  I suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below.
   
  Step 1:
  It can also be caused by a software application third party in conflict with the printer. I wish that you perform clean boot on your computer in order to eliminate conflicts of third party software.

   

  Note: Follow step 7 to reboot your machine as usual.

  Test the issue in a new user account.

  I am using a LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw with a wireless connection and a USB connection, for several years with my MacBook Pro, spanning several evolutions of the Mac OSX (Mountain Lion, Lion, Mavericks) without incident.

  Thank you for your constant perseverance on this issue.  I forgot my post here, until I received a notification today about your response to date.

  Curiously, I "stumbled" upon the cause of the problem recently, and he had NOTHING to do with the printer or the MacBook Pro OS X (recently updated to Yosemite).

  It turns out that the problem was in the PDF file that I was trying to print!  Periodically, I'll print PDFs to a particular Web site, and it is these PDF files - exclusively - who made the mistake of communication between the computer and the printer.  The problem with PDFs is unique to the Mac OS X, because I can print the exact same PDF files from my laptop running Windows without problem.

  I have no idea what the "Bug" in the East of PDF files... probably never is, but given that I can do what I need to do with a Windows laptop, my problem is solved.

  I contacted the Admin on the website where I was printing the PDF files they offer, to make them aware of the situation.

  I understand that you get a summary page of unexpected (and unwanted) document each time you print something from Word. Take a look at the following stop printing with document summary sheet. Scroll to the first suggestion following the issue. Later in the thread, fold it explains that the "desktop" button is simply the file tab now if you are using a version of Word, Word 2007 at least.   Try this procedure (Note: you must be an administrator to do so):

  1. click on the Start button.

  2. right click "My computer" on the left side, then select 'manage '.

  3. click on "Continue" to popup security message that appears.

  4. in the middle pane of the window that opens, double click on "Services and Applications".

  5. double-click on 'Services '.

  6 scroll to find "print spooler".

  7. right click and select 'Restart' (Note: make sure that you have not opened during this operation the printer print queue window).

  You should now be able to delete the print job (or it may have been deleted automatically).

• Installing the printer on Win 7 64 bit and D-Link DPR-1260 print server

  I have been using a print server D-Link DPR-1260 to my home network for more than 1 year. The computers were all run XP XP3 32bits. When I upgraded to WIn 7 64 bit, I have problem printer installation. Both printers are Samsung scx-4521 laser MFPS and laser color CLP-315. The drivers are already installed on my computer and I was able to print if they were directly connected via USB. I also could see DPR-1260 and the printer. But installation stopped, because it was not able to find the proper drivers. It's strange because I was able to print via USB. Help please. I have not upgraded other computers even though I only install the 32-bit version instead of 64-bit for others.

  I tried this fix as well, however it allows me to select the folder in which I think that the pilot is located inside.  Basically, it can not find the 64-bit driver... alternatives?
