Start bar begins on a bad office in a multiple monitor configuration.

I have my Windows 7 Home Premium machine series upwards with two monitors extended desktop display. I'm having a problem where sometimes, when I restart the computer, the start menu begins on the secondary display even if the icons are correctly located on the main display. I have to disable the secondary display and reactivate to solve this problem. It's extremely annoying; y at - it a fix for this problem?

Rather than the deactivation and reactivation of the secondary display, follow these steps:

1 - Check that the second screen is defined as primary in the resolution options.

2 - the next time you experience the misplaced taskbar, unlock the taskbar (by clicking on the right) and then dragging it to the correct location.  The taskbar will remember this post - that it cannot do when it is placed automatically during the installation of multiple monitors.

If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!

  • Start bar and icons Office GONE! Help please!

Not very well why, but after having turned on my laptop in a day has more no tools start toolbar or the desktop icons! I am having access to internet through CTRL + ALT + DELETE and then running a new program from the Task Manager. Does anyone know how to get back them, because I can't even in the start bar to perform a system restore. HELP PLEASE! Thank you very much!!

    Hi jade,.

The office layout is normally stored as part of your user profile in the Windows.

You have any other ID user defined on you laptop you can use? They should be defined with administrator access (assuming you are using XP) in order to correct your own id.

Default you could boot into safe mode and log on to the identification of the ADMINISTRATOR who would then let lets redefine you own ID.

      Note

To lock the taskbar into place, right-click an empty space on the taskbar, then the ClickLock to the taskbar so that the check box is displayed.

    To move the taskbar
    • Click on an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse button, dragging the taskbar to one of the four sides of the office. Once the taskbar where you want, release the mouse button.

I did not all icons and I don't have the start on the display bar. Make a right click on the desktop does nothing. On startup, I get a window with the elements of the Office however, if I close the window, I have nothing but the blue screen.

If you are able to get into safe mode, do a System Restore by selecting a date when you don't have this problem as your restore point.
How to go in Safe Mode :
Turn the computer on, press quickly on F8 key continuously until a black and white screen.
Use it to top down arrow to select mode without failure , then press the enter key.
After that login in safe mode, use this tutorial to do system restore:

    Good luck.

  • error code 0 x 80070426 "this copy of windows is not genuine" with a blackscreen and I can't access windows explore or my start bar.

I recently bought this laptop from a friend and she has never had this problem and ive trawled through microsofts suggestions, which most need of the start bar, which I did not immediately because of the blackscreen, and start on the keyboard key is not appear. I'm not sure what to do now that I know it's a genuine copy of windows vista. I do not have the installation at hand disc, and I think that my friend had already installed when she got the computer vista laptop.

Currently, your copy of windows vista is not activated. If you have the product key with you, you can activate your copy of windows.

You can find your product key on your computer or inside the Windows package installer disk-based.

Type SLUI in the search box and press ENTER key

Follow the directions on screen to activate windows

You can activate online or by phone. You need an Internet connection to activate online. Activation by phone requires interacting with an automated phone system.

  • Update of Windows Vista has changed format of tools/start bars.

Updated Windows Vista installed today (Apr 28, 11). After restarting, the tools/start bar bar returned to the old gray Windows (classic?) format. I tried everything but can't retrieve the standard Vista graphics/format. The customization tool said that it is set to the Standard Format.  Antone have a response to that?  Thank you.

    original title: missing start bar

someone can tell me how to stop the start bar disappear when I start my computer I have not a start bar and how can I get it back

    Hello

    1. when the question is is produced?
    2. don't you make changes to your computer before the problem?

Follow the steps in the article below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

Restart the explorer.exe process and see if it helps.

    a. go go to the Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del)
    b. click the process tab
    c. complete the task of explorer.exe
    d. click on file, select new task and type explorer.exe and press ENTER.

    Step 2:

Start your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Step 3:

If not, then most likely there are a conflict of third party software that may cause the problem to occur. I suggest that you put your computer in a clean boot State and check. Clean boot eliminates conflicts of third party software.

Note: Follow step 7 to start your computer in normal mode.

    Step 4:

Perform the scan SFC for system missing files.

The tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker scans missing or system corrupted files and repairs them.

    Step 5:

Create a new user account and check if the problem is recurring in the newly created account.

If the problem does not persist in the new user account, it could indicate that your old user account is corrupted.
Access the link below and follow the steps to repair the corrupted user profile: difficulty of a user profile is corrupted
