  If you set your configuration of the task preceding / dependants, you should only need to put State set up on the last task then. In this way, is not in a State of service until the end.

  I'm working on IOM 9g and the other user who is active in AD and user created by the AD console.

  Now, I am trying to reconcile the same user in IOM. I run AD target Recon task, but the user AD resource is still commissioning (instead of configured). I changed the search query and re run the recon task of Ad target, and you end up without success. Also checked the time stamp for the user created and AD targeting Recon task (the user has been created in AD on 2012)

  Could someone help me please to what all the attributes you must check for this problem?

  Hey, Rebecca.

  You can check the task associated with the insertion of reconciliation & updated in the AD workflow. I hope that the status of the task in two tasks, on 'C' that is Completed is mapped to commissioning, you must change the status map.

• OIM 11g - reconciliation of the status of resource target

  We work closely with IOM 11.1.1.5.2 and DBUM 9.1.0.4 and MSAD 9.1.1.7.
  Commissioning and reconciliation seem to work fine, but we found that the State of the resource is not be compared on the console of the IOM.
  
  For example, if supply us a user with an account of Oracle database, then lock the account on the database, when we run the reconciliation, the event is generated and finished with 'update succeeded', we go to the UD_DB_ORA_U table and find that the UD_DB_ORA_U_LOCK field has a value "BLOCKED." , then if we check the newspapers, we can see that the connector is properly mapping the State of resources with purpose of IOM status:

  But, even if reconciliation succeeded the administration shows console account status "Enabled" and when I check the table Ouedraogo, I see that the status of an object of the IOM is always enabled.
  
  
  I found a few discussions on this issue, the closest was this one: reconciliation for users deleted on the target resource accounts but all it doesn't seem to be a great help because all the tasks described are already carried out by the installation of the connector (at least in the msad and dbum connectors).
  
  This problem occurs both Active Directory and Oracle database users, maybe we missed something but based on the documentation for both connectors, we thought it was a STANDARD feature. Is there some setting of the connector or the property of the system, that we have to configure to make it work?

  It should work OOTB. No need to write an adapter for it.

  Don't see you not received update reconciliation task inserted into the details of the profile of the users of resources? You have changed the status of the object mapping task in this task? It must be set to NONE.

• Restoration of a session shows that the empty tabs, even with opening last tab closed

  I opened a link of Trillian in the middle of a session with the add-on from loading Session Manager, and now none of my sessions you show anything when I start Firefox or when I reload a session using the Session Manager. The number of tabs, which is in charge of the session is correct, that none of them have anything except new tab and nothing in it.

  In addition, the list of closed tabs is not updated, or when I load the session using the Session Manager, trying to open a closed tab will open a new empty tab and turn this entry in the list of tabs in a blank tab.

  Error console shows this when I open any page:

  Also, Session Manager saves the correct titles and URLs of tabs when it records in its external memory, even if they are "white", so I suspect that the problem is something that prevents writing a file in my Firefox profile, but I don't know what or how to fix it.

  OK, I managed to fix it myself, so I'll post what I did here:

  The problem has been caused by TabMixPlus which also has its own session manager, so I had to reinstall this addon.

  I also had to disable/re-enable each addon and delete all my cookies/cache because of some other strange issues which occurred, but one who reads this may not be no need to do so if they have other problems.

• (How) are queued not reentrant VIs?

  I have one COM port used RS485 multidrop to 17 different items, different parts (simultaneous loops) of my LabVIEW program want to talk with the different pieces of the kit attached to the RS485 communications.  But given that a physical on the PC port, I used a single VI (duration continuous) to fight against it, any part of my program that wants to use the port makes a request in a queue, then the port service VI transaction RS485 and puts the response in a taxfiler data (request queued had included an 'applicant' ID for the routine of service RS485 knows what notifier wants the answer).

  And everything works great, but...

  Since then, I started to use functional Global Variables and therefore much better understand the concept of reentrancy (or not).  Now, I'm wondering why I've bothered with all the queues and the authors of notifications!  If I just let the (called from anywhere and everywhere) VI running RS485 transactions marked as non-reentrant, surely it would have been nice in any case, any part of my program that wants to use the port when it is in use will have to just wait of (almost) the same way.

  It occurs to me that perhaps gives my use of queues more greater predictability of the order in which applications are processed, but so far I can't find information on how many non-reentrant calls to a VI are served.  that is not reentrant VI works for each 'call' in the same order calls came, or does it have its own idea on priority where two or more additional calls are made while he is busy?

