• New convert to Mac - question start CS5

  I recently started with a MacBook Pro and have installed PS CS5. When the PS loaded on machines Win in the past, her entire program was 'content' in a single window. It looked like any other window program and I couldn't see through it. With CS % on my Mac, the program loads and works very well but loads such as multiple windows. There is one in the top - menu choices. On the left and right toolbars. Loading of the image in the window at the top left. I can move each as I want. Problem is that between each of these windows, I see through on the desktop or any other window that might be there. It's annoying at best. I must have put something wrong - can someone put my mind right. Please?

• Cannot start cs5

  I downloaded cs5 trial and install it but it does not start, I get this message: the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000001d). Click ok to close the application. I have a modest 2600 barton (athlon) of the machine with 1.5 G ram and 64 of ram graphics card. I had cs4 trial and it works perfectly, so I thought that this would start at least.

  Nope, Photoshop comes with versions 32 and 64 bit and even before installing the 64-bit version unless you have an OS 64-bit (and processor)

  I recently did an update to windows 7. Now when I try and launch PS CS5 Iget the following message: "the system cannot find the file specified." I uninstalled and reinstalled the PS, but this has not solved the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

  I have upgraded to Windows 10 which solves the problem although this seems to be an extreme solution!

• Error 213:19 CS5.1 (64-bit)

  A download application corrupted Windows 10 on my system and I had to download a new Windows 10 to replace the corrupted version.  In the process of cleaning and testing software, I needed to set up a new user profile on the system. I also had to keep the old user profile active that I've migrated files from one user to another profile.  Doing that I should start CS5.1 under each user profile to verify that I had everything transferred correctly.  Stupid move!   I deleted the old user profile but now find CS5.1 think both users have access to a copy unique user CS5.1 and I get a 213:19 error and I am unable to open applications in CS5.1

  Suggestions on how I can get the app to start now that that unique user profile on the system?

• dragnkl1.dll missing please reinstall error after CS5 update

  After the recent update to CS5, the next time that I started CS5 got me a cannot start... dragnkl1.dll... reinstall missing error.  I can roll back the update or is there a fix for this problem?  I really have time right now to do extensive troubleshooting as I am in the middle of a job.

  Second:

  I just started CS5 today and I have a problem with the printed colors.  Does anyone know why the colors would print a lot less saturated in CS5 (using the same file, same print settings) then CS2?

• Technical support gave me a download that I can not install

  FILE 0219529466 NUMBER.              My Photoshop CS5 working properly.  I believe that this can be linked to the recent update of Windows 10.  When I tried to start CS5, I got a screen that said I started my trial version, I got CS5 for years.  After a long conversation with the Adobe technical support, I learned by them to uninstall CS5 I did.  They sent me a link to a file to reinstall the CS5, but when I tried to use the installation program failed because it could not find a previous version.  Apparently the installer gave me was an upgrade and he was looking for an earlier version.  Since I had CS5 for modified computers and the years I don't have a previous version of the installer to find.  The installer confirms my serial number is good, but fails because it cannot find the previous version.  TECH SUPPORT FAILED this time!

  Any time you create or modify an action, you need to save the Action contained therein. Is the only place where in that they are stored in Photoshop preferences that can be reset or you may need to reset. If you do not save the game action and give you loose the actions that you have not saved your Photoshop preferences. You may be able to recover part of a backup system.  The first thing we do is start CS5 and record all the action.  Photoshop only record the actions actions not only set.  If the used menu item "Save Actions."... "The way to record the following actions:

  Highlight the Action define your actions are in the scripts Palette.

  Then use the action Palette Fly-out the little triangle icon menu it the upper right corner of the palette.  Click "save Actions... ».  If you have not an action defined highlighted this point will be grayed out.

  When you click on save Actions... a 'save' in the dialog box will open.  You can save and load actions of any folder that you read write access to.  I always record everything I add in Photoshop in one of my private folders that I create as "My Photoshop\Actions".

  Once you have you registered you can load into any version of Photoshop where you saved their actions. You can simply drag the *.atn file and drop it on a version of Photoshop and it will be loaded in the actions palette.

  Append it above is noting where your Photoshop preferences are stored and where you can record the action in a folder by default Photoshop creates for you the UserID for a version of Photoshop.  I do not recommend saving your actions in there. Save them in you own folder private for use all versions of Photoshop.  Actions are generally compatible between the different versions of Photoshop.  Adobe has introduced a bug in Photoshop CS4 that can affect a small number of shares which is still with us in the CS6.

• What is causing this problem of color on menus?

  For these past few days, whenever I start CS5 Extended (32-bit or 64-bit) some of the articles on the drop-down menus appear as a blue bar. I think it's been the 3dVia plugin installation. Could it be the problem?

  

  It might be the workspace you have loaded under the blue menu colors are usually displayed in the workspace again in CS 5.

  Go to window > workspace and try working space Essentials (default).

  You can also disable the colors of Edit menu > Preferences > Interface and uncheck Show Menu colors and I guess it was possible a third-party plugin

  I posted a question very similar yesterday b/c my search in the forums do not show me this information in results.  This message has been extremely useful.  I deleted my keychain Adobe, and this demand has continued to appear when I open programs in the suite.
