starting yesterday windows mail doesn't send mail and deleted emails are not going in the folder to delete first

deleted emails disappear just - I checked the settings and they are not configured to automatically remove. When I try to send an e-mail, as they go to the Outbox and windows mail will not send not and gives all the details in the window box, its just empty. When you return to the Outbox of the body of the e-mail message was gone.

You can have an email stuck, even if you don't see it.

The parameter, you need to activate is... "Leave a copy of messages on the server.

  • Then I got to Windows mail and avoid my messages to upload?

I want to go to the settings in Windows mail without my messages download until after I finished with the settings. Is there a way to stop messages upload. I know there is a button I can click on stop that but they download so quickly that most of them have already downloaded by the time wherever I can get to the button 'stop '. I'm doing the setting where I can set up leaving messages on the Web page of the provider for a while before the provider ignores the and after they have been downloaded in Windows mail. I could do with one of the addresses I have, but I can't fnd this setting for each other, my business address.

Can someone help me with these two problems that I have so I can accomplish this task? Right now, I can't use my program of Windows Messaging because of this problem. I don't have my own computer with me all the time and when I'm at my broker's Office I would like to be able to get to my e-mail messages, my provider's site but can't if they are all downloaded to my hard drive through Windows mail.

Please help me with this problem since I was about to reach the limit of the ability of my provider.

So to summarize; I need to know how to stop my messages upload when I open Windows mail and I also need to know where the parameter is to leave messages on the site from my provider for about 30 days after they have been downloaded in my Windows mail. This is why I don't want my messages to download until I could get my settings set to leave messages on my site of suppliers, so I access them from other computers.

I have an ISP provider and my OS is Vista. I don't know what other information, you may be able to help me.

Thanks in advance and please excuse the spelling mistakes that I may have.

    Linda

To stop the download of Windows Mail, until you can get in to change the settings, unplug the network cable or unplug the wireless network. Once you have set the options, you can plug it into the internet.

    1. Start the registry editor; Click Start, click run, and type regedit.
    2. Look for the following key in the registry:
      Mail HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Windows
    3. In the left pane, click Windows Mail. Both values should be displayed in the right pane: one is by default, which has a value of Windows Mail, and the other DLLPath, that contains the path to Msoe.dll on your computer.
    4. If the DLLPath value is not present, click Edit, point to newand then click string value.
    5. New value #1 appears, with the selected text. Type DllPath, and then press the ENTER key.
    6. Double-click the new value of DLLPath to open it. In the value data box, type the path to the Msoe.dll file on your computer, for example:

  • Problems with Windows mail and sending attachments

I use Windows Mail and my computer is running on Vista Home Premium.  If I try to send an email with attachment (any size, sometimes with very small files, but also of large files), it seems that the message has been sent.  It appears in the sent items, but it never really happens to recipients.  I even tried from sending me messages with attachments, and they never appear in my Inbox.  If I go to sent items and then click on it and will communicate the message reached the recipient with the attachment.  So strange.  What is going on.  It seems to be sent, but just diappears in space somewhere, acting as if they were sent, but who never reach the recipient

My first guess is that its your antivirus software.  Look at www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 there are a number of anti-virus just don't work well in WinMail, so see if that helps at all.  For example, if you have active scanning emails (or even if not) outgoing messages could have been blocked, but why are they OK transmission is kind of weird.  I suppose it could have to do with the database, then you can try compacting and repairing the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/), but I doubt, it's going to do a lot.

  • What is the difference between Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail?

    Separated from this thread.

I realize that starting from 7/11, Windows Live is more effective on my Windows Vista system.  I understand that and I have since beengetting my Hotmail acc't workingusing only Windows Live Mail.  This am, I tried to create a new account hotmail for my friend, but we couldn't get it to accept and just stopped trying.  Now, today, I can not send any e-mail because "you cannot configure Windows Mail to use a web (HTTP) that is running Windows Vista based."  WHA?  I managed somehow to get into Windows Live when I tried to get a new account hotmail for my friend?  Also, I also receive a message from the Assistant on "you want to want to leave, you have not created your new account?  (probably not the exact wording).  In response, I clicked Yes and no, and still I can't get out of this Windows Live.  I would like to purge my system of this needless to Windows Live and only use Windows Live Mail.  Can someone help me to do this?  (My knowledge of couputer is at a basic level, so hopefully it won't be too difficult to understand.)  Thank you!!!

(With the HTTP mess), it seems Windows Mail and Windows LIVE Mail are two very different things.

I am not a technician, but try to stay up-to-date. I have known that Vista sucks because it came out, but it surprised me, never have used before today. So I wonder...  Windows LIVE Mail can be installed on a Vista unit, and if so he would remove the format HTTP bug? It's all THE Microsoft, after all! On my PC with Windows 7 HP with complete Essentials, including Live Mail (for PC, to avoid confusion with the version online), I have not had any problems to Hotmail at work, send or receive. GMail also, no problem, the only thing I did NOT like about Live Mail is that it doesn't have the handy function "Sweep" that I love, I just go online to own things very quickly. With only Windows Mail (which I assume is supplied with Vista), it won't let me even try to set-up Hotmail/Outlook account. It's stupid, because like I said it's all EM!

    peace ~

Windows Mail is the e-mail that comes with client program and a part of Windows Vista. Windows Live Mail is a program available for free download; It is an e-mail client, the timing, the Manager contacts, aggregator and newsreader at a single feeding program.

Until a few years ago, it was possible to synchronize the Hotmail accounts with e-mail clients on Windows XP and Vista (Outlook Express and Windows Mail respectively) using WebDAV over HTTP protocol. This method has been deprecated after a long sequence of initialization in September 2009. Before that date, POP3 access has been made available for all Hotmail accounts. At any time it was not possible to access Hotmail email clients accounts. There is no bug involved here, nor in HTTP format or anything else.

Windows Live Mail is built to use a different former WebDAV protocol; DeltaSync protocol allows the synchronization of e-mail folders, contacts, and calendars between client and server.

You may be able to download the installer for Windows Live Mail 2011 of this page: How to install Windows Essentials while offline? Do not try to include Windows Live Writer or Messenger in the installation; None of them will work and you can gum up toward the top of the entire installation Essentials if you do. It may be better to stick to one mail at first. Windows Live Mail 2011 is the latest version which runs on Vista.

  • Windows mail and e-mail recived incorrect account.

I have several different 'accounts' within windows mail and each with a different e-mail address for use by the members of the family separated.
Everything works fine because they have been implemented, but now an account has not reciving e-mail & mail addressed to another account is displayed with respect to another person (despite the Envoy to... address by post being correct)

This is starting to drive me crazy because no one knows what email is for whom, without them open & read the Envoy at the address on the mail.

t-4-t, no rules set up & tried to scan e-mail out, no joy.   As I said that everything has worked well since the implementation (over 12 months), but 2 days ago, this problem started without warning.

Did you reboot after you turn off the option to e-mail analysis?

    Opportunity:
The account that stopped from receiving and sending could have been damaged. Delete this account, recreate the account.
See if that helps. Note: you do not want messages from accounts and other backup before deleting the account.

If still no go, I can only suggest you install Windows Live Mail which is supposed to replace Windows Mail anyway.
