  I just bought Lightroom 3 student edition.  I know that Lightroom is a cross-platform software, but I'm still not sure about the license.  Currently, I have a laptop, but is planning to upgrade to a Mac a year.  I'll be able to use the same license on a new computer?

  Just a quick question on Labview student of license. I have the 2010 student software package and I was wondering if its possible to install in on a desktop and laptop at the same time with the same license.

  The general license contract should have been included with LabVIEW software. If you don't, you can read it here: http://www.ni.com/legal/license. For the Student Edition license you can install it on 3 computers. It's the same as a regular license "named" for the edition of non-students of LabVIEW.

• Activation of Photoshop elements Student Edition for primary school students

  I bought a card to Photoshop elements Student Edition license for my daughter who is in grade school. We was told that she might concede that with assistance from her .edu e-mail address, but cannot find a way to do this. It doesn't have any kind of student card she can use as proof of being a student. How can I get a serial number to activate this software?

• CS4 - CS5 Student Edition upgrade?

  I did a search of forum on this subject, if it is possible to update a student edition license, and there seems to be some answers of contriversing whenever it is requested. So I'll ask one more time for me to see if anyone has not yet the definitive answer. When CS5 is shipped, it will be possible to improve of CS4 Production Premium student edition to CS5 Production Premium Student Edition? Or I have to buy again as a new version? Also a minor issue, I'm sure that won't be a problem but simply check with CS5 installed as well as CS4, CS4 will still work too OK?

  I do work with Adobe and I just wanted to give a little more clarity on the subject of upgrade. Currently, you cannot upgrade a Student and Teacher Edition to an another Student and Teacher Edition - you can only upgrade a Student and Teacher Edition to a retail version. However, this upgrade cost is often more expensive than just buying the new version to the Student and Teacher Edition reduced prices up to 80% off (assuming that you meet all the eligibility requirements.)   It depends on where you live. According to the FAQ Version student, you can use it for commercial purposes if you are in North America. If you live elsewhere, you are out of luck:

  Well, this is a nitpick, but a CD can hold only 600 MB. Photoshop is way superior and is supplied on a DVD.

  Just looking on Amazon, you can get it as an element of box (DVD) or as a download. Adobe offers for download.

• Install Web Premium CS4 Student Edition on laptop after the Question upgrade Windows 7

  I hope that this has not been asked before, but my question is this: I want to upgrade my laptop Windows XP to Windows 7.  But I've heard that all programs be uninstalled after installing Windows 7 on a computer running Windows XP.  I have to reinstall all the programs again to use CS4 Web Premium.  But my student edition says that I can only install the program on two computers.  Does that mean I can install the program twice, or can I still install on the same laptop after changing the operating system (I installed CS4 on both computers, my computer, laptop and desktop)?  I want to continue using CS4 Web Premium on my laptop but I'm worried I won't be able to install it because I installed CS4 on my laptop and desktop (two installed already).  I would like to know if I can install on the same laptop after upgrading to Windows 7.  Thanks in advance for the help.

  The question isn't installation... it's activation. Disable the software first. (Help > deactivate from any application).

  Back up all your data, preferences, etc. because, as you note, it will be a clean install of Windows. Know that it is only cool method to upgrade a Windows installation. NEVER don't upgrade a Windows in place (or, IMO, Mac OSX).

• Question about installing CS6 Student Edition

  I bought the student Adobe cs6 about one year version, unfortunately at the time I made this purchase my laptop died. I recently graduated from College, but I was wondering if there is a window of time that I need to install more before I are no longer eligible as a student / or if I won't be able to install and register. Currently, I have a work computer, but do not want to install the program until I get my own computer. In addition, the number of devices can I install student edition on? If I need to install it before my student status expires, I would install on my work computer and I hope to get my own personal ASAP device and install it on that as well if possible.   If you are a student, then you can install and use the software.

  For the installation on a computer work going, it is usually the company that employs you.  Most of the companies control what is and is not allowed to be installed on a computer they own.

  As explains the name of the screen Test, CS3 is almost 10 years old and unlikely to work on the new operating system: Photoshop system requirements. You can try to download from here products download Adobe Creative Suite 3, but this does not solve the underlying problem, which has to do with the settings of Microsoft. You may be able to get the installation works by following the troubleshooting steps in this document Error 1606 when installing Adobe Creative Suite 4, Adobe Acrobat 9, Adobe Acrobat 8, but, again, there is no guarantee.

