  Hi all!   We have a HP Laserjet CP5525, which sometimes creates a strip at the top of the pages.  Attached is a picture of the worst example, but it varies from appearing in a grey pale stripes.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

  After looking at the attached copy, you experience ITB cleaning blade streaks.  The waste toner/toner used in calibration cycles is cleaned off the surface of the belt of the ITB cleaning squeegee.  It seems that C-blade is a failure on one side.  Here are a few options to resolve this problem:

  1. If within a period of the product warranty, contact HP and ask a new ITB.
  2. If outside warranty, buy a new ITB.
  3. Remove the C-blade and check to build fibre, dust, debris in the area of the belt where the failure of cleaning is in progress.

  As a temporary workaround, you can try:

  1. Perform the ITB cleaning cycles by opening the front cover and close it.  This can allow the C-blade remove the toner.  Perform this sequence several times.
  2. Remove the tow tug and carefully wipe the toner with a soft lint or the toner cloth that comes with toner CRG.
  3. Increase the temperature of the environment (if less than 59F/15 c).

  This defect occurs only during a cold start?

  Your product is under warranty?

  Is it possible that your printer works in an environment with particles?

  What is the coldest temperature that you printer is exposed to?  If you work at a cold temperature (T<59F 5c),="" then="" the="" system="" should="" recover="" when="" the="" temperature="" is="">

  I have a completely blank toolbar at the top of my page, which removes space on my screen? Is it possible to close?

  You can select the toolbars to show or hide them here: view > toolbars

  Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily.

  I have google as my default homepage on my Mac. This morning when I opened Firefox Google home page fills the entire page, there is no menu or toolbar at the top of the page. I tried to click on F11 but it fills just the search bar with an f. I tried right clicking and clicking on 'ESC' but which does nothing. I tried to screw up my version of Firefox and download a new version, but when I opened it, it opened to the Google home page and there's still once a menu or toolbar. I did not restart my computer once I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I'll try that right now.

  On Mac, command + shift + f should also switch between normal view and full screen.

  Another method that may work is to drag the pointer of the mouse completely to the top of the screen. If the tab slides to the bottom bar, you can right click (Ctrl + click?) an empty area of the top (or right click on the button '+') and you should get a context menu runs with the option for Mode full-screen output.

  Here is some additional information on the configuration of the new tab page:

  Hi jimfrancis, the Firefox logo is not the Firefox button, but you should be able to get the Firefox button by right-clicking in an empty space in one of the bars at the top of the browser by clicking on "Menu Bar". The Firefox button is not essential, however, File, Edit, View... menus provide the same functionality (but some help articles can only give instructions on the Firefox button).

  I'm not sure what you mean by a menu button, but you can add/remove buttons and move them by clicking right in an empty space in one of the bars at the top of the browser and select "Customize". You can then drag and drop icons/buttons in the window that is displayed in the bar at the top of the browser to add. You can also rearrange the buttons by drag-and - drop the verses of other places on the best bars and you can remove the buttons by dragging them from one of the best bars in the "Customize toolbars" window

• Any page, I try to open in Firefox, the page is always white - page charge, but remains always empty.

  Yesterday, I downloaded the new version of Firefox, and now whenever I try to open a new page that is nothing more than a blank white page.

Text in the blue section is the Windows Live titles such as ' home, Mobile devices, etc. When I try to compose a new message, text in the blue box partially covers the 'To' button, so I need to position the slider at the bottom of the button to enter an address. I have tried Hotmail in IE and it seems fine, so it must be a problem of compatibility between Hotmail & Firefox. Hotmail has not responded to my questions by e-mail. I could understand that if this happened at the beginning of a session, just after I have lights, but this happened after, I had been active in Hotmail and other sites. Other sites are not affected, just Hotmail and only in Firefox.

  Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

  I have links to content on the same page, like "named anchor" of ancient times. Problem is that the page contains a fixed header on 250px high. As content scrolls upward all the way to the top of the page, the top of 250px page are hidden by the header.

  A very simple way to do this is with CSS and a combination of relative and absolute positioning.

  You probably have an empty text frame or something that you do not see who is holding it there. Start by clicking on close to the topp of the footer inside the page content area and see if you get everything is sized up and now the foot there.
