Storke missing functions on Illustrator CS6
Seems to me to miss the shot works these lines of dashboard creation etc, I have the latest version of Illustrator CS6, but does not include why sound lacks all, I have the weight of the race (see image below). At first, that I thought that it was because of changed and the effect is gone, but I read forums and it seems to be everywhere.

Online help you indicated is for Illustrator CS5 and Illustrator CS4. This option is not available in Illustrator CS6 and to achieve that we need to expand the art traced and create then "new group of colors" by using the swatches of the selected artwork palette (expanded work).

Missing in Adobe Illustrator CS6 Swatch Library
I read a tutorial for Adobe Illustrator CS6 who wrote for the CS5 version and I'm at a point where the author uses the model of "Brick Maya" (he says that he is in the Swatch Library > models > decorative > Decorative_Primitive).
The problem is that there is no file Decorative_Primitive in version CS6.
Any help with this one?

I've updated Illustrator CS6 by CC (I also Illustrator CC installed for work) and now CS6 will not open say that missing a bunch of plugins. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
Try the "all Apps" in blue on the right, there is another menu in the menu drop down, below people say "See the previous Versions..."

Does not start under Illustrator CS6, Java SE 6 - DURATION - missing Version
Who can help me. I installed OX 10.8 and cannot start Illustrator CS6 6-DURATION-Version is missing. I downloaded the latest version of Java on their Web site. But no progress... The ideas and help?

Allows you to try the solution below and check if this is useful:
- Download Java for OS X 2013-002, to: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572
- Install the update of Java by using the downloaded .dmg file.
- When the installation is complete, a software update dialog box appears. The dialog box States that you need Java SE 6 Runtime to run Adobe Illustrator CS6.
- In the software update dialog box, click on install.
- Launch of Illustrator.

My Illustrator CS6 will not launch
I was working with a file HAVE in Illustrator today. Everything worked well and I made a few modifications and placed the file in my inDesign document. I saw another change, that I wanted to do so I click with the right button on the file and choose Edit with Illustrator. I got a Windows box pop up that says, "Adobe Illustrator CS6 has stopped working a problem caused the program blocking works.» Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "The only option was to click on the button"close the program ". No other information was given. For the last two hours, I was Google search, these forums and some of my Illustrator friends asking if they had any ideas.
I can open the program by holding down the SHIFT key and I can even open a file, but no feature is available (see image) as you can see most of the options in the windows is missing. Even if I open a file, nothing in the window menu is available and even preferences will not open. I can't same shortcuts.
Google says you can reset/clear preferences now shift - control - at the opening of the program. This still does not work and the system hangs on loading ColorHarmony.aip
I have reinstalled the software because after having read the other questions on the net that were very similar to mine, that did not help. I was working with fonts and deleted one because he has not worked at all. I don't remember the name but I know it started with a T. When I went in Windows/Fonts fonts don't came as hahahah hahaha instead of the characters of the alphabet. So, I deleted thinking that something is happening with the police. Maybe I messed up a required font?
I'm under Illustrator CS6 16.0.3 64bits.

My software is now registered with the technician and I can now use Illustrator! This is the Silhouette plugin that was causing the problem. Once he got rid of it worked great!

Is it possible to reset or switch via a script in Illustrator CS6 workspaces? I tried with the functions listed in the Adobe Illustrator CC documentation and it shows me an error of not recognizing the function. And I don't see these features in CS6 documentation.

Hello everyone - this issue has been a problem for me in Illustrator CS6 for more than a year.
The Libray Pantone in Illustrator CS6 has a search box, but when I type in some numbers (541 for example), it takes me to 7541. However, if I look at and manually choose the shade hovering (which takes an eternity and ridiculous) I find it.
541 sample is here, but the search function does not work for many numbers. This is an incredible waste of time for me and after many updates and put up with it for a year, I'm at the end of my rope.
What all would you propose short to buy yet another version of Illustrator that I find ridiculous since I already paid several thousand dollars for this one and I don't want to have to buy new software because there is a bug that adobe refuses to patch.
Was that it was for a long time and boring. Type (space) 541 (space).
4 digits should work fine, as long as they are not new numbers after CS6 is out.

Illustrator cs6 problem "this file is not found" when open network file
I used to install the trial version of Illustrator CC on my desk and then during the trial run out I decide to go with illustrator CS6 instead, so I decide to buy &
Illustrator CS6 install on our desktop and everything seem to be fine exceptthe problem is that our .ai file is located on the network design team shared drive.
When we try to open the file from the network drive with illustrator CS6, it says "this file is not found.
-We try to copy the file to the network drive on our office and can open the file without problem
-If we double-click directly on the file from the network drive to start the CS6 illustrator with this file. He has also very good, no problem at all.
- But if we first open the illustrator CS6 and try opening... and then again browse to this file on the network, then "this file is not found.
-CS6 Illustrator have no problem opening the file in the local hard disk.
-Illustrator CC have never this problem, open the file in the drive of our network, try to reinstall the trial of Illustrator CC again and it may open without a problem

Hi, I just could solve this problem, a path of the folder in our network is contains a character of Thai language.
When rename us all English characters, it is able to repair!Maybe it's a bug since Illustrator CC is quite open this file, but in any case if it works at least I don't have to guess anymore.

Illustrator CS6 64bits takes too long to RECORD
Hello Adobe community.
I have a problem with saving the files in my Illustrator CS6 (64-bit), the registration process is too long, 5-10 minutes of waiting and my laptop becomes questionable when recording. AI crashes sometimes in the middle of my work or save and let the hours of work.
My laptop: Intel processor i3, 8 GB RAM, 1 GB Nvidia Graphics, 480 GB drive HARD, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I tried to solve the problem so far (vain obviosly) by doing this:
(1) run all updates
(2) excess fonts uninstall, I don't have that 180 fonts currently
(3) I do not use FontExplorerProX or similar.
(4) I turned off compression during backup option.
(5) I turned off do PDF copy option.
Have even on a much lower PC in XP SP3 32 bit a time saving of a few seconds. This question was non-existent when I first installed, but as time passes its getting worse and worse, it seems.
I need your help and advice for implementation have record more rapid and better behavior. Its just unbearable to work at this stage.

The user account is a problem that appears frequently in the forum. Illustrator seems a little sensitive to that kind of stuff.
Another question could be fonts, including corrupt ones.
And a missing printer and an incompatible printer driver.

How can I get a box of width and height that I resize an object in Illustrator CS6?
In a training video on Illustrator cs6, that a device is shown below, only the instructor manually resizes a work plan using the tool of work plan:
Justin, the instructor, called the little box that immediately shows width/height a "box of width and height, but the search on this term is not productive.
