Stucks at loading Windows Vista

Hello. So my problem is serious I guess, because recovery or etc system tools have not helped. I tried to go to safe mode, but it got stuck at a certain point while doing some sort of control. I also tried the "last known good configuration" but it helps didin't whatever and I see that bar loading and loading all over again. If it is useful, I have a "HP Pavilion HDX' laptop computer. Please help me!

Hello

Yes, you will need a new hard drive.  There are a few models starting HDX9000, see link below.  Could you let me know what is your.

Exactly what the problems are, other than your email, you encounter? What do you mean also 'filled my c/hard disk 233 GB'? Please give as much detail as possible.

If the old hard drive is still installed and running before you change on hard drives and you never received the to purchase recovery discs, you can make the recovery discs from the recovery Partition which should be on the old hard drive. Hello

There is no free and legal Vista download

Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

Last night I tried to Hibernate my laptop (Windows Vista 64-bit), but it took forever so I held the power button to stop it. When I started it today, however, it would not load windows. I tried loading in safe mode, but it stops at crcdisk.sys. I tried using the automatic repair tool to find issues. The first time, it took about 2 hours to fix, but once it asks me to click 'Finish' to restart, it restarts and arrives at the black screen with the Green loading thing goes from left to right. It remains to this screen for minutes, hours. I also tried to boot from the last known good configuration, and this does not work either. I tried to restore to a previous point, but there was no previous system restore point. Windows was working fine the night before.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The symptoms you describe point to a faulty hard drive. Hard drives can appear to fail suddenly like this so the fact that he was 'before' is irrelevant. Test the hard drive with a diagnostic utility downloaded from site of the disc mftr. or use SeaTools for BACK of Seagate. You create a bootable CD with the files you download. You will need a third party burning software to do as the free ImgBurn, Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data.

I would like to point out something that you may not realize: Windows 8
has two interfaces; the modern/Metro Interface (which may be all the)
you have looked at) and the traditional desktop Interface. You can use
    one or both.
This traditional desktop Interface is almost identical to Windows 7
interface; the biggest difference is that there is no Orb start
Click to bring up the start menu. But note that you can get the beginning
Orb back using one of the many third-party programs, either for free or
    very inexpensive (Classic Shell to)
    http://classicshell.sourceforge.NET/ and debut8 to
    http://www.stardock.com/products/start8/; my personal preference is
Debut8, but they are both very good).
And going from one interface to another is very easy; There are
several ways, but simply by pressing the Windows key is perhaps the
easier. Just install one of these two and using the traditional
Desktop interface may be a better choice for you than go to
Windows Vista. I use Windows 8, almost exclusively with the
traditional desktop interface and start 8 installed. If you were
to view and use my computer, you would have a realization of wireless trouble
    is not Windows 7.

I also recommend to read "how to make Windows 8 or 8.1 watch and.
    Want Windows 7 "to http://www.howtogeek.com/elk/298/45121/4206

has been woundering if ill have problems if I try to load vista on a laptop comes with windows 8 already on it

Note that you need to do a clean install, so lose
all data on the drive and all installed programs.

Also note that (especially with a laptop), you may need Windows Vista
drivers for it, and they cannot exist. So before you try, remember to
Check with the manufacturer of the laptop that Vista is performed on it.

You might be able to install Windows 7, but NO server has been tested and validated to run no matter WHAT client operating system. They are tested and developed for the server operating system. That said, it doesn't mean it won't work, but you will need to use the drivers 2008R2.

Servers are not supposed to be quiet, but as part of the POST, the fans turn loudly when first energized. If they do not ramp down to a 'normal' speed, there may be a problem with the fans, sensors or environment (or the lid can be turned off).

Make sure there is a check mark next to the DVD drive... means it is enabled. Also, how did you create your Windows media?

SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) are not the SATA drives, but SAS controllers/cables/funds of basket are 'retro' - compatible with SATA. You CAN put SATA drives out there, but it won't change anything. Windows will treat it the same. Windows only communicates with the controller, not directly with the player.

  • Cannot load Windows (Vista-Sony Vaio VGN-NS110E)

So I bought this computer off a friend for $50, knowing very well the problems she experienced. No im hoping I can get some help and do this thing running.

When I start the computer, I get a screen that says...

"Unable to start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

    I have two options below...

Start the reboot system (recommended) - Insert windows instilation disk and restart... Well I don't have the instillation disk

Start windows normally - goes to loading with green bars screen and handle everyday if I let him

I downloaded this (iso 120Mo thing) vista recovery disk and he put in the computer and ran the startup of many times repair... 20 times or more.  the only thing I get is "system on the disk volume is damaged." it dosent have one

When I boot computer and press f8, I get a screen with many options... I can't load the safe mode, safe mode with networking, or safe mode with command prompt and any of the other options seem to give results.

When I start the computer and press f10, I get a disk read error occurred press Ctrl-alt-del to restart (done nothing doin it just stay on the same screen)

When I boot the computer and press f2 it evokes the thing of the bios I think and he tell me that I HAVE a HD 250 GB installed in the computer (which seems really odd because when in the Startup Repair and I click on the button "LOAD DRIVERS" I am able to look through the hd and see all the old files left there by my friend BUT HE DOES WATCH THE HD FOR) BE a 140 GB HD?)

    THINGS OF IMPORTANCE MAY BE:

He mentioned something about someone who replace the hd for him goin for the smallest 140 now 250 gb hd... but it seems strange that the computer is tell me 2 things different in 2 different places (250 GB in bios f2 thing) (140 in the button drivers load the Startup Repair tool) and MI is still able to browse the folders on the hard drive

    his display I have 3 drives c:local disk (140 gb) e:recovery(8.89gb) x: start (33.6 MB)

If your friend tried to reinstall Windows by using the defined gateway recovery disc (and this is the best way) and this recovery fails, the laptop has hardware problems. Disassemble laptops is a fickle business at best and while it sounds like the hardware problems started before your friend did this, it may have put the nails in the coffin of the laptop to take apart.

At this point, you can try troubleshooting hardware or your friend can take the laptop to a competent professional (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place). However, if the laptop has had hard use, your friend must remember that a cell of 4 years with major hardware problems probably won't be cost effective to repair.
