• Suspend data problems

  First of all - I am very new to SCORM, LMS, or something of the sort.  I know very, very little about it.

  We sent our module to the client in order to implement in their LMS - everything was perfectly fine, except that we received a complaint concerning our suspend data and the way in which the progression of the user is followed.  Essentially, he has not followed or follow-up in a strange way.

  Basically, all we need to ensure the follow-up is the progression of the user in the slides so that we a) they all the b) back to the module slides and continue viewing, if they interrupt their viewing of the course.

  There are quiz questions, but the answers do not need to be followed.

  My questions would be a) we filled the SCORM manifest & other options e-Leaning according to the wishes of the customer, and requiring their LMS, my assumption would be that progress and follow-up would be processed without any additional customization from us, which is a false assumption? (b) I noticed that two of our quiz questions were always reporting a quiz, they shouldn't be, we re - publish and test again, but it will be at least a day before having your comments, I wonder - could cause this issue alone suspends data problems?

  For the first part, which suspend_data customer "would see". It's a strange request, as most users have no idea what suspend_data is much less how it should look really! I suspect that you mean the results during the recovery of the lesson, it's not what you expect... and if that's the case, what is the precise, unexpected result?

  As replied, a blade be 'full' it must play along, so if you have, say, audio in there but don't expect not for audio to play through, slide out to the end, is not 'complete '...

  Quiz was being classified... How? If you Quiz slides in there, I don't think you can force them to not be classified (although maybe you can, I've never tried). If this isn't the case, Quiz slips, and they are made by hand, as you of COURSE questionnaires it is not marked to report interactions? Best way to check is which to choose

  Project > advanced interaction

  and see if one of these interactions have 'Track Score' active.

  If you can get nothing to report for the 'quiz' but can not get the slide completions to report correctly, so my suggestion is your ' c)' option. A button marked at the end that says something like "Click here to complete the lesson" often works best. A scored interaction, statement of completion and score to 100%...with as an interaction of caterpillars, they should get 100% by clicking this button. Who can also offer a way for suspend_data solve... rumors have that including caterpillars interaction can help you with questions...

• Strange keyboard problem - Portege A100

  I have a Portege A100 some three years now.
  There is a problem with the keyboard, only the keys 5tgb - a diagonal line.
  As soon as the PC is often placed on these keys don't work at all. After a while, if I press hard, especially if I turn on caps lock shift, the key to start work and then more or less work. Sometimes turning the PC and trie still the problem using shift often makes it worse. Sometimes the keys work, but only with a delay. No other keys are affected.
  I am confused as to if it's a hardware problem (are these keys connected even if a single connector?) or a strange software problem, perhaps related to the traditional Chinese microsoft input method editor that I recently downloaded.

  Any help or advice would be welcome.

  The keys are connected on the map as the rest of the keyboard keys.
  There are not connected separately. To me, it looks like a hardware would be malfunctions.
  Why? Well, it's not easy to say. Sometimes loses keyboard cable affects the use of the keyboard. But maybe the entire keyboard needs to be replaced.

  We must consider this possibility I think you should contact the ASP in your country. If the warranty is valid replacement should be done for free.

• Satellite C855-5347 - strange temperature problem

  I have an old C855 5347 of 3 years with a strange temporary problem, right of the touch pad between her and the corner got warm enough. I wonder what is in this area that make heat. Speccy time show Ok, all vents are clear.

  I can only imagine that HDD produces so much heat. In fact, it is placed in the Middle, under the touchpad, but I still think it's the HARD drive.

• strange charging problem

  I have a laptop DV7-3065DX that I got last Christmas and he has recently developed a strange charging problem.  The other day and all of a sudden that it stopped charging, so I left FS2004 and within 5 to 10 minutes, I was playing FS2004, it began to charge again.  I think it may be an overheating problem.  It is not a problem of power adapter, I tried to use my mother G60 adapter and still had the same problem during execution of FS2004.

  The problem has become so bad that it would not load when activated, I called HP and I sent it back to get fixed.  I came home today, and it works fine now.  They have repaired or replaced my mobo, the thermal pad, battery and ac adapter.  I paid only for shipping to the France and I am happy to use again.

• Strange mouse problem

  I have a new laptop HP 8440 and I'm having a very strange mouse problem.  The point of the mouse on the screen from time to time will crawl slowly towards the top of the screen.  This occurs when you use the Touchpad mouse or when you use a USB optical mouse.  The mouse buttons remain active and navigation mouse continues to function (so I can pull the mouse down of his craawl), but he continued to creep upward.

  This does not happen all the time and 'fixed' after 5 minutes of me being frustrated.  I don't think this is driver-related, but my mouse driver is 5.1.2600.0

• Problem strange date range

  I know that this kind of question is covered in other posts, so sorry to repeat, but at the moment I am confused about what I'm doing wrong.
  
