  A few old machines will not recognize a USB keyboard/mouse until after Windows starts.  Look at the back of your computer and see if you have a PS/2 (round) connector for a keyboard and a mouse.  If you do, then you will need to use a keyboard with a round PS/2 connector or a USB-to-PS/2 adapter and plug the PS/2 connector on the back of your computer so that it recognizes the keyboard until Windows starts on your keyboard.

  The SATA driver applies to your hard drive.  A CD of start-up/installation of Windows XP does not recognize a SATA hard drive.  If you install Windows, you will need to hit F6 at the right time and insert a floppy with the SATA driver on this subject.

  Are you sure that your equipped G50 FM tuner to 100%?

  As I know a few models of G50 has been equipped with a tuner TV with antenna TV port that allows to connect a coaxial cable to this port to watch a TV program and then save.
  But as I said earlier, this feature is not included with all models of G50.

  Sorry, but I didn't find any info regarding the FM tuner.

  You posted in Windows XP} programs, so I'll assume that your client is the one with Windows XP.

  In the system area right of the task bar, please a KNCTR icon. Right-click and select stop. You should now be able to go to the XP of the Panel Add / Remove Programs and uninstall.

  You've done a good job answering my question.  Somehow, and I don't know how I did it I accidentally erased all the favourites I had accumulated for quite some time.  I have not found these missing Favorites in the trash that is where I would have expected to have. But that's another story and not a good thing.  I have so appreciated your efforts and I hope at some point I can get these favorites - wherever they are now.

  Bought my laptop at home about 3 years that came with windows 8. I've replaced the operating system with windows 7 that I hated the feel of windows 8.   Problem with the menu in Explorer windows (document e.i) bar it shows. It shouldn't be there, because the setting is unchecked under organize, layout and folder options click veiw always show menus uncontrolled. I can't hide the menu bar.

  eDataSecurity Management. This software MUST be installed (but does not
  to be initialized or setup) so that my solution work. Open an Explorer
  window, e.g. 'computer '. Right-click on an empty spot in the menu bar. You
  should see 'Acer eDataSecurity Management' is checked. Uncheck it. Now the
  menu bar should appear and disappear with the support of the [Alt] key.

  When I type the command 'ipconfig\registerdns' and all the commands ipconfig, and then press enter I always get "the system cannot find the path specified" I need help...

  First, you must open the command prompt by clicking on the icon and clicking Run as administrator (if not, you do not have access).

  Second, the command should read ipconfig/registerdns (note the space and the fact that the slash is going the other way).
