Strange noises of HP Pavilion m7

I hear these strange noises coming from my speakers on start up and stop or even go on youtube. I reinstalled IDT high definition driver couple times cause Hp Support Assistant updated my IDT drivers and my BeatsAudio does not work. When I reinstalled it, it works but when I restart my laptop it makes this weird almost static like noise. Is anyway to fix this?

Oh my, I'm terribly sorry. I found the cause of the sound "beep". He had the option "power toggle: beep PC reviews will be enabled/disabled ' advanced Beats Audio settings.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I received my new Tecra M2 two days ago. As I started using it, I noticed a strange noise coming from the laptop. Could you tell me what could be the problem and how to solve?

    Thank you very much

    Hello
I also had a problem with noise if my M2 has been linked to a portreplicator. The solution was the number of Microsoft Hotfix KB822603. I hope this will help you.

  • A satellite - speakers crack and make strange noises

    Hello

I have problems with my speakers. Crack speakers and make strange noises. I have tried everything to fix this (new audio drivers install, re - install windows...) and nothing has helped. I see someone has installed a new version of the bios and this has solved the problem.

'UN' fforunately I have already installed the actual bios system and the system does not have to reinstall the current version.

Can someone tell me how I can re - install the software in the bios?

    Thank you very much

    Hey,.

Such resettlement is no function you want to say to the BIOS. You can only upgrade to a newer version but not to reinstall the current version.

I think that there is another solution for your problem, but above all that it would be interesting to know if you can see these problems with external speakers or headphones too.
    You can check this please?

  • Satellite A200 - 1 M 5: strange noise from NECK or HARD drive FAN

I have a brand new A200 - 1 M 5 has bought 10 days ago and 4 days ago one began to hear a strange noise from the fan or the cpu or perhaps hhd I don't know!

When windows stars I continued fan power. I mean like vooom, solid with air coming out.
Or not this sound, but each all in a 1 sec fan noise door and disappear 1 to 2 min of its different!

I also wanted to turn on the pc, it lights!
There are AC lamp light but not on the battery!
Then, I removed the battery and then put it in its place again and the pc started normally!

    Help me

c.p. my ram is 2 MB

    Hello Cezar

You should clarify directly with your local dealer or the Toshiba service. I have too many Satellite A200 and my laptop is quiet enough and described it is not normal for me.

Sorry, but to say with certainty if there is something strange or not I should have the laptop in front of me. Second issue with the battery is as strange and it is certainly the second reason to contact ASP.

  • SatelliteA200 - 23 k - strange noise coming from the fan area

I have my model A200-23 laptop Toshiba PSAE6E for 1.5 years and I recently returned from service.
I sent there due to a nonfunctional key.

All right, they changed the keyboard... but since I found, I have noticed some strange noises coming from the fan area...

The sound is not so strong, but it's pretty boring.
I cleaned using compressed air, but the sound has not disappeared.
It is still under warranty, but I don't think they would do something against this noise.

The laptop works very well, it is not overheating or something, but I cannot get used to the noise.
    Should Whatd I do?

    Hello

Hard to say what noise would that be
But if the laptop was removed by a technician of the ASP in the past, then you should get in touch with the same technicians again and have to explain your situation!
A screw has perhaps forgotten who knows
I think that the technician should take a new look on this laptop

I wouldn't recommend open and disassemble the laptop yourself because you could void the warranty

  • A15 - strange noises

    Hello!
I have an old A15 of 15 months and it started making strange noises. Noises come from the area near the fan (upper right corner). The noises are a scratching noise, beep and a click. The fan does not seem to work properly. But I am concerned about the noise.
    Any ideas/suggestions?
    Thank you!!

    Hi fill me,

Sorry, but at the top right corner should be DVD - ROM and on the left side, cooling ventilation.

The sounds you hear are probably noises caused by the DVD-ROM. is there a problem with it? Can you use it correctly?

  • Strange noise coming from the fan on Satellite P100

My Satellite P100 just makes a noise like a seriously heavy drill. Nothing else happened significantly so I turned off immediately and left for an hour or so overheating had the broken fan.
Now back on and everything seems fine, but I'm worried. Is there something that can explain this? I got 5 interviews next week for which I use the laptop to prepare a presentation and I do not want to fail on me at the last minute...

