  My computer used to do the same thing, the difficulty was simple enough for me. Try and force leave safari and it should fix the problem, it fixed my problem, hopefully, it sets your. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

  It is strange that you have this problem because other Mac users are complained about a different problem in fullscreen on YouTube, which is that they wanted the browser to stay full screen mode, but don't get out that full-screen for video.

  Whatever it is, assuming that YouTube is serving you the HTML5 player instead of the Flash Player - you can confirm by right-clicking / Ctrl + click on the drive and check the last line of the menu short - you can force the use of the Flash plugin with an extension (Flash Video Player from YouTube). Go or exit full screen in Flash player should not affect your Firefox window one way or another.

  When it is on youtube, safari 9.0.2 on my brand-new early 2015 macbook proand I select full screen on a video, expected load black screen but then the video loads in only half of the screen.

  There is a temporary fix, it must change the quality to any other quality video and then back again, but this must be done each time full screen is enabled and has a little lag.

  Anyone know a permanent fix or knows if apple are working on it.

  This does not occur with firefox, so I guess there is a problem with safari, not my mac or youtube

  For some reason when I open Youtube on Safari Web browser it will not full screen video. But the video as look size normal Youtube video in the upper left corner and the rest of the glance at the black screen. I try another video site but the game in full screen as usual with Safari, so that it comes with Youtube Web site only.

  Easy! On a youtube video right click and go to settings, first thing you should see, it is that hardware acceleration is enabled, clear the check box next to it to turn it off. This should solve your problem, it worked for me

  My problem is that whenever I'm not moving my mouse, my window random active jumps

  EX: the top on my active windows bar is black, then all of a sudden it wobbles a bit, and all of a sudden his gray, almost it has been disabled as long as the active window.   I thought about it, I suspect me that 1 of my desktop gadgets was perhaps to blame, I had 3 gadgets. Notepad, weather, and a cpu monitor. so I took the time and CPU monitor and now the jumping has stopped for now. I thought I would respond with this answer in case anyone else has this problem so that you can ask them if they have gadgets active which changes every few seconds as my CPU meter does help.   To be honest, I found a "update" of firefox button that has deleted all changes without removing the passwords and others.

  There is one add-on we shortcut Youtube VLC and if you add this you can add the path of the exe for vlc and right-click on any Youtube video to play in vlc locally.

  A user has provided this solution:

  -Right-click on the video your streaming using flash player.
  -then click on settings
  -the title of the screen settings should be the first tab, uncheck the use hardware acceleration

  I have some Toshiba laptops, satellite and now netbook100.

  All share a problem, the touchpad scroll bar:
  It stops working after you exit the full screen in youtube.
  Here's how to reproduce the incident:

  1. with the help of any mainstream browser, start playing a video on youtube, click on the button at the bottom right of the video full screen.
  2. click on [the cross] to exit full-screen. (next to button full screen.)

  I m not a NB100 owner but I have a laptop and I m using IE as your browser and Windows XP.
  I checked this and my touchpad is not working correctly!

• YouTube won't play full screen on Chrome

  When I select full screen, window stays, the same size, but moves at the top left of the screen. I go into settings and my hardware acceleration of the reduction option is gone, it used to be here... This only happens in YouTube, other videos on different sites, I can select full screen without problem, even if the acceleration of the reduction option went there too. Now I have only 4 options to choose in local contexts. He also went global settings.

  I tried to clear the caches etc... no joy. It works fine on IE9 for me, but I've always used Chrome & GMail and do not want to stop.

  I use Windows Vista Business 32-bit SP2, my browser is Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 my Flash version is 11.7.700.179, which is the correct version for my browser and the operating system is up-to-date. Windows, Chrome and Flash upgrades are all topical.

  I've been on the forums, I have enabled plug-ins, I erased and deleted the caches and Adobe files and it is now getting boring.

  I realize there was an update recently, but I don't want to start messing around on uninstalling and digging at the earlier versions etc... Is not just intended to be incorporated into Chrome and updated automatically so that users can avoid doing these kinds of things.

  If anyone can help, I would be grateful. If you need to know anything else, please ask.
