Stop the instance

I have a process that is infinite while loop. I don't see the instance when I start the process. I want to stop this instance how can I do?
From now on, I stop and start the server.

Hello

Insert a java snippet at the beginning with:

Checkpoint();

After that, you are able to see the instance in the BPELConsole and then you can abandon it.

  • Change of date of BONE affecting Oracle instance? I stop the instance?

    Hi all

I'm having a moment principal here. The SA is trying to change the OS date/time...how will this affect the instances of Oracle running on the box. ? Should I bring the bodies down, allows him to change the date (order date, I guess, this is a box of HR)... and then put it to the top...
Or, I have to take it down at all... just give way and let the date command?

    TIA,

    Kelly

Change of date of OS will change the SYSDATE on the database. If you have something that depends on SYSDATE, which could cause problems (i.e. If there is a process that inserts records using SYSDATE and the other orders of the date, you could get things out of order so time goes backwards). If you need to recover to a point in time during the window, you may need to recover a SNA instead of a timestamp. Other than that, it should be pretty safe.

  • Reloading of the servers in Tuxedo during execution without stop the instance of Tuxedo.

    Hello

Is there any command to say Tux to reload a server a runtime? Is it possible to hot deploy a server?

I understand that it is impossible to recharge the tuxconfig when running, but it is possible to replace an existing server that is already running?

    Thank you

    brunno Attorre

    Hi Brunno,

Usually the best way to handle this is to have several copies of a server running, replace the binary image to disk and the tmshutdown/tmboot sequence of each server.  This ensures that only services will always be available, and when servers restart they will pick up the new executable image.

You don't need to reload TUXCONFIG to implement configuration changes.  You can use the tmconfig command, even if this isn't the friendliest tool in the shed.  TSAM + 12 ° c provides a plug-in control of Cloud for Oracle Enterprise Manager that provides comprehensive management functions for Tuxedo, including making virtually any configuration change on the fly.  You can also make direct requests of MIB yourself with a customer FML32 or ud32 to modify the dynamic configuration.  Do not forget that these dynamic changes will be reflected in the TUXCONFIG, but NOT in the source UBBCONFIG file.  If you usually perform a tmunloadcf after making significant changes in Dynamics.

So adding new servers, changing the Server binary, new groups of servers, add a new machine to a cluster, etc., can all make dynamically.

  • Start & stop an instance RAC

    Hello

I just created a 2 node 11 GR 2 database RAC, traditionally from databases not CARS I would just use sqlplus to start / stop the instance

Q1. What is the recommended way to start / stop an instance in a RAC environment? Do you use a cluster to do command, or is sqlplus is acceptable?

Q2. If you use sqlplus and more to stop an instance on a node, I presume that the cluster services is NOT as a failure and so don't try to restart the instance?

Q3. similiarly what is the best way to start / stop a listener on a particular node?

    any help appreciated

    Jim

    Hello Jim,

Q1. What is the problem with the status not reflected in the output of clusterware resource? Is it to do with the ability of Services to acknowledge a failure and restart the CLuster service?

Response: The resource database is not parsed by SIR and if the database suddenly stops then none will try to restart the same.

Q2. Regarding the automatic closing of a database in a CCR environment (as opposed to the manual method which I asked on-) if I simply turn off the cluster nodes of my will which in turn stops the Instances and close the database RAC itself (when the last Instance is closed)?

For even if I turn on my knots, the first node start cluster, its instance and open the database?

Answer: well, if you turn off your server then of course the database and stop anything else running on the server. When the server is under tension and if crs autostart is enabled then the clusterware stack will come with the server

Q3. What is the difference between a Service and a resource of the cluster? Are the database, earphone etc services or resources? I'm just trying to understand why SVRCTL is used to manipulate the database and listener and not say CRSCTL?

Answer: You can configure a service which is part of tree resources of database and the resource database is a parent for the same thing. Services are used to connect to the database. Database, (if added) services, asm, listener, scan etc are all the resources of the clusterware, which are monitored by the clusterware.

