stop or change desktop slideshow

same problem that Judith Mitchell has in his question titled "Disable wallpaper slide show in Vista" - slide show started alone, I can not stop or change.

I followed the reply by Azeez Nadeem - Microsoft Support until I got "(f). Set the slideshow under settings paper painted in the suspended state, and then click OK to save the changes. »

but there is no 'background settings screen' listed. The elements of list shows13, advanced settings for battery.  can you tell me what I need to do?

(to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/create-a-desktop-background-slide-show there is a video about, logically, office of slideshows. It shows the photos a little checkmark in their upper left corner.  mine is not that.  they have - as good as I remember, because now I can not find "change wallpaper" on the control panel to see - a box in the lower right part with two blue controls or arrows or something. by clicking on these boxes does nothing.
Why have I not these boxes at the top left? shouldn't the video the immutable-slide-show question?)

Thanks for any help

To do: Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Why Windows 7 won't remember my Desktop Slideshow setting after using Remote Desktop for it?

Probably need Windows 7 Professional or better to do, I don't remember what editions have Remote Desktop.
I really love using the Windows 7 with desktop slideshow feature. I have a very large amount of funds in a folder of wallpapers which I configured my 'theme' customization which is supposed to spend on a daily basis.
Usually, the scenery change as they are supposed to, but very quickly, I noticed that once school started, the same background blocked for awhile. After resetting the setting time and time again, I noticed that the background changes is no longer after that I used another machine remotely in this machine.
While I understand why turn off desktop slideshow arrives for remote desktop, why didn't he re - turn on desktop slideshow after disconnecting the remote session?
    Steps to reproduce:
Computer 1: Turn on Desktop Slideshow in customization (Customize, wallpaper, choose a background screen, use fill as a position of the image, change image daily 1, mixed). Save the changes. Save this theme with any name, for example 'the mine'.
Computer 1: right-click on the desktop: notice that she has 'Next wallpaper' from the context menu.
2 (Windows XP) computer: Remote Desktop connection to connect to computer 1.
Computer 2: Close the Office connection remotely using the [X] button on the title bar of masking (disconnection without disconnection).
Computer 1: Connect on your computer.
Computer 1: right-click on the desktop: note that the "next wallpaper" is MISSING from the context menu.
Computer 1: If you go to the customization, the current theme will be unsaved theme that uses the last wallpaper, but don't use a Desktop Slideshow.
This should not happen. He should go immediately to my previous theme, or even if I do not save the theme, it must return to the original values that was there before the use of remote desktop.
Does anyone else know this? Is there a solution? Or am I doomed to have constantly changing my theme daily until Microsoft fixes this (If they decide to)?
    I use Windows 7 Professional build 7600 x 64 (MSDNAA image).

  • Lack of the "Change desktop icons" option in my control panel

Im trying to restore the icons of 'Trash' and 'My computer' original on my desk.

Ive played a lot with these before settings on other computers, all of which is running Windows XP or earlier. I can't find the appropriate options in the Control Panel on my vista computer. Many forums indicate the "Change desktop icons" option should be "Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization", but the link does not exist in my control panel.

Is there a way I can make this option appear?

    Hello

In the control/customization panel (or right-click on the desktop and choosing Properties), the ability to change the desktop icons under tasks in the left column, will not be like a link in the Center. You declare that this line does not exist? Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

  • Desktop slideshow stops working - Windows 7

I have windows 7 32 bit and whenever I run any program that requires windows to switch to the classic desktop by temporarily disabling the Aero interface, the theme changes to "Unsaved Theme" with a single image, and he's not back to my original theme. I must change the theme manually myself and remove the theme unregistered every time. My theme is a slide show of images more that changes about every hour.

It's embarrassing because I run a lot of things that requires the computer to switch to classic mode, and I don't want to turn my slide show manually every 20 minutes or so because I ran one of these programs.
    Specifications of the computer:
Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
CPU: Genuine Intel Dual Core 3.2 Ghtz CPU (not overclocked)
    ATI Radeon x 1650 Pro512 MB
    SoundBlaster Live! Value
All drivers are later they can be. I have seen this problem mentioned anywhere on the web without a solution, but I did not saw it mentioned here, to this extent.

I'm sorry, I know I said the classic mode, but I wanted to say that in this case all the time windows automatically becomes my windows 7 Basic color scheme. (Glass went transparent, blue, rounded title bars and a message near the system tray that says light

"The color scheme was changed to windows 7 Basic. A running program is not compatible with certain Visual elements of Windows. »
However, this problem was solved in my case. It turns out that a 3rd party program I was using called UltraVNC Server was using the wrong setting, that invalidates the background image to display during a remote connection with another client computer. Whenever Windows switched to the basic mode to use the VNC server, the Office would turn black, and then the background would be returned to the previous photo without the slideshow an Aero has been restored.
For those of you with UltraVNC Server installed, modify your administrative options to ensure that VNC Server option "Remove wallpaper for viewers" is not selected. This solved my problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  • Receptive HTML - change desktop > stop point Tablet

I'm changing the width in pixels who change from view of the Office for the Tablet and so when the sidebar changes to icons.

It seems that Javascript is used to remove class open-sidebar to various divs when the screen is reduced below 1300px. I need to change this value to 1200px.

I could add CSS adapted to do this, but it would be much easier to update the JS. I've narrowed this down to one of the scripts responsible for this to the script \Responsive_HTML5\template\scripts\rh.min.js but I did not understand how it adds / removes desktop/tablet computer goes 'sidebar-open'.

Someone at - it strategies or options?

    Thank you