  I am trying to select the 'book' of column for the rows of a table "library" for the date of today (in the format DD - MON) between the line start date and end date. What ends by going on, it is that I get lines where the number of date is between the number of start date and end date. For example, on today, 01 - JUN the order would display rows between 00 - OCT and 30 - DEC (car 01 is between 00 and 30), but not 02-JAN and 30 December (as 01 is not between 02 and 30).

  I have a strange problem with the my LOV on one of my monitors. When I select a value of LOV(af:inputComboboxListOfValues) and released tab, it works fine. But if I copy and paste a text value that is also present in the LOV list data source, and then tab out then sometimes an exception is thrown.

  I raised a SR with support of oracle for this issue and come to know that it is actually caused by a bug (Bug No. 9524564) in RDBMS to Oracle 11.2.0.1 version. This bus has been fixed in the 11.2.0.2 Patch Set.
  The solution is either so, upgrade to the version of 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 RDBMS by applying patch set.
  or check with the workaround by disabling link furtively and in defining the "_fix_control" = 6163564: stop "as stated in the Bug 9524564.

• Strange intermittent problem with macbook pro

  Hey there ppl.

  So, I have a Macbook Pro (15-inch, mid-2014, retina), processor i7 2.2 GHz, 16 GB of memory. Running OS X El Capitan.

  My problem is a strange, because it is only intermittently. ID say like 10-15% of the time. But its very frustrating and annoying when it does and because I am working on my computer (poker), it's also costing me. in any case, the problem usually occurs after I've been using the computer for 1, 5-3 hours or more. Usually ill be playing poker online, listen to spotify and use of the internet for stuff randomly. Everything will be fine and then suddenly ill notice that my mouse cursor will be suddenly shot through the screen occasionally. as ill be goes well with the cursor but it'll jump to the left, a couple of inches or more. Also bad note that some of my habit of 'clicks' record, so ill use the calculator for example and badly want to press 543 and maybe 5 records, but when I go to click on the 4 it does not work, and ill have to like wait a second, then click New to register the click.

  Also, if im typing something, as in poker, I have sometimes to take note of the way in which an opponent has played a helping hand or whatever, a letter or a space press custom register, so ill be typing a phrase and the space bar is and I'll have to press the key once the couple , then a letter will not register, etc.. Sound very disorienting and made it difficult to continue the task IM because it does not smoothly because of the LAG, unregistered, mouse jumping, etc.

  IM really not sure of what the root of the problem and what it is. Ive has run the malware anti-malware bytes, but that has not solved the problem. Usually when that happens ill try to restart the computer, or stop and return back but generally the problem persists. Then, after some time, maybe 20 to 45 minutes or so, when I try to use the computer it works normally with any of these problems.

  Very bizzare. Any help or insight is appreciated, let me know if you need more information

  Thanks for letting us know about the problem you are having with your cursor jumps erratically on the screen of your MacBook Pro.  The resources below provides some initial troubleshooting steps, you can try at this address.  I suppose that you work with the trackpad on your MacBook Pro.  In addition to the steps suggested below, try to connect a wired mouse to your computer to exclude Wireless interference.

  Looks like you have your cellular data settings allows iTunes to use your data, but it continues to tell you that you are not connected. I would start by first quit iTunes and apps settings:

  Force an app to close the iOS

  1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
  2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
  3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

  When you have done that reboot the device and test again the question:

  iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset

  If the problem persists, I would then reset your network settings:

  Go to settings > general > reset, and then choose an option:

• Need help with a strange crash problem

  Hi guys,.

  I use Firefox on Windows 7 32 bit 14.0.1. The problem is that every few minutes my browser crashes. The memory usage appears on the rise and until you reach a point where it causes Firefox to crash.

  In safe mode, the problem occurs. So, naturally I tried disabling all my Add-ons to reactivate them one by one and try to find the offending module. This is where it gets strange.

  After I disabled all my modules and even all the plugins, the problem was still persistent. If Firefox works in mode safe, but out of safe mode with all my Add - ons disabled the problem persists.

  If at this point I don't really know what to do. I guess that safe mode is something I haven't thought to do, but I don't know what. The problem any help will be much appreciated.

  OK, yes the problem is caused by hardware acceleration. My browser works well now that it is disabled. Apparently, this has something to do with the latest AMD video drivers:

  I've recently updated to the latest drivers and now I get this problem. I figured it was something to do with it. Apparently, these problems have occurred since 12 FF. This should really be sorted.

  I'll just use FF without hardware acceleration for the moment, but I hope that we see a fix for this in the next version. Or if it's actually a problem with the AMD drivers, if all goes well they will get into it. Anyway, it needs a fix.

• Strange sound problem with Satellite L740 TV outputs

  I'm having a strange problem here... I googled this several times already, and I only found the same solution mentioned several times and the given solution * not * work is to me.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite L740 running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium, with a 64-bit Intel Core i5 - 2410M @ 2.30 GHz CPU and 4 GB of physical RAM. My problem is the following...

  There are two different TVs in my house that I regularly connect my laptop via HDMI cable.
  The first is mine, and I can get sound through the TV very well when I plug it in.

