SteelSeries wow mmo mouse driver problems

I can't get my mmo wow mouse series steel works with windows 8. It says on here that it's compatible, but I can't make it work. I tried everything I can think of any suggestions?

I tried to uninstall and reinstall each for compatibility and as an administrator without success patterns as well as execution of the installation. I guess I'll have to wait for the series steel release an official record of windows 8, but I really don't want to wait, I grew very used to extra buttons.

I had the same problem. Apparently the drivers are NOT actually be installed by the software. You must go to the folder of the software in /Program Files(x86) Steelseries, world of Warcraft MMO Gaming Mouse/Driver7x64 folder and run the program DPInst.exe to install the appropriate drivers. Once I did I had all the features of the mouse, including the settings of colors and lights.

I always change the compatibility settings for run as administrator so and changed the security settings on all 3 of the mouse programs to allow full access to all users.

I'll try to keep it as simple as possible for maximum understanding.

It's the mouse I. It has 15 buttons. Two of these buttons are used to windows mouse buttons 4 and 5. of course, the two main buttons are left click and right click. but all the other mouse buttons serve as buttons on the keyboard, and it's VERY embarrassing when it comes to the key combination of spells and attacks because it will take buttons away something I already linked to something on the keyboard. How can I get the rest of the buttons on the mouse to resemble the mouse 4 and 5 and have their own number of mouse button? by example, button mouse 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and so on, to make the keybinding much easier if they are considered separate buttons instead of keyboard shortcuts.

    Hi Precision,

I'm not aware of a way to make this work.

It seems to be a hardware limitation.

  • -Portege Z10t 13 V graphic driver problems and lag with W10

    Hello

    Please excuse my bad English,

I just bought the Z10t A 13V PT 141, with W8.1. This computer works fine on W8, but I want to install W10. I already tried 3 times but each time, the cursor (with the touch pad or mouse) is lagging behind, each movement is jerky and works very well. I tried to see if it was a driver problem and downloaded new drivers from Toshiba for the W10.

I did the same thing with Intel drivers, but for graphics drivers, there is an error message: "a custom computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel driver update utiliy is not able to update the driver. Install a generic Intel driver instead of the driver from the computer manufacturer custom can cause technical problems. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.

When I'm with W8, drivers are correctly updated...

So I think that the cursor problem is due to this driver problem (I hope so, but I'm not sure). What is the solution? I'M alone with this problem?

    Thank you

    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,.

EXACTLY the same problem here with my uograded Portege Z10t-A-140 to WIN 10.
I also took the same steps and encountered the same problems and no solution.
I find Toshiba after sale customer VERY INEFFECTIVE and disappointing, because it seems no way to get a support PROFESSIONAL from Toshiba on this issue (or any other for that matter).
Note that I absolutely do not consider helping other users on a forum or self-help a form of professional support at all!
    -> Not happy with Toshiba!

    Hello:

You need the driver for the base system device JMicron card reader.

The media JMicron card reader driver allows the card slot multimedia integrated in the laptop models running a supported operating system.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63637.exe

This would be the only issue that I can help you.

You need to contact HP technical support to get a sort of BIOS file they will send you to unlock the BIOS P / w.

I forgot what they call it.  Explain the situation... you need to unlock/reset the BIOS password you forgot.

There is a history tab of revision on the file of the mouse driver that displays the newer versions you may want to try...

  • CONFIGURATION OF THE COMFORT MOUSE 4500 PROBLEM

Recently had to do a fresh install of the operating system.  Windows XP x 64.  Have Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500.  Installed the last service pack.  Have now the configuration problem trying to install the mouse driver.  Installation of Intellipoint 6.3 for Windows XP (64-bit) IS NOT LIST Comfort Mouse 4500 as an option to select.  I know it's courable on this operating system, as I had before the recent new facility I run.  Previously, I actually got an automatic update of the Windows Update driver for this mouse (under my previous installation).  Have not yet received the driver update.  How can I find and install it myself?

What exactly is the 'configuration problem' here?

Uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers to see if that does the trick.

Alternatively, you could wait and search automatically updates via Windows update, since you said that you have previously received an update.

