HP Envy5530 cancels 3 pages in the print job.

I have looked at various other messages on this problem but have not seen a solution. I tried the suggestions in other posts, but they do not work.  I'm trying to print an 8-page document, using the wireless interface. At halfway through the three page, printing stops and the printer reports that it cancels the job. I'm running a Lenovo Ideapad with i3 processor and windows 8.1. Frankly; I don't think that this printer is suitable for usage and I will communicate to the supplier for a refund if a solution is found. Oh; and Yes, I put the paper size in the properties. I can print from my desktop Windows XP with USB. Kind regards.

Hello

I want to talk about the HP printer software:

From your desktop, click the HP Envy 5530 icon to open its software.

If it is not listed on your desktop, click the keys S on the keyboard to launch the search option and the Windows logo.

Type CV, and then click the HP Envy to open its software.

WOW! At least temporarily, my solution is press Setup (the key) right arrow to TOOLS #6 tab. type OK.
    Tab
(# 2) clean the print head. Hit OK. If all goes well, take a step back, let the process and be surprised. A second test may be necessary.
It works at least for a day. Maybe it's your solution.  Jesus is our only hope!

When you print pages web configuration of the default printer to print headers and feet. You can change what to print or you can remove the headers and footer, total... Before printing in Internet Explorer, click the file menu, print preview...  As I do on this page, the headers by default says 'Computer prints a page of description before the print job - Microsoft Answers' left and right is "Page 1 of 2". On footers is the URL of the page on the left and on the right date.

You can change this setting by clicking the file menu, Page Setup... on the dialog box layout under headers and footers you can change the settings you want. After making the changes click the OK button to close the box. Check the preview before printing if it suits you, and then you can proceed to print the page, the file menu, print...

  • Cancel the print job

Lets say I start a print job, but realize that it's more time that I waited and I just want to cancel the print job. How can I put an easy to get to the icon, link job etc command it is quickly available to cancel the job, rather than the 3-step process to go to printer, right click then click on Cancel. My Canon printer had an easy to get to the screen displayed while it was printing showing the progression of printing on a bar graph % of the complete work, and then a job box just cancellation there on the Info Panel. I REALLY miss this function on this HP 7520. I might have reconsidered the purchase if I knew that I had to jump through hoops to make a cancellation. I know that HP wants you to use more ink, but to cancel printing so "indisponibilitee" is the s pot! And or delete a print job

Hi @TJBarand welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you're looking how to cancel your print jobs.  I would like to help.

When printing on the front panel of your printer, you will see a large red 'X '.  This will allow you to cancel all print jobs by pressing X.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  • OfficeJet J6480 continue to feed the blank sheets after the last page of the print document then blocks.

When you print a document on my OfficeJet J6480, once the last page printed, the cradle of the cartridge moves back several times, then one or two white sheets feed through the printer. Sheets then another feeds and jams, requiring the duplexer to be deleted to clear the jam. This happens on 95% of the print jobs sent to the printer.

    Windows XP SP3

Unfortunately, the troubleshooting steps a false paper jam and find a real fundamentally the same.
I included a link to a document that is for a paper jam error. However, I'm sure you did 1st two solutions and if you please go above them, I want you to try, is the cleaning of the rollers and the duplexer and reset the products and checking the firmware to ensure that it is up-to-date. These solutions are listed in the order and you can find instructions step by step in this link for each step. Reset will be particularly important because it is one of the most effective tools to correct the problems of material with a printer. The alignment page will print until it completes successfully.  Try print a page of diagnosis as on the Six Solution on this page. Do all color printers correctly?  The alignment will fail if the parties in black and color do not print correctly.

  • Print the Test Page from the printer using prnqctl.vbs

Hello. I have a HP Deskjet D4360 printer. As is the case with the ink more cheap jet, the print heads printers dry if they idle too long, and the expensive ink cartridge will lose. This printer is connected to my computer via a USB cable and is not on the network.

What I want to do, it's automatically print a test page to the printer once per week. I want to this by setting up a task that calls prnqctl.vbs by using the following command:

cscript C:\Windows\System32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\prnqctl.vbs EI Pei "HP Deskjet D4300 series"

When I run (as administrator) command prompt and run this command, I see the following result:

Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.8
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Failure Print Test Page 5 Win32 error code

My understanding is that 'Win32 5 error Code' translates to 'access denied '. I checked the name of the printer is "HP Deskjet D4300 series", so this isn't the issue.

    For what it's worth, I use Win7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1.

Any ideas as to what can make it work? Thanks in advance.

  • Windows cannot recognize the printer after the print job is canceled

When I installed my printer Epson XP - 410 on my laptop Windows 7, the installation of program established three identical icons in the box "Show hidden icons" system tray, a 'Epson XP-410 series named' and others adding "(Copy 1) and (copy 2) that." It was not critical until today when I ran in the paper and cancelled the print job. Now rather than see the icon for XP - 410 as before, Windows Live Photo Gallery is only to see the icon (copy 2) and the properties of the printer selection under print settings is looking for a printer that does not exist, say is not ready, showing without ink, etc..  Anyone know how I can get Windows to recognize the printer that is there instead of look for one that is not there? I tried to customize under Show hidden icons, but when I change the status of the any icons, they change all three at once. Any help would be so appreciated...

Original title: duplicate icons in the box "Show hidden icons" in systray

    Hi Robert,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. What is the exact error message you get when you give the print command?
    2. You have related driver printer disks to install the printer?

The question may arise if the package of printer from the printer model driver is either not installed correctly or has been corrupted.

In order to diagnose and solve the problem, I would say, try the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Run the printer Troubleshooter and check if that helps. He made sure that a printer is connected to your computer, and it checks for common issues such as whether the printer has enough paper and toner to complete printing your document.

    Open the printer Troubleshooter

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

Try to uninstall and reinstall the last full have printer drivers and check if the problem persists.

Step 1: Uninstall the printer drivers installed in the system

    • Open programs and features, click Start > Control Panel > programs and features.
    • Find and select Epson printer drivers in the list of programs.
    • Click Uninstall and follow the instructions on the screen.
    • Reboot your system.

Step 2: Reinstall the printer drivers

Reinstall the latest drivers at the following link that is compatible with Windows 7.

    Epson XP-410

Hi John - thank you for your response. For the benefit of someone else who has this problem, I was able to perform a miracle. Went to Start - devices and printers, found three printers instead of one year, removed the two copies and who has also removed the two unwanted icons in the systray. Now, everything's fine. Hope this helps someone.  Thank you, Christian...

    Hi tommy61944,

I understand that you have a 8000 Officejet Pro which prints an alignment page after each print job. I'm sorry to hear what is happening, but I'll certainly do my best to help you.

I would suggest you have a look through this Alignment Page printed each print task, specifically the three Solution: print and evaluate a page impression diagnostic quality. Fact the print look page like the one in Figure 10: print a Page of Diagnostics quality? If not, that's why it keeps printing an alignment, a color can be print not correctly, or will need to be replaced. If your ink levels is all good, so maybe it's the printhead (s). You can clean the print heads manually and remove any buildup that could cause problems.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!