You can refer to the Oracle documentation, which will give you more insight on these details

    Hello

I don't know if anyone has had this problem before, I read in some messages and have not found a solution.

I have install Oracle 11 g on a Fedora box and a box of Ubuntu. In both I have the same situation.

After the installation of Oracle, I can work with it without any problems, create the table, users, views, store, procedures, etc, etc...

  • How to upgrade the Instance of the process Variable using process API OBPM 10.3?

    Hi all

I have a requirement to update the Instance of another variable process, process, but I am unable to find a method to update or set the variable?

I try the same thing using the APIs process too but no luck. Please give me the code or a link to implement even.

    Thank you and best regards,

You can stop the instance using a notification. If your process has an activity wait Message that has an "Interruption" on property, once notified - the instance would be automatically routed to the Message wait and activity were downstream of the waiting Message activity. This Interactive inside your other user can edit the information. Once completed, the instance would go to an automatic activity that has logic "action = BACK" and may reallocate the instance to the original participant. The changed values, you want to go to your instance would be sent as arguments to the message wait activity.

  • OCR and voting disks (vd) are in ASM, I can stop the ASM instance?

    Hello

I have two RAC nodes in the program of production installation and test setup. OCR and voting disks (vd) are in ASM, I can stop the ASM instance?

    -Kumar

    Hi Kumar,

    No, we can't.

Best practice is that you need to stop the battery Oracle Clusterware on the node on which you must stop the Oracle ASM instance.

Use "crsctl stop cluster node_name - n" or "crsctl stop crs" for this purpose.

    It could be that useful...

    Thank you

  • How to stop the Radius/Ganymede ACS 5.2?

Hi, is it possible to stop the Radius/Ganymede ACS 5.2 from the GUI?

The command line, you can stop the ACS instance itself - but I don't think you can even components.  It simulate an instance ACS failed.

    I think that his:

    request stop acs

    or

    judgment of the ACS

To start, it's the same thing with the start of keyword.

  • How to stop the chain of management based on the description in Oracle 11 g BPM

    Hi all

Need your help in the understanding of the possible implementation under the scenario:

We have a chain of management where he must be stopped once the instance they are assigned to a user with specific indication of the genre (say HOD).

We are unsure of the number of levels in which it will reach to user with the designation as HOD.

It may be 2, perhaps 3 or 4 is perhaps.

When I looked at the options available, we have the ability to define the best participant "by title" (Manager, Director, CEO the values available)

    So my concerns here are:

    (a) If this title is mapped to the user of designation as a Manager, Director or CEO?

    (b) can we add other titles down to the bottom.

Secondly, we have the possibility of using XPath, but here I do not know how to achieve this using XPath use cases.

Please guide if there is another way to handle this.

Let me know if my problem statement is not clear.

    Kind regards

    Bodet

For your condition, you should be able to type the name directly in the title field:

You can use XPath to determine the top Participant at run time. For example, according to the applicant, if the participant at the top of the page is different. You can determine the value of participating in the execution, put it in a variable of the payload and then use it here.

  • Stop the db trying to register with earphone?

    Nice day

I'm running an instance unique EE 11.2.0.4.0 database. In the listener.ora file, I set DYNAMIC_REGISTRATION_LISTENER = OFF and use the static entries listener/tns.

Problem: My database continues try to register with the listener every few seconds or so, generating the following two log entries

    07-JAN-2014 11:00:00 * service_register_NSGR * 1194
TNS-01194: The listener command did not arrive in a secure transport

I have logging enabled in the listener.ora and do not want to turn it off, but I don't like that my log file is growing at an accelerated pace. Is anyone aware of a method to stop the tent database registration with a listener?

    Thank you

You must (re) set LOCAL_LISTENER address in tnsnames.ora file OR a complete address string (e.g. " (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST= hostname )(PORT=1599))" , and not a white space.")  It can be done online, should not require a restart.
