Stream laptop HP 11: laptop has completely stopped working

I've been on gmail, I try to print an e-mail when I got a message saying had stopped the page and I would like to wait or kill him. So I pushed to kill and took me to the desktop. On the desktop, I couldn't do anything to work so I pushed the power button. The power button starts blinking and the screen went black. Then I pushed the button of power again and the screen came blue and it won't do anything.

My daughter also said, that the left speaker is not working.

I'm on a tablet now and it does not work well most of the time, so if it takes a few minutes to answer, it's because I have a problem with the tablet.

  • Touchpad has completely stopped working

Hey, my touchpad completely stopped working. I tried to download the driver and restart and the stuff, but nothing seems to work. There was formerly an icon for it down to the right on the toolbar, but that's even more here, it's like the software so that it just doesn't even exist anymore.

Can anyone suggest a solution please?
    Thank you

    Hello!

You can disable and enable the touchpad with FN + F9. Select this check box, because maybe it s disabled.

Have you tested an external mouse? You have the same problem with it?

    Good bye

  • Two of the four USB ports on my laptop has suddenly stopped working!

My laptop (HP Pavilion) has a total of 4 ports USB (two on the left side) and two on the right side all of a sudden my laptop developed this problem, two ports USB on the left side of the laptop no longer works... They didn't stop working completely, because I can still charge my phone via the ports, but they do not detect any storage device I plug into them. The other two on the right side work perfectly... I checked my mobile device manager and the defective thing only seems to me pointed out under "other devices", where the driver for 'Fresco Logic' hub USB root is not installed... it shows "the drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)" Please, this could be the problem and where can I find the driver?

    Hello

    You are welcome!

I am pleased that the issue is resolved. Since it works fine, I do not think you have to worry.

However, you can check this link:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2654568?WA=wsignin1.0

To find the version of ports, you can consult the HP manual (specifications).

    It will be useful.

  • My keyboard for my Acer aspire switch 10 has completely stopped working

I use my Acer 10 for about six months and had improved to win 10 just now with no problems.  This morning the keyboard stopped working.  I checked the Tablet contacts, clean them with a brush and a cleaning and not restarted, no chance.  The keyboard when it starts allows me to enter the PIN code and I have a USB mouse attached to the keyboard that works, but none of the keys work when I am connected to Windows. If the screen times out and I try to enter the PIN code again, nothing.   I can navigate around using the mouse, but not have the ability to enter information on keyboard.  I'm stumped and would apprecaite any suggestions welcome.  Acer has been great so far?

I solved the problem!  It turns out it is 10 Windows that caused the problem.  Filter keys were turned on somehow and they disable the keyboard for users with disabilities. I discovered this on another machine when it happened too, but this time a unrecognized icon appeared in my system tray.  The icon has been for these filter keys and when I turned off their keyboard is back.  How this stupid thing got switched on I don't have a clue.  The original pc with the problem did not show a filter key icon in the system tray, so I was puzzled, did not know they existed.  Something for others to check if this is the case for them.  Thanks for your help.

  • The last 3 times I clicked on auto updates of firefox firefox has completely stop working and I have to open the Explorer and again to download firefox.

I'm afraid to update firefox since the last 3 times I did so firefox stop working and had to be reinstalled.

I'm glad it works again. This is the important result and thanks for posting back.

Repeated to uninstall and reinstall Firefox often do not help.
Clicking on the pop-up of unknown or doubtful origin, it is always a bad idea.

Screenshots will help if you are still having problems.

Connects to any future reference is not to the internet, after a new installation may be related to problems with the firewall or your security software not recognizing Firefox.

  • Adapter WiFi my laptop has suddenly stopped working.

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 (32 bit)

    -My WIFI is out

    Umair salvation,

Please provide detailed information about your question. I appreciate the step by step troubleshooting, and pain that you have taken to resolve your problem. However, there are a few steps more that we can try to diagnose the root cause of the problem.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Are you able to connect any other wireless device to the same network?
    2. Are all the lights on the Modem/Router Green?
    3. Have you tried to connect your HP laptop with wired network? If so, was the same result?

Problem with the random disconnection of a wireless network can be triggered for a variety of reasons. To find out the exact cause of the issue, I would recommend that you run the network troubleshooter utility.

