Start on this stuff AVI conversion?

There has been a lot of chatter on the conversion of AVI files to the "correct" version If an AVI is a container, what hell must it contain to be updateable in PP?  If say 'AVI' is like saying 'automotive', how can I say it was a Lexus?

In my situation, I need to enter several old TV shows on DVD in Premiere Pro CS4. In the end, I want to generate filies FLV, with the best quality , as I can get.

I copied the contents of the first DVD on my hard drive (four VOBs, as well as their IFOs and BUPs) that make up a 60 minutes TV show.

  • What is the 'best' utility to change/convert these files to two or more "whatever" which will publish first?  Please define bit "matter".

  • All things considered, I even want to mess with notice? Is there another form that would be easier to deal with?

  • Is it still a good idea to circumvent the process 'rip', as I did, to the process of 'recode '?

  • I started using Nero 9 and ripped the DVD to MP4s (their flavor of owners). Do not change.

Then I "converted" them to AVI with some freeware module. Problem (video, in PPCS4, at a normal speed, runs about 70 mph, with audio pass 20 in the visualisation and the timeline pane. The files play OK in media players and in Premiere Pro 2.0 as well.) The converted files (AVI) are about a quarter of the size of Nero MP4 files.

  • Your is really really tired of chasing its tail.

Anyone?

Only works with the last update.  (apparently)

  • New Sections in Pages - 'Starting on this page' not an option?

    Hello

I am creating several sections on one page in the Pages so that I can create sections with different numbers of columns.

I'm running on a problem that create a section break automatically starts a section on a new page. When I try to select "Start this page" on the "create a new Section" menu drop-down format of the Document, the option is grayed out.

What should I do to "starting with this page", an option?

It's easier to do in Pages ' 09, which took a Break from layout and a column break. V6 and v5 pages eliminated paused, so you have to improvise.

There are two different approaches to a layout page in single column, two columns and return to single column. The two approaches are easier if you are available with showing invisible mode (click on the images to enlarge):

    1. Preferences pages: leadership: Alignment Guides: both are checked.
      1. Alignment of the areas corresponding text appear automatically
      2. Text boxes for positioning as appropriate. Several column in a text box mode do not display the column or gutter contours. It is the simplest to implement and tweak.
    2. Two sections
      1. Regular and one single column followed:
      2. Insert menu: column break
        1. Format text panel: tab page layout: 2 column
        2. Insert text in multiple columns and add additional yield at the end of the last sentence.
      3. Insert menu: column break
        1. Format text panel: tab layout: 1 column
        2. Resume entering the content of normal paragraph

My folders disappeared when 10.6.8 OS10.11.3. In any case, to get this stuff back in folders rather than a long list of files?

    Where they disappeared?

Some changes that may be what you watch:

    • All of my files - this is the search folder that searches all your files in your home and presents them in one place. They were not moved, they are displayed just like they are.
    • Framed by default - the sidebar returns the values by default for all folders that you placed there will need to be added again.

Your files are stored inside your folder into subfolders such as Documents, movies, pictures, etc. They are all should still be there. You can add one of these folders to the sidebar by dragging them there, or you can use the tab of the sidebar in the Finder preferences.

You can access your file in the Finder with cmd-shift-h (menu go).

    Hello world

I know, there are several other threads on this topic, but I couldn't find a working solution. I currently have no OS on my DELL XPS 17 L702X. Hello

I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer to change the BIOS settings and check if it is has updated the BIOS.

Important: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Let us know the results. We will be happy to help you further.

Eventually, I would keep if free games, but not if they are fresh. Yet once, maybe, you could number and type Y for Freeware and N for the trial.  Not always clearly they do if you have a trial or free until it is installed.

  • Cannot start Windows 7 after the conversion of the physical machine

    Hello

I converted my windows 7 64 bit running physical machine to the virtual machine using converter 5.0. I am running VMWare Workstation 8.0. My physical machine hid the 100 MB boot partition and 90 GB main partition. During the conversion, I don't have an option to select a hidden partition, nor did I want in my virtual machine. Conversion failed with the following message (planned):

Unable to find the system volume, reconfiguration is not possible.