  That the thread is then placed in the queue of resources so when the resource is relased, then next in the queue should lead poped off the power of the given stack the mutex and then placed in the "queue of calculation" and is scheduld as the operating system determines.

  There are a lot of non-deterministic questions coming into the game.

  If the thread 2 and 3 try to get EI while thred 1 uses it, then it comes down to which of these two asked for the resource first wil determine where they end up in the queue of resources.

  Also acfter get the mutex, the Scheduler of the operating system could (or at least it used) son out of order process, if it determines a thread does not receive the attention it deserves.

  So if the order of operations is important and you already if she had thought of using queues, then (brace yourself) you can revert to the version of the queue.

• No data when using custom as a widget in the custom user interface relationship.

  VCOps 5.7.2 is the version we accounts. We use "personal relationship" as a widget to monitor specific resources. But all resource objects are in a State of unkonwn after configuration and selecting the type of resource. It's a little strange because the same resource objects are OK in relationship VC widget. Is there something wrong in the configuration? Thank you!

  You see "?" State of resources because you have not configured entirely this widget. You have added ResourceKinds as a third party, but you still have to select the parameters that will be used for the 'Workload' category or metric. The needs of each level to be selected, and then select "change metric Mapping ', then select a metric for the"Workload"category and assign limits yellow, orange, red. Remember, it is a custom widget so that you can put "ANY" metric to display for the ResourceKind you are editing.

• Back up the DB JAR when either the node is down

  For our production to 2 CARS DB nodes, I had configured backup RMAN to Node1 using cron. Last weekend our Node1 went down. Our SMS notification system that sends SMS alerts to our mobile went down the weekend as well. Just before lunch on Monday, we had that Node1 is broken and there is no backup for Saturday and Sunday.
  
  How can I make sure that the RMAN of the DB Backup is taken even if one of the nodes down? My friend suggested Planner IBM TWS. May Planner working Tivoli detects a CCR node dead and fire RMAN backup from the surviving node?

  I don't know the answer about the SSC, but if you run the backup from crontab, I guess you do not have now any 3rd third-party tool.
  I think the easiest solution will be to have the script task and crontab on both servers and decide that running the backup.
  For example, the script that is provided in the crontab will do:
  1. If $HOSTNAME is node1 run the backup. If $HOSTNAME is node2, check if the Node1 is in place and if not run the backup.
  2. it is more elegant, check the "State crsctl resource" for something and run the backup as a result. For example, the script checks where SCAN1 VIP is located, and it is the node that will be held in the backup.

  CPU goes to 100% svchost State takes all the resources. Norton can not find any illegal software. Have tried to list the processes (run... etc.). I get a long list, don't know what to do about this. Anyone out there have some help?

  The same problem here. :( A universal solution is unknown to me but what I do is from the Task Manager. When svchost shows more than 90% of its use I simply stop this stupid process. After having done that, I can use my laptop without any problem and it will not happen again.

  After restarting the laptop, the same thing happens again. I checked some other forums but never found no reasonable explanation how manage this stupid question.

  If someone knows more please let us know.

  First of all that I must say I just starting with control of the instrument using Labview. For this reason, it is possible that the problem I have is easy to solve. However, I am looking for any solution for the forum, but unfortunately I can't fint anything.

  While the situation is this: I'm looking to plug a power Analyzer (Yokogawa WT1800) with the PC through GPIB. To achieve this, I use the USB/GPIB Interface of Agilent 82357 B. The connection is done correctly because I can see and communicate with him through the Explorer NI MAX.

  In order to achieve control of the instrument using Labview, I downloaded and installed the driver of Yokogawa WT1800 (Driver instruments ykt1800) using the NI Instrument Driver Finder tool. The problem I have is that when I run the examples, I find the following error message:

  I try to open a com port Seraglio in LabVIEW get this error:

  It occurs in ISA set up a Serial Port (Instr) .vi and seems to be related to the speed of transmission. If I use anything else than 9600, I get this warning. I need to use 115200. I can open successfully to other com ports at 115200.

  I am able to talk to this device using other Terminal programs to 115200 without problem. It is only through LabVIEW and NI MAX.

  The Unit presents itself as "Stellaris Virtual Serial Port (COM12)" in deveice Manager.

  Is there a way to get around this?

  I'm trying to backup of a domain controller with the syncsort backup software. Currently when I try to run a backup job job errors. I worked with the support of syncsort and have located the question to be a vss of NTDS writer. After the reboot the box, everything seems fine but if I try to run a task, that the particular author (NTDS) States that it is "out of resources." I'm not sure whats causing this or how to check. Any help would be thank you very much!
