  Unless you fully active 'find my Mac' BEFORE that your mac has been stolen, it can't do anything for you now. It is not active, and there is no way to make it active after the fact.

  The serial number is on the back. If you had to 'Find my Mac' before it was stolen then you can go to http://www.icloud.com and goto the page "Find my phone", however, the location will be calculated from nearby wifi networks and will be very rough. the Mac must also be on, not not wiped and able to connect to a network. If you have failed to 'Find my Mac' then it is impossible for the location. All you can do is to report it to the police.

  I'm sorry to hear that your MacBook is stolen. Unfortunately, you can't easily the location of your MacBook, if location services are disabled.

  The best thing you can do in this situation is the MacBook stolen from your local police. It is unlikely you will get it if you don't have the serial number or other specific details.

  I recently bought the PP as part of production premium & I have a question about reading.

  System Specs:

  end of 2009 21.5 "iMac 3.06 ghz core duo

  12 GB of ram

  1 TB internal hd 7200 RPM (project files and everything on the computer)

  1 TB ext hd fw800 7200 RPM (drive, also used for video storage cache)

  2 TB ext hd fw800 7200 RPM (make files reader, also used for video storage)

  ATI radeon hd 4670 256 MB

  This configuration is really fast and works very well when you work with images 1080i60 avchd (29.97 fps interlaced), although cela editing multicamera & effects.  However, when I try to video avchd playback 1080 p 60 (60 fps progressive), it is very jerky and very bad, even with the return that I find really strange. Are there settings I should change on my configuration to make it work better? Or if it's something related material, which is my weak link? Thank you very much!

  Core duo is the culprit. Even with a PC, which is much faster than MAC, it is miserably slow with this processor. Your source material requires the most out of your system, and it is not helped by the FW800 drives and your ATI card.

  The best Core duo PC-side system ranks # 350 + 393 systems, generally about 40 to 60 times slower than a fast system and it is with the PC. With MAC, it's even worse, so there's your culprit.

  Solutions:

  1. material usage which is easier to change, as SD DV, or

  2. get the best material, or

  3. accept the limitations of your system.

  I created a group of Photoshop using Extension Builder 1.5, the Panel works perfectly in the window, but when I switch to Mac, broken things. I found the SDK on Mac is unable to me the Document.fullName when I open an image file in the formats JPG/GIF/PNG, event with the workaround provided by Bob (tml http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Creative_Suite_Extensions_and_the_Photoshop_CS5_Re-17727.h( )

  Actually, it is not question of Photoshop event, is open a JPG of my disk image, click a button in my Panel that will get the activeDocument, then try to get the object File from it, the Document.fullName always null. However, if I open the image in the Photoshop folder installed, it looks very good.

  Hi Alan,

  I took the project I have included in my response to your other thread and changed it so that I can open a file, click a button and see the contents of app.activeDocument in the debugger. Then I open a JPG file and debugged to the extension in Photoshop.

  I figured out how to import a CD on ITunes and convert it to an mp3. Then copy it to the "rocket".

  But my problem is when I copy a song or an entire album, when I turn on the "rocket", it shows duplicate songs and duplicates are in the Unreconizable folder and do not work.

  This can become very confusing. Anyone has any ideas on how to import MP3s on a mac without getting these ghosts / duplicate files?

  If I can't understand, I guess I'll try to return it and get an IPod. No use to me like that.

  Help, please. I want to keep that player.

  Your problem is that you used the Finder to copy files to the player.  Who creates the files 'duplicate' which are really containing of Finder metadata files.  They lead the players nuts.

  I just installed 9 Captivate on my Mac, and it does not recognize the double click of the mouse to enter text in a title area.  Subtitle text works, but the text is not title.  I work in a reactive mode.

  Hello. I use Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 to make MP4s on a Mac. In the past, my Quicktime video Inspector would say the presentation of my MP4 was H.264. He will play on any computer.

  Recently, SOUL began to create MP4s who say that the format is AVC, H.264 not.

  You can try the H.264 Blu - ray format.  Please note that this format generates a video file and an audio file separately by default.  In order to generate a single file that contains the video and audio, you must use TS multiplexers on the tab "multiplexer".

• Switching to Macs - question of deactivation

  Apple are taking over my annoying Mac Pro tomorrow and should be replacing in the coming days with a new machine. I am preparing everything now, and I want to reinstall using Time Machine, once the new computer is here, but I was wondering what to do about Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 with regard to activation is concerned? Can I suspend or permanently disable on this old Mac Pro before I wipe the main drive? The two programs are also installed on an old iMac and I want to keep them there.

  Also on the issue of licenses, I have a Windows laptop and I wonder if I am able to run Lightroom on this computer as well?

  Sounds like the representative of Adobe needs of more training. Or it is confusing LR license with license of Photoshop.

  You can certainly install (and activate) LR on portable Mac and Windows, using the same serial number (cross-platform).

  I recently started with a MacBook Pro and have installed PS CS5. When the PS loaded on machines Win in the past, her entire program was 'content' in a single window. It looked like any other window program and I couldn't see through it. With CS % on my Mac, the program loads and works very well but loads such as multiple windows.