Then, I started the virtual machine using the Windows DVD and selected the option "repair". Once I arrived, I used diskpart to make my active primary partition and then followed the steps in this KB http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1037507 to fix everything including BCD. Once this was done, I used converted to reconfigure the virtual computer, and this time he succeeded. Everything was good and as expected up to that point. Now, when I start the VM, I get by BIOS init and then I get a black screen - no messages at all and he vm it is here without doing anything. I tried to fix it again and everything seems good (checked all the information using diskpart, bootrec and bcdedit so that automated repair) - everything seems to be in order, but the black screen is all I see when I try to start.

Any help to guide me to this point is very popular figure.

    Thank you

  • Let fall speed when starting to save the AVI with camera basler GigE

    Hi all

I use 2 cameras GigE of Ace basler at 60 frames per second to capture of animal locomotion. I randomly experience this kind of problem. When I start to save in a start/stop button and save videos in the HDD sometimes lower at 20-14 fps frame rate and a framework to skip 2 or 3. After that, the pace has become stable at 60 frames per second.

Here are the parameters and specifications of the overall program:

-J' use a loop of producer/consumer (I've ever known a fill of the queue even when the rate of drop occur)

-J' fixed bandwidth of the card Intel GigE from 100 to 500 for each camera

    -sent packet size = 8000

    -firewall disabled

-execution of vi in higher mode

I observed that the dropping of the pace occur when the vi run for a while without interaction with the operator (the operator configure other settings in another computer, so the vi only acquire the video without saving)

    I have attached the vi

    Thank you for your help

    Alex

    Hi Eric and Isaac

Finally, the problem was similar to that indicated by Peter Westwood in his post 'lost GigE frames/buffers '. I discovered that the problem occur with the version of labview 2012. Indeed, I tried with the 2011 version and I have it all fall. So, I'm doing the same thing that Peter is "I changed the program, so that keeps an account number of buffer (incrementing the number of buffer on each bucket) and specifies the number of buffer to the VI Grab." "It works well, even on the occasions when the loop of the acquisition is sometimes momentarily delayed for up to a second or more, i suspect, Windows to write the contents of the disk the disk buffer, or do some other household.

So even if the fps drop the program acquire the right frame and in the video I do not see any image ignored

    Best regards

Edition with Service Pack of Windows XP _ _?

What anti-virus application that you use, and if she slept in day?

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

If you are comfortable with the stability of your system, you can delete the uninstall of patches which has installed Windows XP...

You can run disk - integrated into Windows XP - cleanup to erase everything except your last restore point and yet more 'free '... files cleaning

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

    CCleaner (free!)

(just disk cleanup - do not play with the part of the registry for the moment)

Cleaning the components of update on your Windows XP computer

While probably not 100% necessary-, it is probably a good idea at this time to ensure that you continue to get the updates you need.  This will help you ensure that your system update is ready to do it for you.

Download and run the MSRT tool manually:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
(Ignore the details and download the tool to download and save to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

Download/install the latest program Windows installation (for your operating system):

Download the latest version of Windows Update (x 86) agent here:
    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=91237
... and save it to the root of your C:\ drive. After you register on the root of the C:\ drive, follow these steps:

Close all Internet Explorer Windows and other applications.

    AutoScan--> RUN and type:
    %SystemDrive%\windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe /WUFORCE
    --> Click OK.

(If asked, select 'Run'). --> Click on NEXT--> select 'I agree' and click NEXT--> where he completed the installation, click "Finish"...

    Reset.

Now reset your Windows with this FixIt components update (you * NOT * use the aggressive version):
How to reset the Windows Update components?

    Reset.

Now that your system is generally free of malicious software (assuming you have an AntiVirus application), you've cleaned the "additional applications" that could be running and picking up your precious memory and the processor, you have authorized out of valuable and makes disk space as there are no problems with the drive itself and your Windows Update components are updates and should work fine - it is only only one other thing you pouvez wish to make:

Get and install the hardware device last drivers for your system hardware/system manufacturers support and/or download web site.

If you want, come back and let us know a bit more information on your system - particularly the brand / model of the system, you have - and maybe someone here can guide you to the place s x of law to this end.  This isn't 100% necessary - but I'd be willing to bet that you would gain some performance and features in making this part.