  Sometimes, however, I will disconnect the computer from my TV and not get any sound through the laptop because he's trying to output to external speakers to TV.

  More importantly, when I connect my laptop to my * roommate * TV (the same make as mine, you mind), I can not all the sounds of his TV at all.

  This is a recent problem. Until this morning, I was able to get noise from two TV very well and only sometimes had problems with sound through the laptop itself, which has been easily resolved by restarting.

  It's just a hunch, but it's almost like * doesn't realize that there are two different TVs * that it is connected to my computer. Maybe it's stupid, I don't know, but be it, it's frustrating...

  * ALSO: * I've seen dozens of suggestions that I put my HDMI audio as default device. Yes, I did. It wasn't the issue. Is the same to activate my audio drivers in Device Manager. They are all turned on, so it's not that either. Any ideas?

  It's a bit strange if you connect the laptop to two identical televisions and use the same HDMI cable to the TV.

  Unfortunately, it all works automatically and I put t know if you can force your laptop to recognize two TVs on the same path.

  In the worst case you have to do it manually in the sound properties > playback devices.
  If it works with four mouse clicks you can change.

  I tested my laptop with two different TVs.
  At home, I have a Toshiba TV and at the office we use Sony. On both automatically get sound on the TV speakers.

  If you will be able to find the solution please let us know.

• Strange overheating problem Satellite X 200

  First of all, I must say that I am not a pro on the material.

  Service Pack 1 of Windows Vista 32

  Here is a description of the problem, really intrigues me:

  A month ago, when I was playing Dead Space with settings maxed out except for the resolution, an incident occurred during a graphic effect. The game hung because a little bit changed the resolution and the screen started to Flash. Items in the game has changed color and small black squares appeared everywhere. I stop and therefore the game is unplayable whenever I tried to start it until I reinstalled it - that lead me to believe there is a possible software problem. Vista said the graphics driver crashed. In addition, after the laptop worked after some time started windows to display graphic objects - shadows had black spots on them, parties random interface buttons began to randomly appear on the screen for a short time, video during the videoconference contained squares of color.

  I tried to update the driver graphic but messed with the (unofficial) update and had to roll back. Finally, I was forced to reinstall Windows and the problems stopped. So far.

  I was playing NFS: Undercover when the same incident occurred (the accident takes place in 2 stages - all first there is a blockage then there is no quality problem but performance is bad, after a certain time more the flickering occurs.) And yet I play Crysis maxed out almost without problems (but now the problem is so serious that I'm scared to run it). Same problem occurs with Left 4 Dead, that does not demand a lot and performance is perfect. After that I reinstalled win there was no more than windows and video not questions but game only.

  I tried everything I could. With Everest tested through NFS - GPU temperature reached 65 degrees normally quickly then reached 68 slowly when an accident occurred. But few crashes also occurred on lower temperatures too (65). the highest recorded temperature is 69. Also, some games reached high time without crashing (maybe a fluke). The NFS crash took place during the maximization of the game window (coincidence?). Heard talking about a problem of overheating with the GPU chip series (G84M), but the complaints are not specific to my card.

  After a crash on Left 4 dead today, I checked the time again and was shocked when I saw the time CPU - 73 or smth. I have not seen any problems before. I pointed out Everest CPU and time is high in a few seconds - up to 78 degrees! It was only for CPU 2, for 1 processor, the temperature was about 5 degrees lower and the average CPU was not higher tha 2 CPU. No fine limits! No data on the speed of the fan. Extract fans (without opening) - extremely high time, were higher before. Right fan does not blow as hard as the left but I think it's normal. Physically there is no sign of any problem. For a single simple window opening the CPU speeds may increase by 8 degrees in the second which I think is realistic. After the last crash, it seems the 'inactive' CPU and the time GPU are up with 3 to 5 degrees (GPU 56, 51-56 CPU 1 CPU 2 54-58).

  I keep the laptop on a desk, average air temperature is not high.

  Please help me with this, I am desperate and don't know what to think - the laptop only 3-4 months. Thanks in advance

  Have you recently cleaned the dust from the radiator?

  Maybe its overheating and cause errors.

  You can use a can of compressed air to blow off the dust.

• Strange sound problem 1800-314

  A strange sort of wheezing sound is coming from the fan area, I suspect it's something to do with the processor.
  I recently set up a new fan (from the model 1800-914) which improved playback of DVD (no longer ignore), but the overall performance of the laptop are slow at times, especially when its been over 2 hours.
  What, if any, upgrades processor/replacements are available to me?
  How would I ask a new processor?

  Hello

  It may be that your old Fan has been damaged, but one simple change of another does not solve the problem.
  As far as I know Toshiba a different thermal glue do for different models and processors!

  So, it may be that false thermal scope glue causes failure even because the heat from the processor cannot be moved and the fan runs all the time!
  Also your processor can be damaged in the future!
  Normally only the same processor will work without problem in your 1800-314. Other processors can operate, but need it know for your own!
