  So I just bought a HP ENVY 750-197c desktop computer and the first thing I did when the establishment was downgrade 10 Windows of Windows 8, which worked very well. However, now I am not able to detect the connections/connect to WIFI on the computer. I guess it's because I need to update or get the correct drivers. However, I can't know which ones I need. When I look at the Download Center here on the site and go to the list of drivers for this model of computer, there is no option to select the drivers for Windows 8. Instead, there are only options for Windows 7 and Windows 10. How am I supposed to download the right drivers, I need? Which?

  It seems that my phone is not listed, or I can't find it in the support section for drivers.

  According to specification for laptop, your laptop comes with Windows preinstalled 8.1 64 bit so what you need to do is to reinstall the original recovery image that contains all the necessary drivers.

  When you say you have installed Win 8.1 from disk, does that mean exactly?
  Did you install your own OS version or the original version of Win8.1 recovery disk created?

  What operating system?  If you use Windows 7 or Vista, then for 64-bit systems, you can Download the XP x 64 drivers from here, then unzip the files into a new folder.  Then go to the file devices and printers, add a printer, select the appropriate port, and then select "Have disc" and point to the folder where you unzipped the files.

  For the 32-bit version of Vista or XP, use the standard XP drivers.

  Some assignments in the past I've understand that Win7 drivers cannot be used with Win8 so you have to wait until Toshiba starts Win8 support for all models of laptops.   I recently bought a Pavillion dv7 6140eo and even if I am a user of long date of HP laptops and satisfied, I'm not a fan of sw pre-installed with all the accessories. So, I plan to do a re-install with my Windows 7 but cannot locate the necessary drivers for my laptop. Although the model is listed on the HP Web site, browsing through the drivers section, I simply can't find this particular model, regardsless of the weather, I'm looking for using the id of the model or product-not.
