• Bootcamp (Win7) missing after upgrade to El Capitan

  My iMac early 2009 (one of the 4 Macs in my office) has lost his Boot Camp partition after upgrade to OS 10.11. the 1 TB drive keeps 783 GB as Untitled in disk utility, but the icon is missing from the office and it does not appear in the start window options.  I don't want to wipe o as Win 7 teacher was OEM and I Revit and Autocad licenses on it.  I can do something so he relocated it?  I have the same problem with my Macbook Pro of retina.

  Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

  1 are you referring to the "documents" folder in Windows thelibrary?

  2. did you check the exact location of the folder "documents" in Windows 7?

  3. from which operating system you have upgraded to Windows 7?

  4. have you received an error during the upgrade to Windows 7?

  Method 1:
  

  As was the Document and Settings folder in Windows XP Pro in Windows 7 does not have access to any user, as it is a protected file. The folder you're talking has now been replaced in Windows 7 with the USERS folder. And you can also access the folders of documents in libraries. You can search the documents folders in C:/Users/user_name.  If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

  Method 2:

  $INPLACE. ~ TR and $WINDOWS. ~ Q are leftover folders created by Windows during the upgrade process, if there is no error while upgrading files may be saved in these files.

  Individual records will be hidden by default and you can view the folders to view the folders. You can look in the C: drive.

  Here's another interesting event. I use sleep mode all the time, that's what happens "when I close the lid. After upgrade Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 RTM, "standby mode" is not found. "when I close the lid" and related parameters in power management have an empty selection, sleep does not appear in the drop-down list of choices. It seems revenue to "Put to sleep" by default. By reading the other Windows 10 forums I know sleep is supported in Windows 10, how can I get that back? I tried to download and install the latest driver for power management (as dated 17/07/2015, I think) but I get the message that "you already have a newer version of the driver installed", I cancelled out of the facility. I can shoot with Microsoft Basic Display Driver (3200 x 1800 only, see my other ad in the forum), although I used a different resolution in Windows 8.1 and hibernate instead of mode 'sleep', but I hope that these features will work soon.   The 'My Favorites' menu link is a file and not a page or an ARB.  Security cannot be granted to a whitelist so that it can automatically view the 'My Favorites' folder in the left menu.  The delivered permission related to the 'My Favorites' folder list is PTPT1000.  If the granting of permissions to users this list gives too much access, a list of custom permission to provide this access.

  To grant access to Favorites Add and change the links under 'My Favorites' do the following:

  1. the list of custom permission must grant full access to the PORTAL_ADMIN menu Security page PORTAL_EDIT_FAV and hardware PORTAL_ADD_FAV.

  2. go to PeopleTools-> Portal-> Structure and content-> hidden tools.  In this case, there will be two Csrsfi: 'Add to Favorites' and ' change favorite.  In these two, make sure the custom permission list shows under the tab 'security '.  It should be here, because access was given through the permissions list.

  3. navigate to PeopleTools-> Portal-> Structure and content.  Click on 'Edit' on the record 'My Favorites '.  Look at the Security tab and make sure that the custom permission list shows here.  If it is not the case, you must manually add the list of permissions.

  One of our updates have a very unusual problem. Our applications everything will work perfectly, but the generator screens are empty, or at least appear empty. The source of the page looks normal in a browser, except we are seeing that the image paths are all poorly trained. They all lack the directory ' / ' final after the 'i' of the images.   Well, I have an older (21.5 "iMac late 2009) and increasing problems with Chrome and Firefox to complain that my system was outdated, I finally put to El Cap.

  Then I tried to open iPhoto. Now I've been through the process at least a dozen times, so I don't know what went down the first time, except that he insisted that iphoto was also obsolete and I needed to update.  So I did.   You can see the iPhoto library uses, if you ctrl - click on the title "iPhoto" in the title bar of the iPhoto window.
