  Just checked that I have the same problem - it's none of my touch buttons work (mute/DVD/play/stop, etc.) and they stay on up - even when I turn off my laptop completely.

  As far as I know that I did nothing else except some windows update, that could have done it? I quite often use these buttons, so the question is rather awkward for me.

  Eventually MS updates confused something in your system.
  The buttons are controlled by the different applications that are part of the VAP.

  I think that you should remove the PPV of the system and should reinstall it again.

• HP DVD Play - Vista Media Center: blue border

  Hi, I have a HP Slimline s3330f media center (VMC) vista, running HP DVD Play (v2.42 build 5820).  He plays the Blu - ray.  I connected it to the TV via HDMI and I have audio digital (S/PDIF) goes directly from s3330f to my digital receiver.

  Discs Blu - ray play well as VMC when I select the item 'HP DVD Play' to the Ribbon of VMC.  The problem is that there is a blue border around the movie.  It's as if the movie does not play in full screen (it has a blue border of 2 ").  Now, I know that this blue border is the VMC screen in the background.  Also, as a test, I stopped VMC and launched HP DVD Play directly to play a blu - ray movie - it works perfectly.

  No idea how to get rid of the blue border (in other words, do read HP use DVD full screen when VMC is running)?

  Notes:

  Installation VMC - to use a big TV flat screen

  -VMC is configured as 1080i

  -nvidia drivers are installed at 1920 x 1080 resolution

  nvidia drivers - are configured to use HDTV 1080i (and I also tried 1080 p, 1080 p/24, same result).

  OK, I seem to have solved the problem.  However, I made a few changes and I don't know exactly what the change really solved the problem.  Here's what I did:

  -upgrade to the latest Nvidia drivers

  -deleted the Realtek audio drivers and reverted back to the default value of Microsoft HD Audio drivers (this, BTW, although DD 5.1 to work via S/PDIF)

  -implementation of the registry changes (see here: http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/278165.aspx )

  -re-installed HP DVD Play (latest version)

  I suspect it's the registry changes that solved the problem.

• Movie clip playing backwards using buttons?

  Im trying to create a series of images that scroll acoss the page left and right by using the arrows on each side of the stage. The arrows use the mouse over events to play a clip of the images back and forth.

  There are a few questions that I have. I have a mouse over and events in place to start and stop the clip on the different mouse buttons. However when playing the clip backwards with my current script mouse isn't doing anything just keep clip play backwards to the beginning. Once this has happened no button doesn't do anything.

  Another issue is once the clip played forwards, once altogether and I mouse over the arrow to even again button shortcuts to the beginning of the clip.

  Here's my current scrpit:

• Stop auto play of video in Safari on the Sierra?

  I upgraded to Sierra and I used to be able to use a fantastic extension called ClickToFlash, which would replace all the Flash on a web page with a white window and I would click above to load the Flash content.

  This extension does not work on Sierra I am looking for an alternative.

  In my view, there ClickToPlugin but after installing it, YouTube videos are all black screens and I do not see the drop down choices of media. So it seems that it is watered.

  I can't use Safari if I can't stop Auto playing every single video on each web page. Anyone know anything else?

  He can still work... try this.

  Open system preferences > Flash Player and select the Advanced tab, and then click clear all under settings and navigation data.

  Then quit and relaunch Safari and then test ClickToFlash.

  Installed Windows 7 (full installation, no upgrade).  Will not pick up a DVD playing for most of the time.  When the DVD is picked up and play, it is very choppy.  ATi Radeon 2400 HD - updated drivers.

• Windows Media Player 12 - Video DVD plays but the images are not displayed

  I have a DVD that we created with Adobe Encore.  It has a mixture of video and still images to a timeline.  I play this back on a new computer Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 12.  The DVD plays back fine until it reaches the fixed image on the timeline.  At that time the reading shows just the last frame of the video to the video portion.  The audio continues, but it does not show the image.  We tried multiple image formats, and nothing seems to work (.jpg, .tiff, .psd).  The video is very good reading but with CyberLink DVD player and on a standard TV/DVD player.

  Hello. I'm using Flash CS5 and our school teacher has asked us to do a simple project for this weekend but I had trouble so I don't know what to do. Want to create a flash animation and use the 2 buttons ch us. The one who stops the animation and the other who will play the animation. So this way the animation plays I can click on stop and then click play at random times and the animation will stop or play.

  I have a layer of buttons with 2 buttons on the same layer. One is called the beginning and the other is called stop. I have a separate layer with a clip that I created a mobile polygon that goes from one side of the screen to the other. After you have created the clip I double clicked on the subject and created my animation in the new viewer who displayed. Now, I clicked on stage 1 and it took back me to my main timeline.

  Finally, I have a layer actions with nothing but code. I made sure to type all my code by clicking on this 1 framework and go click actions. Then I typed in my code. Please note that each layer has only 1 frame that they were all published individually by double me clicking on the object.

  After inserting the code I I go to test the movie but get all these compiler errors. What I am doing wrong? Here is my code and errors that I keep.

  in the main scenario where you have your 3 objects, click your stop button.  on the contextual Control Panel affect the instance name, stop_btn.  Click on the play button and in the properties panel, set to stop_btn.  Finally, click on your polygon, and in the properties panel, set the polygon.
