• Mail, calendar, people, and messaging app - lost calendar

  I've lost my windows calendar 8 as part of the mail, calendar, people, and messaging app trying to drag the shortcut on the desktop.  I would like this calendar re-installed with notifications appear on the desktop instead of the home screen if possible.  I made many attempts that did not work and the need to correct procedure please.

  You can re-install mail, calendar, people, and messaging App on Windows Store and check if it helps.

  Uninstall and then reinstall mail, calendar, people, and e-mail and see if it helps.
  a: right click on the application of messaging, e-mail and people respectively, and then click Uninstall .
  b: then click on the Windows key + Q to open the search box.
  c: then click on store and then type Mail, calendar, people and mail , press ENTER.
  d: click install.

  Important:-uninstall causes app "Mail, people and mail " loss of applications and data to the Apps.

  Note: The calendar is an application that only will match in the start screen and not on the desktop.

  I went to the store... and went to the search bar and type in the above and nothing.  I lost the application of e-mail and calendar, a few days ago and I really miss the calendar.  I have read all the FAQs Microsoft or such and can't find anything that helps.  The above does not work.  What can I do before reinstalling Windows 8?  OB Pat

  My desktop computer with Windows 8.1 HP says that it has been updated apps this morning for about 10 minutes. Never seen that before. The entire screen changed colors as I associate the colors of the subway.   I thought I had a fix. I get to the logon screen with my photo. Ther right there is an icon of power. If you hold SHIFT and restart it goes to troubleshooting. I've tried everything. Finally, I tried USING A HARD DISK and I stuck the USB Flash Recovery drive, I did.  When the computer reboots, it goes to logon. I connect (with the flash is connected) and YAHOOODY everything is back. My office job and complete. I thought a lot. I ran several spyware programs, did a restore and released the flash player.  Rebooted and the same problem I'm talking about in the above paragraph.

  Since it was not all the responses from 4 different forums I decided to bite the bullet and do the first factory restore on this PC for the new 2 years ago. Hated only ti, but no other options. All files have been / are saved on USB and drive Google and OneDrive 40gig. Just hated to lose all programs and configurations.

  I have a sign in application it's built in .net/Vs2010, when I run it on win 7 with firm... VSStudio app works very well that he steals the focus and works like a forground window... but as soon as I launch visual studio 2010, the leading feature no longer works thereafter. I tried even to change the registry setting to 0 for setforgroundlockedtimeout. but it works until the VS2010 is closed.

  As soon as you open VS2010... win32 api call SetForegroundWindow() fails to keep the foreground window. There after if you shut up VS2010 always not behave in the way that it supposed to be. Let this work once again, I have to restart or logout m/c then app started working as expected, but if you open studio... Update loses automatically from my application for somehwere else.

  Is plase advice the real culprit of VSStudio or something else?

  If you have disconnected the monitor failed, a click right on desktop and select Screen Resolution.

  In the dialog box, click the drop of multiple views . Select the option show desktop only on 1 .

  First, perform a backup of the information on the devices as explained here. Perform a repair of the system using bridge for MACor PC Companion . The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1 to 2 hours until the device has so at least 80% battery. Turn off your phone and unplug the PC (Hold to increase the volume and power for 10 seconds) start PC Companion and select the area of support then update my phone/Tablet and then blue repair my phone/Tablet and follow on screen instructions - when prompted, connect your phone turned off always hold volume or back button - this should begin the process of repair or reformatting. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or a 64-bit operating system and then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and has chosen Windows 7 or XP. I m at disposal for any question.

• I upgraded my iMac to el capitan and imovie lost. It does not try to reinstall it from the App store.

  iMovie is not part of an installation of El Capitan. So, if you did a clean install of El Capitan, it will not be installed.

  Restart with the hold Option key and see if the correct operating system is displayed.

  If this is the case, click on it and then select it in the pane of the system preferences Startup disk.

  If not and you have a backup, upgrade the computer to the most recent OS and restore files according to its needs.