I had two toshiba laptops satellite. On one, the hard drive went bad, the other liquid has been spilled, and the keyboard in ruins. Initially, it appeared, it would work without a problem, but I device driver problems.  First of all, it is audio and video.  When I updated the driver audio and restarted, Syntec PS / 2 touchpad no longer works. I tried (using the keyboard only) for updating the touchpad driver, but ultimately it fails with the message "the operation requires an interactive window station.  Then I tried to install a USB Microsoft Intellipoint mouse, it seems that the driver will be installed, but I had to use the keyboard to accept the terms and conditions. Then it errors "Setup was unable to install a required component: Microsoft Application Error Reporting." Restart your computer and try running the installer again. I think you have a problem with the hardware at this point with the map his and your case it is a card that is integrated directly into the motherboard. • The mouse driver and Touchpad Driver for Dell Studio laptop will not work with Vista

I just bought a Dell Studio laptop at new years 2009 with the Vista platform.   I had nagging problems with the mouse driver and the touchpad pointer that were completely related software.  These questions were returning back over the months and months.   I've owned about 10 PCs since 1989 and I've never had a bad result like this.   My wife and I have lost 20 to 30 hours of our time looking after him.   This could have the Vista operating platform?   I suffered so much that I made my decision to seriously consider the range of Apple computers.   At this point, I lay the responsibility for the drivers who did not also work on Microsoft and Dell.  20 - 30 hours can go a long way in learning the OS from Apple.    I am a professional project management and professional engineer and can't believe that something as basic as the mouse driver and the driver of the Touchpad was a goner at the launch of the computer screwup.   I guess that the validation of test have been ignored.  I have never been madder with any computer I've owned.  I learned a lesson from this.   Do not trust Dell or Microsoft in the manufacture of new products.  As far as I know Apple users don't get treated this way.

Sorry, but I really cannot speculate more what happens - or go - with your computer without being able to see the machine. It's the first time, you mentioned a bluetooth mouse and that you have installed the drivers three times. Certainly a bad image would not apply in this case. There are probably other things that pass only someone actually looking at the machine would be able to discern.

However, since this is a new laptop and you are unhappy with it, return it under warranty and buy something else. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to help you. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • I need to repair or update my mouse driver.

I get messages saying that my mouse driver is outdated. How to update or download a new one. I tried several times but my conputer freezes in half way through. My computer also works very slow. I still have plenty of room in the memory. I ran 4 different anti-virus and the hard ware programs all say no virus.

I hope you can help me.

    Hello

1 have had modifications made to your computer before the problem occurred?

    2. is it a laptop or desktop?

    3. who is the manufacturer of the computer, and what is the model number of your computer?

I suggest you follow the troubleshooting steps and check if this helps you fix the problem on your computer.

    Method 1:

I suggest you run the wizard of hardware troubleshooting on Windows 7 and check if there are errors in using the hardware on your computer.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

If method 1 does not help in the issue of the attachment on your computer, follow method 2.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to download the driver from the computer manufacturers.

You can also view the latest updates to driver using your Windows Updater.

Click Start, all programs, Windows Update and search for available updates.

    Method 3:

The computer in the boot and a test

Follow step 1 in the link below,

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service. After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.

Note: When you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns.

I hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions on this subject.

  • Cannot install the USB mouse driver

I recently bought a simple mouse, wired Plug-and-Play, but when I connected it to my computer, nothing happened before or after that the computer said that it had installed the drivers for it. Thinking that there was something wrong with the mouse, I tried to connect another computer and it worked without any problem. I searched for possible solutions to this problem, and one of these solutions was to go to Device Manager and uninstall all drivers under USB controllers. Then I restarted my computer and plugged in mice that had not been detected before, and I could move the cursor autour for a little while until Windows has started looking for drivers. Then it stopped working again and I was unable to use it.

I also tried to delete the driver under the mouse and other pointing devices, but it does not solve this problem either.

  • 'The installer does a not install automatically the mouse driver.  This driver must be installed manually. »

I just installed VMware Workstation 7.1.3 and when I upgraded VMware on a Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 guest tools, I received the following error message:

The Setup program has not automatically install the mouse driver.  This driver must be installed manually.

Everything seems to work fine and there is no problem, indicated in the Device Manager.  My mouse driver (i.e. the VMware pointing device) is v12.4.0.6 and is dated 17/11/2009.

Someone else has encountered this and is there a solution for this?

Note that VMware Tools installed in Windows Server 2008 R2 x 64 with no problems.

    Rob

Microsoft install (MSI) is a strange thing, these problems occur.

The best way to update the VMWare Tools is to delete (and all other Windows drivers too), then install the new version.

There is no solution to your problem.
