stop the virtual printer function because OneNote printer becomes default

Hi all

How can cut us the virtual printer function in a Windows 7 Virtual Office? He set up the print queue in the instance of Windows 7 installed locally OneNote and it deploys the OneNote, the default printer and it's confusing people. We want to solve this problem in the virtual office and not Windows 7 installed locally because there are 25 machines that we would need to visit. I tried to run a VBscript script via Group Policy to hardcode a different default printer in the virtual desktop Windows 7, but it must occur before the OneNote print queue is intercepted.

Thank you!

If you stop the services of tpautoconnect on machines of VDi Thinprint mappings would not happen.

    Hello

    How can I stop the virtual keyboard to appear coincidentally in my game? There is no reason for the player to use the keyboard for the game, so I want to disable it.

    My current solution is to wait for the NAVIGATOR_KEYBOARD_STATE with the NAVIGATOR_KEYBOARD_OPENING State and by calling virtualkeyboard_hide(). But which causes the keyboard to appear a few pixels down before disappearing again.

    Is there a way of elequent more disable the gesture of virtual keyboard?

    I'm afraid, is not possible. If BlackBerry Advisor does not fix me don't waste your time on this. If a user low blows to the left of the keyboard is displayed regardless of your application.

    Your script seems to be ok.

    When the VMware tools are installed you can do a gracefull shutdown (Stop-VMGuest) within the guest where OS the obligation for the VMware tools.

    The next option is to stop the virtual machine (VM-Stop), with what would be the power button on a physical computer.

    No phasing out of the BONES and a potential risk on the corruption of the OS.

    With switch RunAsync that the cmdlet returns immediately, it will not wait until the underlying vSphere method is complete.

    The method will continue, but in the background.

    You should check these tasks to background (Get-task), to monitor the successful completion.

    To manage VMS in batches of 25 and wait 60 seconds between batches, you could do something like that

    $vms = get - VM

    $step = 25

    sleep 60

  • failure of pre-flight print saved PDF files through the "save under" function because of the current JavaScripts

    How can I disable using JavaScript in a PDF file that is saved with "Save as" option? PDF files print via postscript and distill are without JavaScript. PDF files that contain any JavaScripts fail the printing process before the flight and so we need to know how to disable all the JavaScripts in a PDF file even if Save as function is used to generate a PDF file.

    Thank you

    Peter

    Peter,

    I looked a little more on it, and regardless if you're reviewing post-processing routines or not, it seems that FM now always writes a javascript model when you use the SaveAsPDF routines. The script is actually empty, that is, it identifies the source as coming from FM, and here is the script embedded in the PDF document [he hasn't]:

    //

    FrameMaker

    //

    / * belongs to: Document-level: FrameMaker * /.

    //

    //

    It seems that your options are limited here. You cannot use the SaveAsPDF road and get rid of the script to the end of the FM of things. So you can use AcrobatPro to sanitize the document, create a script that will remove the javascript or talk to your printing provided by supplier to see if they will let the script above spend their pre-flight.

    Alternatively, use the print function to create your postscript and then distilling to create the final print-ready PDF. If you need to create a CMYK & Spot ready color output using the way of printing, then you will need to use GrafikHuset (today a freebie) PubliPDF in postscript output FM CMYK + Spot PDFs. download convert RGB:http://design.grafikhuset.dk/index.php/kontakt/downloads/grafikhuset-publi-pdf and more details available at the: http://www.grafikhuset.net/PubliPDF/

  • OfficeJet 8600: using "Send a Fax" in the companion printer into default printer changing to the fax printer

    Problem with the default printer, changing the Fax 8600 8600

    Windows 10 with the latest installation of the 8600 software

    This problem occurs in the printer Assistant software when you use "send a Fax".

    By clicking "Send a Fax" will cause my default printer change to the 8600 fax.

    I don't know how to change it in devices and printers, but hopes to fix the problem.

    Thanks for the reply.
    In fact, I found the solution. It was a setting of Windows 10.
    Apparently, 10 Windows will change the default printer to the printer last used (in this case, the printer named as the "fax" printer).
    To fix this, I went to:
    Beginning
    Parameters
    Devices of
    Printers, Scanners &
    and turned off the coast "Let Windows manage my default printer"

    This solves the problem. Coming from Windows 7 I wasn't aware of this setting.

  • ESX patch.  "Stop the virtual machine.

    It has been a long day and a night so far and I plan just to weird things.

    Then a stupid question: patch when ESX year screaming 'VM Shutdown & Reboot host' such as the impact on the system, they really mean shutdown (aka put off the power) of the virtual machine? Or is specifically referring to VMware tools that need to be installed which requires essentially a reboot the virtual machine hot. I have run in a few recent scenarios where the particular SMV .vmx file must be updated and, for some reason, cannot be done when turned on. I have worked on 400VMs during the last year and I can honestly say with VMotion and Storage VMotion, can't believe more than 50 of them have actually been actually turned off (EX: increase of the Ram/CPU), even if we patch our windows every month environment that almost always requires a reboot.

    Fun as stuff that keeps me in the night

    Reboot the host means that the ESX host must be rebooted after the patch is installed.

    Stop the VM means so to patch your ESX host all VMS on host must be stopped or migrated off the power before patching.

  • Can I stop the standard booking functionality in Oracle applications?

    Hello

    We have a requirement where you want to stop the standard booking process. We have developed our own custom logic.

    Currently, what happens is that when I book the sales order and then increase the amount, inception 2 records in the MTL_RESERVATIONS table. A registration is in effect that was created when I booked the order and second is for quantity difference that I have increased. (For example if I booked FOR 5 qty, and further increase to 7, it will be 2 lines in MTL_RES.) One for 7 and one for 2

    Is there a way to stop the standard booking feature to stop? Please suggest.

    I'm sorry. After checking the guide once again. 'The default value is NULL, which means that the planning will not automatically set aside'

    NULL value must be the correct way to disable it.

  • Unable to connect to the printer via ThinPrint error: "serial0: unable to connect to the virtual printer daemon after 25 attempts." The device will be disconnected.

    I started this thread on the debate under of the "Fusion free v2.0.3" but Michael suggested I post this as a new thread, because it turns out that my problem was not due to the much discussed most recent update security Max OS causing ThinPrinting to break.  Whenever I have start up of my (Win XP and Windows 7) VM beta I get the above error message, and therfore cannot take advantage of the ability of merger of ThinPrint print on my printer Mac network.  Michael asked several log files, I have attached 3 in this post and others attached to my next post, so I hope you smart people of VMWare will be able to help me with this problem.  Thanks in advance!

    Ron

    I got a response from ThinPrint with a possible solution - the problem may come from a file/etc/printcap obsolete, which refers to a computer that no longer exists. The DNS lookup may be a delay of 30 seconds and can block the process of thnuclnt. The file/etc/printcap file contains a copy of the configuration of the printer, but it is not necessary for the thnuclnt. It is generally not yet created by OS X by default, but it seems that previous updates to the OS X system or printer drivers can be turned on at any given time. Subsequently, the option got turned off, but the old file was left with outdated information.

    Could you try to rename the file/etc/printcap file and see if it eliminates the delay of 30 seconds? To do this, run Terminal and use the following command:

    sudo mv/etc/printcap /etc/printcap.bak
