  I have installed and reinstalled windows 7.  I also installed a better video card and am still having the same problem.  The peek aero on the taskbar works find but after that my computer sits for a while without being used the pop-up window no longer works and all I get is a text box.  They don't come until I restart the computer.   The lines are behind the NOTES_1 textfield, you must click outside the object and drag on the page to select lines. Temporarily, you can send back the textfield, working on the lines and then back the textfield to the front.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.