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hello

that could be an object (something really little) is/was blocked in your FAN and is now gone. If this would be a problem of turnover so the fan would still some strange noises.

I suggest you do the following: use your machine as usual and if noise appears again then ask a technician to clean the fan/ventilation system. I Don t think it s some malfunction of the equipment.

    Good bye

  • Qosmio X 70-A-12W produces strange noises

    Hello

I operate my new Qosmio X 70 without the battery, but I heard a strange noise that stop or decrease if I turn on the keyboard...

Do you have what it might be any idea?

I never heard of something like this and I think you're the first person that relates to this topic.

Have you noticed from the first day or later?
By the way: why do you not use your Qosmio without battery?

  • When I plug my laptop into an amplifier (mixer) I have a strange noise

    I've read about it - http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=20824

but the sounds have not disappeared. Strange thing is that when I do ANYTHING on my laptop - I hear noises that change (for example, when I write this post, move the pointer, opening - closing windows, even when HHD works).
Noises when I am not connected to the power source. Maybe there is a problem with AC/DC adapter?
This situation is unacceptable. I worked on other laptops, and I NEVER had problems of this kind.
I have the intention to buy expensive (for me), audio interface USB or FW, how can I be sure that this situation does not yet exist?

I had a problem very similar to this:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=22626

When I plugged my laptop on my amp I could hear strange noises ringing and a sharp wail, which changed when I moved the mouse and performed other actions on my computer. Like you, this has happened when the laptop was plugged. Don't know if you've already tried this, but I bought a "ground loop isolator' from Maplin Electronics, for about £10. You plug along the audio connection between the amp and the laptop. It has removed any interference and has not resulted in a noticeable loss of sound quality.

    I hope this helps.

  • Satellite A350 - Microphone making strange noise

When talking to people on Skype and MSN people say my mic makes strange noises. They can hear me vaguely on the noise. People say it's a bit like a gurgling noise.

At first I thought that it would be a driver problem so by using Device Manager in windows I have searched online for a update for my Realtek High Definition Audio and he told me that the version is up-to-date.

I went from Vista to Windows 7 about 5-6 months there may be that this is a problem when I reinstalled my drivers? Any advice would be appreciated!

    Characteristics of the computer:
    -Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
-Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P7450 2.13 GHz
4.00 GB of RAM (2.99 usable)

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

Driver update might be useful in this case, but the audio driver is not related to the internal mic. The internal MIC is part of the webcam then in this case I recommend to reinstall the driver for the webcam of the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

And don t forget to check the Windows sound settings. I would try to disable the microphone amplifier and reduce the volume of the microphone.

  • Strange noise on a Satellite A55 S1064

Since two days I have a strange problem with my Satellite A55S1064 aged 1 month. The cooler was very quiet because I bought the laptop, but 2 days ago it began to produce a strange noise that I can't really work on the laptop, it really of destruction. The laptop gets hot, but I think that this is not a critical temperature - my laptop previous also had hot at times.

An interesting fact is that when I hit the pc a little more noise stops for a few minutes.

My suggestion is, this cooler gets stuck or sth similar. What can I do about it? I don't want to send my laptop in support, because it'll take some time to check the problem then.

    Hello

It s a very bad idea to open Notepad by yourself, because you will lose the warranty.
It s a new portable computer and you do not need threatened security.
You can make the laptop to your dealer or you will contact the Toshiba service partner in your country.
I'll take one of these possibilities.

  • Strange noise on my Satellite L50-B-NV

    Hi all

I have a Toshiba L-50 b-1-NV and the case constantly makes a strange noise, as if the load continuously. Sounds like something streaks, I think it's the hard drive, but I'm not sure, because the computer is relatively new (I got it 1 month).

At first, I thought it was normal, but reached a point where I can not speak for Skype because the noise is annoying for other listeners.

I opened the Task Manager and it seems quite normal.

You have an idea, what could happen?

Thank you very much and greetings.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here. It is really strange that this strange noise is so loud for others when using Skype. Is this possible as intensely as internal microphone pick up this noise?

It must be much better if you use the headset, right? Have you tested it already?
Is this some sort of vibration or maybe clicking noise?

You know, these issues should be controlled by technicians. They can put your machine on the desk and hear what is happening exactly. We can discuss here about this problem but it is not easy to say what the problem is here.