  I downloaded Oracle enterprise Edition 11 g (11.2.0.1.0) of two 2 GB files about zip. But still I didn't install them.
  People say Oracle Enterprise Edition is expensive. But after connecting to Oracle, account I just downloaded the zip files freely.
  Will I install it or not?
  I have to pay for Oracle? or Oracle ask money later?
  (I am a student and already I am using Oracle 11 g Express Edition, which is free, so please don't tell me to use Express edition)
  
  My question is if I can use Enterprise Edition or not?
  Or is that I downloaded a beta version?

  It's pretty simple. To download, you have entered into a legally binding contract with Oracle and must follow the rules of the contract to which you have agreed. Probably you have accepted the contract in http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/licenses/standard-license-152015.html

  You gave permission to Oracle to make sure that you follow the rules of the contract. If you stay within the rules, you probably don't need to pay (extra) money.

  If you have downloaded the form OTN, and not from eDelivery.oracle.com, the license, you agree to use basically said ' you will not give someone else a copy of the program, and you're not going to use it in production. " You can use it to learn, to study, and to create a prototype. "There are other things, but that's the basic idea.

  That said, you can the agreement. You should take the time to read and understand. What we say on the internet is useless for you, if you breach the agreement itself and Oracle takes you to court for the money.

• Student edition upgrade installation

  I bought CS3 Master Collection in 2008 VCU - so it was a student edition. Now, I need to upgrade to CS6. I have 2 questions:

  1. can I switch to a commercial version of a student edition?

  1. last week my application of encryption Filevault on my Macbook has grown so great that I had to turn it off. This meant that I had to delete a lot of files including my CS3 to create the workspace.

  I don't know the technical aspects of the upgrades. Do I have to reinstall my CS3. If I can't find the disks can I get a downloadable version of my license key on file?

  Yes you can update as long as you do it before the end of the year. You only need your license number for CS3, it must not be installed.

  As long as you are eligible to buy the license you can use it for commercial work.

  And Yes, student versions carry right commercial upgrade.

• Problem view Lab mathscript rt suite student edition

  I bought the suite 2012 Student edition software recently, according to the descriptiton on NOR it should have mathscript on it, but I get error when I run mathscript below. Comments about how to solve the problem would be appreciated.

  I run window 7.

  Setup may be separated on these discs or on another drive anyway, your serial number needed to activate it and it still would be set up as its own separate module. Please download the module Mathscript RT the link in my first post. You can also download other modules of our Web site and should be able to enter your serial no for them to activate in the License Manager EITHER.

  It looks not to the module Mathscript RT is installed or installed in the wrong order.

• The jury of ELVIS will work with LabVIEW Student Edition 2010

  This question was asked in the forums of LabVIEW, but no solution has been found. I have a windows 7 x 64 machine with LabVIEW 2010 Student Edition. When I try to install ELVIS 3.0.5 traditional software I get the following (no error code) message: "this Setup program requires the LabVIEW 8.5 development system or later to be present on this computer. Development system LabVIEW Base in any version of LabVIEW is not supported. Please install LabVIEW and then rerun setup of NI ELVIS. »

  I also installed the DAQ software for PCI DAQ board. I do not have access to a 32 bit machine and do not know how to get my board work (no ELVIS II) ELVIS. I have provided a screen shot of the message during the installation of the software of ELVIS.

  Thank you very much for taking the time to provide additional information. After talking with several experts about your system, we concluded that this error is the result of an incompatibility between 3.0.5 Elvis and LabVIEW 2010 64-bit. Even the latest drivers of Elvis are not yet supported by 64-bit LabVIEW: see notes in support of the operating system on the Readme Elvismx 4.2.3

  To solve your problem, you will need to uninstall the 64-bit version of LabVIEW and install a 32-bit version. If you are a student, you should be able to get this version of your computer (it will work fine with your Windows 7 64-bit OS - it will install on 32-bit OS emulated inherent in your system). If you are not a student, please send me a personal message, and we will be working with an account representative to get you the necessary version.

  I apologize for the inconvenience, this made you and appreciate your patience. We have updated the Elvis 3.0.5 Readme to reflect this incompatibility (the change may not appear yet, because it takes time to propagate through our system), and I'm trying to create a Base of knowledge on the subject article to help future users who encounter this error.
