manually, then select it with the mouse and run this code in the console:

  this.selectedAnnots [0]. AP

• Stamps custom not appearing is not in Acrobat DC

  I copied the stamps custom since previous versions in Acrobat DC.  They do not appear in the palette or do none of the technical articles online fix.  I spent an hour chatting with someone trying to check I actually had a product under license, and when it has been verified, told me that I was in the wrong place to call the toll-free number.  I called a toll-free number for another hour waiting to be said when replied that they had technical problems and to call back in an hour.  Someone at Adobe really knows how to help me with this problem?

  That should do it, and that's what works for me. You need to restart Acrobat if it was open when you copied the files of stamp here, but you have probably done that. There is another location, you can try, you can get to run the following line of code in the JavaScript interactive (Ctrl + J) console:

• Adding texture to stamp a logo in illustrator

  Hi all

  I'm wanting to add a stamp texture to a logo in illustrator. I'm doing it with the pathfinder palette, but without success.

  I don't want to use clipping paths, since this is a logo I want it to be a straight on vector. The image below will explain better then words. Here is a link to the illustrator file Dropbox - logo.ai. Any help would be greatly appreciated, at the height of frustration.

  Pathfinder will work if you first do your whole logo in a compound path and your texture while another composite path. Move the texture at the front and use less Front.

• So frustrated... have CS5 and whenever I try to use the clone stamp, it just does not move picture.  I click on duplicate, move the image to press option and the minute I move stamp image, it starts moving around image as if there are two pictures the

  I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. When I use the clone I timbre "Alt-click" to select a point to clone from. When I try to do the cloning of the entire image moves on top of the original image.   If someone knows a cure for this I would be very grateful for the help.  This seemed to begin after the last update of CC.

• Clone stamp tool question about CS5

  Work on pshop CS5 for the last days (transition of cs2) I noticed the stamp in c5 tool is updated with a capacity to 'Preview' inside his brush. Also noticed that this feature makes the tool a bit slower, or perhaps more absorbent memory buffer and seems to be slower and less smooth when you work. Is there a way to close the preview and do act as in cs2 where there is no preview in the stamp tool brush?

  Freshly installed 10 items.  Can not use the option-click to define an area for the clone stamp.  The error I get is:

  Yes, that sounds like a problem of layers.  If the area that you use to define the source of duplication is a transparent area on one of your layers, it will not work.  Released from the Palette layers, then make sure that you use the area of the image (and not the mask area) - if the area of the image on the layer is active, it will have a border.

  I would like to stamp exhibition, but it seems that it also marks the cropping and it cannot be disabled.  Am I missing something, or is there a way to simply remove the selected settings.  The box seems to apply to everything under the "adjustments" section.

  Just in case where you can't find this now - the answer is a little late, I know

  In the lift & Stamp HUD, you can remove items, not just disable them.

  First raise the data of the selected image. In the lift & Stamp HUD click the Basel to the right of the "adjustments", then select "Crop" and use the delete key to remove the culture of fundraising points.

  Just delete the full entry using the delete key.

  I was wondering if there is a way to share / export of custom devices through Color Palettes?

  Searched in the color under the library file, but cannot find the file light.CLR in the custom palette, only "Apple.clr", "Crayons.clr" and "System.clr".

  Do not neglect your custom colors recorded since the color picker in your local library/color folder.

  The standard search for lists of color path is:

  • / System/library/color
  • ~/Library/colors

  You could keep a record of color lists stored in iCloud and copy them into the folder ~/Library/Colors on each Mac on the local network, but the color picker is not aware of the location of iCloud. There is no provision to prevent as names to crush each other in this process either.

  I'm not sure I understand your question.

  Are you eager to select ONLY the area that looks like a grid?

  It is often easier to use the color window that appears if you click on next to the more limited color box (or show colors in the View Menu), as this remains open. You can "restrict" the choice of colors using areas under the opacity slider with the colors you want to use in your current document. Colors often have to be dragged out of the biggest square next to the pipette.

  This window remains open until you close.

  This Mac two monitors has been improved lion in El Capitan yesterday. All right, except that it's not remembering places window between start-ups. So if I drag my Safari window to the 2nd monitor, and then quit and restart the Mac... Safari opens again on the 1st monitor. This is true for all applications... it seems that window locations are "memoirs." I have to rearrange my windows during each session. It's not just Safari... that's a lot of applications (calendar, Pages, Numbers, Safari, Mail) but not all (Calculator, App Store and others remember their positions of windows).

  Adobe CS6 application palettes (palettes of tools of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) go to my first monitor any time I switch to another application, and then return. For example... my palette of 'pages' is placed on the second monitor, then I switch to Illustrator and go back to InDesign (not to quit, logging, etc. just an app switch) and all my palettes will jump on the first monitor.

  What is going on? How can I stop this behavior? It becomes quite boring.

  More info: places of window seems to remember on monitor 1, but if something is moved to monitor 2 and then the location of the window is forgotten the next time the application is started.

• color palette for the Export keynote

  I've created a palette of color and model for a customer. I need to share the file light.CLR with them but I can't find it anywhere on my disk. The colors file contains only 'Apple.clr, crayons, clr, System.clr.

  Any suggestions?

  I haven't used Keynote 09 for awhile however checked MY user library > colours and there is a MyColours.clr file in there. The files you mentioned are in the System > Library > color on my Mac
