Windows Update was updated and the system was arrested by mistake. When the system is turned back on, the update process began in stage 3, goes to 50% then completed, he stops, stops, restarts and returns to step 3, States repeats the process over and over again in a loop.
What are my options?

I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.
This exit Windows updates on (after you have access) and stop the updates of the driver to load.

I recently had some work to my computer and when I came back, my Adobe suite has been uninstalled.
What steps should I take to re - install / checking the codes etc?
Reinstall from the original with the original serial number disks. There is a good chance it will work. If she says "too many activations", you must contact Adobe.
Please be aware that this is a public forum and all information that you post can be seen by the world. It's often a bad idea to post the serial numbers, because they can be stolen and Rob you of what you paid for. (Less a matter of concern for the machine numbers, but a real problem for the software). There is nothing that we can do your series of Sony or the serial number, only Sony could use it.

Windows Vista Home Premium update problem step 3 of 3-100% complete
My Windows Vista Home Premium began the automatic update, reached the point of view "Configuring updates: stage 3 of 3-100% complete.". Do not turn off your computer. »
Now he's just running for hours with this screen showing...
I can't say if this update will end finally alone, or if there is a problem and I should just reboot.
How long should I wait before abandoning me and shut down the computer?
Thank you.
Hi JIB1955,
Thank you for visiting the forums of answers.microsoft.com.
It's been a while, we can think that the update is stuck and will not continue any further. You can press Ctrl, Alt & Del and open Task Manager. You should see the update on the Application tab, and you can select it and press end task.Click on the start ORB > Control Panel > programs and features, on the left, select view installed updates and see if the update that was being Setup finished installing. If it does not have and does not appear on the list, you can restart your computer and try to install the update mode without failure.
To do this, restart your pc and even if your pc is booting press the key F8 on your keyboard to enter the Advanced Boot Options menu. On the Advanced Boot Options menu, select Safe Mode and press ENTER.Your computer will boot mode safe by using only the basic drivers and services, hopefully allowing Windows Update to complete the installation of the update, you are having problems with.

I have Windows Vista. I can't the Windows Defender to stay lit. I went to tools, options, real-time protection, save & even restarted my computer. Am I missing something? I did it several times even. Then every time I check to see if it is on it says it's off. Help! My computer needs it. Thanking you in advance for your help.
Hello
If you use Norton, AVG, Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials, McAfee, etc. the default action is for Windows Defender must be disabled, that these AntiVirus programs have their own Antispyware Applications.
There is nothing to worry.
Using both programs at the same time can cause system conflicts, etc.
If you are using one of the above AntiVirus programs, this Information from David O - Support Engineer shows you how to manually enable Windows Defender (disregard information from uninstalling; not possible in Vista):
"Go to start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Look for Windows Defender.
Right click and select Properties , ensure that Startup Type is automatic.
Once modified, click apply and OK.
Quit and restart your computer. Check the back take the same path to confirm that Windows Defender has started"
.
If you want to have additional protection against malware using the version FREE of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
And for now, change startup Vista programs without using Defender, use one of these methods:
"How to use MSCONFIG in Windows Vista"
http://netsquirrel.com/Msconfig/msconfig_vista.html
Or the program Autoruns for FREE:
"V11.21 Autoruns for Windows"
