  I recently bought a STR-DH520 and I'm trying to get audio through HDMI to my P8H77 - I motherboard on my computer, but so far without success.

  If I connect the computer directly to my TV or the sound projector is read from this device. If I connect it to the amp I get no sound from the speakers any audio playback device I select on the computer. However, if I select the projector as a device for reading on the computer I hear the projector (for HDMI passthrough works)

  I have selected the right speaker configuration and have performed a calibration, so I can check that the speakers are working.

  An update, I tried with another computer, still no luck.

• STR-DH520 component video

  I just moved into a house where they have a line consisting of the closet to the tv area. I have a Sony Bravia HD TV which has been great to work for a few years. I don't want to pull a HDMI cable in the tube where the sons of component are so I went and bought a Sony STF-DH520 a / audiovisual receiver. I hang a DVD and a Comcast HDMI in HDMI input on the receiver ports and plug a HDMI to the TV output. Works very well.

  I then try to use the Monitor Out on the receiver and connect a component video (red, blue, green) and I get no video on the TV. Then I try just the (composite) video cable to the video output on the back of the av receiver and no luck there.

  Did I miss something until I take this thing back to the store? Page 21 of the manual shows that I can have a HDMI or Component out to my TV output. It should work.

  I think it is the way that most all receivers work. I would run the HDMI.

  UPDATE!

  According to the guidelines of my previous post, you know now that you can not connect your PC directly to your receiver, the reason is that your receiver can not video output from a PC directly. However, this video shows you two ways in which you can still get the same end result.

  Method 2 in this video will give better result although it won't in stereo (no dressing) that said, your receiver may still make it sound much better than your speakers in PC.

  This video shows how to connect using a VGA, but you can use HDMI instead, you can always send the audio to your receiver, as shown in the video.

  Connect the RCA Audio cable to some entries available you have. You do not have a PC input as shown in the video, but that's OK, just use something else.

  Y at - it no problem with that or everything simply select the audio output from the audio out of system preferences?

  I guess that it is the same thing as my Macbook Pro, where I did just that - if you plug the cable into the headphone jack, it should work without needing to select the output in the Prefs. If you check with a helmet, you must confirm this. Having a video output running will not affect this.

  I've recently updated iTunes to 12.5.1.21. Now, when adding files mp4, iTunes is not placing them in the videos section as before but instead adding them to the music and the ability to change the type of media for movies or TV series does not appear in the tab options to read the information, it is only allows you to change other types of audio files.   I have checked the manuals users and, if I understood right, using S-video out port just image will be send to your TV. To get a sound, you must use speakers for laptop or earphones connected to the headphone jack.

  In my opinion the best solution is delivered cable SCART. Unfortunately, the cable SCART is too short. With HDMI port on the device (as on some Qosmio G30) is much easier to plug into the TV.

  Question may be stupid at first but why do you need VGA connection if HDMI works perfectly? I mean using HDMI you will have better photo quality and also sound is transferred to television.

  I'm having a problem adding a video file FLV to Captivate. Basically, after that I have published on a SWF file, the video does not appear on the slide at all. It's just empty.

  I ended up answering my own question. But just in case this helps someone else, I'll post my solution.

  Essentially, I just re-created the video in MP4 format. Then I used MetaZ (for Mac) to write metadata in the video. Finally, I imported the video as an object and when I posted the video, Captivate it transmutes to the FLV format needed.

  The video is now displayed correctly.

  Now, if I add video effects more than two to one clips, Adobe CS5 first no longer displays not the original clip, but instead shows an other clips in the sequence!

  I noticed that this effect does not occur with all clips or all effects... The effects I've been unsuccessful in adding to some of the clips are, for example: time of Posterization and Echo.

  I can reproduce the problem. I have not tested all the effects, but in my limited testing I could reproduce with anti-aliasing, blurry photo, sound effects and Ghost images following one of the effects of the weather.

  There is an option in 4 contribute, not sure about 3, where you can tell Contribute to use css inline or all simply p tags.

  Try going to administer the site, to highlight a role, click on edit role settings, select change in the menu of left, then under spacing of paragraph title select the option "two lines".

  Not sure if it's the same in Contribute 3, but I think that the option is there somewhere.

  The map in the link I have provided will work very well.  It is not a high end card, but the reviews seem to be good.  It requires a power supply (PSU) at least 400W.  I normally recommend at least 500W to 550W.

  I like the OCZ and Corsair PSU.  They are passionate about quality with a good price.  The two PSU in the links is less than $100 and give you plenty of clean, stable power for your system.  The PSU is the backbone of the computer.

  I would not spend too much on the computer, as it is almost 5 years old.  The new technology is in front of a computer for 5 years.
