I found I could do work again going in Firefox Privacy settings and turning "remember history" back on. When I never use 'remember history' twitter 'image' is not climbed. Here is an example.

  I have a problem that did not exist in previous versions of mozilla. I found the problem after you have installed the latest version and after setting ever "remember history" of firefox

  The problem is related to the CSS code to stretch a background image to fit the screen. The background image does not stretch if "never remember history" is NOT defined. That part of the image is displayed and the rest of the background is black.   I just lost the previous months of the tabs in 3 groups of tabs by selecting "never remember history.» I was in horror when I opened the browser again and nothing was there. It all works.

  Hi willpublx, when you have selected never "remember history" in the privacy options so you are actually in 'permanent private browsing mode' and that there will be an extra mask icon to indicate that.

  Never remember history and the private browsing mode are the same and the two always select "use the private browsing mode.