    Network convenience stores

This problem can occur if authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network checkbox is enabled. If this box is checked, but there is no server to authenticate the connection is interrupted. If you turn on the wireless network connection, it disconnects again after a short period.

    Method 1: Disable IEEE 802 authentication. 1 X

To disable authentication IEEE 802. 1 X, follow these steps:

    • Click Start, type ncpa.cpl, and then press ENTER.
    • Right click on your wireless network connection and then click Properties.
    • Click the wireless networks tab.
    • Under preferred networks, click your wireless network, and then click Properties.
    • Click on the Authentication tab, click to clear the authentication enable IEEE 802. 1 X for this network
    • Check box, and then click OK twice.

Method 2: Disable the IP assistance service

    • Hold down the Windows key and type R, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press enter
    • Scroll down to the IP assistance service, right-click on it and select Properties
    • In the drop-down list box that says "Automatic" or "Manual", set it to disabled and then click 'apply '.
    • Then click on "Stop" to stop the service from running in the current session
    • Click OK to exit the dialog box.

Method 3: update the Firmware on the router

Download and install the latest firmware for the router, in case the steps above fail to resolve the problem. If your router is Netgear, then you can follow the steps below.

    NET gear 3700 firmware update

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

    Kind regards

  • We bought paper license for Windows 7 Professional for a laptop... the laptop has now stopped working. Can I re install Windows 7 in a new laptop using the previous button?

    Operating system - Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

Type of license - license paper

If previous key provided with the laptop dead, no, you cannot transfer to a new laptop. OEM licenses are not transferable:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

  • Mini Display Port has completely stopped working

So I bought a Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter and it has worked perfectly well for more than a month. That's until 3 days ago. Out of nowhere I plugged my HDMI into the adapter and the power led of the monitor turned on and after a few seconds of reading, "No Signal". I have to hold the power cord in the more odd angles to get even for the screens of mirror, and even in this case, the screen is static at 80%. I looked online and tried every single tip or solution I've seen without success. All my HDMI cords are fully functional as I tried each one with my PS4 and works perfectly, so this isn't the issue. I've never had problems like this with any other Apple computer. Probably because no other computer using mini display ONLY ports. If anyone has had this problem and found a solution please let me know, if I can try to get this working. I have a MacBook Pro 15 in. mid-2012 with the processor i7 under OS X 10.8.5

This suggests a possible problem with the cord.  I would like to make an appointment with an Apple store genius bar and I tested the unit and the power cord.

    Ciao.

  • Windows Update has completely stopped working

Windows Update (Windows 7) no longer works on my machine.  I tried the automated troubleshooting and a couple of so-called 'fix - it' of Microsoft programs.  Windows Update crashes just to "download updates... "at 0%.  Windows up-to-date diagnostic app crashes "Identify problems" "check updates online..." ».  I tried to reinstall the update.  I don't know what else to try.

You should give more than 8 hours (overnight) to get the downloaded updates. If it still does not work:

Use the following tutorial to reset Windows updates completely and check if it helps:

    Reset Windows updates

Be sure to run the script as administrator.

  • Family safety on Windows 7 has completely stopped working, even if she pretends to be on

Help, please!  The Windows Live Family Safety filter worked well on two of my computers for a few months.  All of a sudden it does not filter anything, well that Family Safety site shows that the filter is activated and the work for each account.  I tried to turn it works, change settings, updating / refreshing the filter, etc., and it did not help.  I discovered and removed a Trojan horse (win32/Neop! gmb) and some adware (win32/BetterSurf) that were on my computer.  Then I tried to uninstall the filter of parental control on both computers, closing my account of the safety of the family and he put everything back in place from scratch.  That does not help either.  The filter will still let us get any site and see adult pictures or videos, even if the filter says it is on and functioning "normally."  I don't know what else to try.

I heard this on another post, and it WORKED for me also!  I logged on my account live.com and udated my name in my profile.  I don't know if that it or if MS has solved something but I can not connect on fss.live.com.  Please share and please post if it worked or not.

  • keyboard has suddenly stopped working

Hi all, my keyboard has suddenly stopped working. I was installing an upgrade of El Capitan (later) and when the computer is restarted, it gave me this message that the bluetooth keyboard was not detectable. Well, I don't have an external keyboard, just the Interior came with the laptop. I have reset the pram and it still does not work. I looked at the system preferences and beach seems to be in check. Is it time to this service or do I still have options?

    Thank you
