  Journal in the workspace, and then in the Hyperion menu select file/new/Document;

  The task selection chose 'Batch planning reports', and then click Next;

  Then add the reports you want (very similar to the creation of a book), and then click on finish

  Now you are ready to plan the newly created batch: in Hyperion menu, select navigate/Planner/Batch Scheduler;

  I googled like crazy, but I can't seem to find anything like that, but the period start and end parameters. When I go in the settings of SDRS to the planning application, there is no option to set the 'last period of time."

  Seems that you won't put perspective preview so you can not choose a period, in the workspace, go to file > Preferences > Financial Reporting, set an excerpt to it.

  I just installed Win 10 (64-bit) on my desktop and I want to install/update the drivers on my computer because my internet on it is a little wonky (and in general I want to update the drivers anyway). However, when I go to the page "Software and drivers" and enter my name/type of product, I get a message saying "we have found the drivers for your product. Drivers may be in development, so please check back at a later date or visit the product home page. ». There were drivers available here yesterday. How long this change usually take? Can someone help me find the drivers of the template from another computer that might work for my computer? Thank you!

  It looks like all the drivers, specifications and manuals are missing from the pages of support again.

  This happened earlier in the week also.

  Another Member of the forum has reported the problem to administrators forum, which will be in touch tour HP, but since I am not employed by, nor do I represent HP, I don't know how long it will take to restore the missing data to the support pages.

  Whether the weekend will not help much either.

  I get the problem while developing new relationships, if I have examples of reports that I have studied the corresponding reports. I don't get detailed information from the database to create query and get the desired result. As I have not idea of detail of this database structure in it.
  So I need help to create the query as I am new on this database.
  If anyone understand please give me help or link where I can build the report

  I recently changed my motherboard and processor because my old card mother and fried CPU. I had Windows 8 Pro (64-bit) installed earlier, an upgrade to Windows 7 (64-bit). As soon as I started first of all, I got a notification asking me to re - activate my Windows but when I try to activate it with my original key, I get this error: "the activation server reported that the product key has exceeded its limit of unlocking".

  I tried to activate by phone, but instead connect to the automated system, I keep to redirect to voicemail after a few rings. Can someone help me to activate my Windows again? I'm in Karachi, Pakistan.

  The report shows that it is been activated previously, but that the material has changed considerably since the activation - hence the request for reactivation.

  Not too surprising if you traded motherboards. :))

  Telephone activation is definitely the way to go - but it's in the lap of the gods (i.. activation e. operator the MS) as to if they will allow it if the original Win7 installation was an OEM.

  My belief is that they will allow him - of some people hold that they will not :)

  Standard production deployment is OBIEE + WLS on servers of one (or several), with the database repository and the database of data from reports on separate computers. For a sandbox environment they can all sit on the same. SampleApp is an excellent place to start with OBIEE.

• RDBMS for Hyperion Essbase server change

  We installed and configured 11.1.2.2.100(Essbase, EIS, Studio, Services partagés) on Windows 2008 32-bit server successfully.

  Everything went well and all the products work.

  Now, we have changed the RDBMS for Hyperion Essbase server and ran the configuration once more with the new RDBMS server with option "reuse existing tables.

  We have seen users of Shared Services. All users are able to connect to Shared Services, EAS but problem with Essbase.

  In the table of HSS_Component is the old name of the server in two places, we have updated the old name of DB server on behalf of current server DB.

  When we try to access essbase we get the below error (tried with the host name, ip address, EssbaseCluster1 as the Essbase server)

  Error network [10061]: unable to connect to [Server Name: 1423]

  Error: 103: unexpected error Essbase 1030818

  Error: 1042006: error network [10061]: unable to connect to [[servername]: 1423]

  Error: 1030818: failed to connect. Please check if the server and port are correct. If you have received failure timeout or handshake.

  Please check if you tried to connect to a secure Word keyless secure port or disable port with the secure key word.

  Please help me solve this problem.

  It is extremely important that you know what you are doing before you touch the registry of shared services and the correct way is to not update the tables, is to use the epmsys_registry utility.

  To be honest you can have messed up the registry and it is something I will not get involved in, try to talk with Oracle, what you just did.

  If it is only the name of the RDBMS server change (not the essbase server) then you must follow the instructions in the documentation - change shared Services and connection of database registry and the password information

  A few days ago I too had the same concerns and had a Word with the support of Oracle.
  They said that 9.3.1 is better support for Java 1.4 only. He can go with Java 1.5, but some bugs are reported for the same thing. As their level 1 support ended for version 9 don't they release patches for the same.

  My client had faced problems when using Web Analytics when it has updated Java 1.5 on the client machine. And also the Oracle had asked to downgrade my version of java 1.5 to 1.4 on application server web for some other question of web analytics.

  Everything you requested has different strengths and weaknesses.
  What kind of things are important to you?
  Is low-cost important?
  Is high performance important?
  High availability is important?
  You have an internal IT team that can support a complex environment?

  Depending on how you answer these kinds of questions can really prepare for this type of infrastructure to look at.

  SAN / NAS - may be good for the integrity of the data but not so great for the performance. For pure performance look at PCI DSS solutions for example IO Fusion and the new Intel card.
  Cloud - cloud would not recommend at this time for a production application. For Amazon, specifically, you can see their 1-2 days downtime that happened every year for the past two years. Oracle is still refining their cloud solution.
  Hosted Hyperion - if you do not have a strong internal IT team then certainly look for example hosted solutions Oracle-On-Demand, Secure 24...
  Virtualization - Performance optimal as many hearts as you can afford – 64-bit 11.1.2.2 Essbase can support up to 128 cores in a calculation - this means that if you have lots of users and lots of complexity, you cannot evolve with virtualization. Generally, you are limited to 32 cores with the best virtual classroom platforms.

  I'm on a date limit to change a feature film (01:27 long). It's a job home with, unfortunately, not a lot of knowledge on Premiere Pro. It must be sent in MPEG2-DVD (which I don't know how to do).   The telecine like a 4:3 letterbox wasdone: that's why you see black bars in the capture window. However, the transfer to the band (or perhaps the capture of original sequences by the transfer device) has reported that 16:9; First recognizes that flag, and that is why the video is stretched in the capture window. Since it's DV, it is not really important. Just capture it as - is and then right click on the AVI file captured, select Modify > interpret footage and all the pixels to Conform to D1/DV NTSC format (. 9091). He will perform the 4:3 images, and the aspect ratio is correct. There will be bars from mailbox to mailbox, but those who are already in the images. You can get rid of them, but you'd have to blow up the images and lose resolution, then I'd say just leave as is.

  Once you have done so, just drop it into a sequence of NTSC DV (not widescreen) and change there. From there, you can export some way that you see fit. MPEG-2 DVD is fine as long as the other company is just doing the DVD authoring, but if they do no editing more far, you probably want to just export to tape to maintain the highest quality.

  SSL is secure socket layer. The EMP security guide mentions the steps to do this correctly. It is not necessary to have Hyperion function correctly.

  It is required if the client wants that all communications between the encrypted EPM system.

  This is a more complex configuration to configure SSL. Some companies use load balancers in front of EMP to encrypt all traffic.
