• Analog input problems using PXI-6232

  I tried to solve this problem for a while now without a bit of luck. Solution suggestions are welcome.

  I use a PXI-6232 with LabView 8.5.1 to accept signals analog several of my sensors. Based on the signals as a PWM signal is generated and the output using PXI-6713.

  Some of the analog input signals have spikes in them, which occur at all times during the tests. I watched the same signals on an oscilloscope - without crampons. I change my hardware configuration, and the spikes still occur in the same places. It seems that the program makes some resets resulting in measurement errors.

  I have attached the VI and a JPEG of measured inputs.

  I was first confused of your time scale but it seems that these spices occur every 20ms (not s) what to a line 50 Hz noise due to switching power converters (or a diode without compensation bridges )

  Another clue was the measure of the scope. While using the application scope, you opened a groundloop so the spikes because of the dI/DT through the groundloop are another way to get around.

  So I'm pretty sure this isn't data acquisition (in this case) this is your configuration.

  Provide a cleaning (low R AND L low) path of power (keep them close and twist slightly if possible), add a filter to down the dI/dt, identify the ground loops.  (Use your scope with a little as a sensor at the entrance to reel and catch magnetic fields can open eyes)

  THEN to clean the last ears (on the acquisition of data) to get the last ppm use selfs

• Latitude D531 monitor Audio input problem

  Just need help on audio problems...

  I have a Dell Latitude D531 and that my job requires me to hear audio from the microphone so I followed the instructions that spoke on the FAQ. I am currently running Windows XP and using a Sigmatel STAC 92xxHD Audio Chip. I tried to change settings in the registry as indicated by replacing the binary codes of the registry "EnableInputMonitor" and "EnableIntSpkMute" by "01" and "00" respectively.

  I restarted my computer and when I went to properties, it does not show the "Monitor input" option under "show the following volume controls". Can someone tell me if this is due to the fact that the laptop uses an AMD prcoessor processor or what I have wrong? It would be great if I can get the entries of people who suffer from this as well as the experts who were able to play with it. Appreciate the help.

  
  

• Epson Stylus 845Printer problem

  I use a newer iMac (retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014,4 GHz Intel Core i7).  I've just updated to OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6.

  I installed the latest OS X update a few days ago.  Now, I have a problem with my printer (Epson WorkForce 845) connected wireless.  The only way I can print is to put off the printer, restart and then immediately send the document to the printer.  After a few minutes the connection is lost.  I use the printer again.  It worked, but only for a few minutes.  All this is fine.  Everything worked fine until I installed the latest update.  I checked with Epson.  The last recommended drivers (11.4) are installed.  Any help would be appreciated.

  If you close the quatiers use the LAN port instead of a WI - FI connection with a network cable CAT 5 or CAT 6.

  If you are close to the computer, use the USB port (it is the best way to connect a printer)

  If the device works then the problem is with your wi - fi and you can reset the device.

  or check your manual for the owner on the reset of the printer.

  I'm learning about labview data acquisition. So, I made a base for digital vi, with a virtual digital input device. For some reason any I can not output anything other then zero, but when I run the daq assistant (when you install assistant daq) Boolean values between 0 and 1. But, in my VI I can't get any other input then set to zero.

  You should associate your stop button at the entrance to Stop on the DAQ Assistant.  You are openening and close the task each time when you do not do this.  According to me, which is also reset the activation/deactivation of the simulated device.

• Text input: problem jumping slides on the wrong attempt

  Hi all

  I developed an interactivity in Captivate 5, which includes filling in empty questions.

  In the CP file on slide #4 user options to select an option. Based on the selection, the user will be go to the respective slide and answer the question.

  If the user correctly answer the question then the slide will jump to the conclusion slide (slide #15). Similarly, after two incorrect attempts the slide should jump to #16.

  The question here is, after two attempts the slide is moving to the next slide rather than jump to slide 16.

  I'm looking at your file, and it seems to be linked to the fact that you have a box scored click on slide 15. If you change do not calculate in the total score, everything works fine. It is related to the scope of Quiz that is right for you with slide 15 slide 16. With the action of the failure of the ETB before these slides, you try to jump into the scope of quiz, and this seems to cause trouble because the Quiz preferences are set 'Reply all' (which is a very strict option).   You must run all your controls error before you insert the record in your database. This is a preview of the type of conditional structure you need:

  Note how the conditional statements are nested inside each other. The first checks if the form has been sent. If it isn't, nothing happens. Then, you create an empty array for errors and run your conditional statements that verify the length of user name, etc..

  If there are no errors, $errors will be empty. Empty array is equal to false, so if there are any errors! $errors will be set to true.

  Only if there is no error, check the access number. Finally, if the number of access exist, move forward with the INSERT query.

  If there are errors or $accessFound is 0, the INSERT query will not be executed, and you go back to the same page, where you can view the error messages.

• Problem of shift of Samsung series 7 pen

  I use cs6 on one of series 7 tablet from samsung with a pen and after a driver update and some problems of lag with the stylus input.

  Regarding the symptoms, I can use the stylus to draw without any problem, with the sensitivity to pressure etc, but when you select menu items, tools etc., ps crashes just for a long time. When I use the touch input on the same tools and menu items, there is however no lag.

  I am running the standard driver of the ISD and the pilot of 7.1.0 - 8 Wacom. I recently imstalled this driver, as I previously could not use sensitivity pen in ps, so don't want to uninstall it (and this is the wacom driver which is supposed to feature ps INCREASE with tablet PC).

• Stylus Pro/iOS 9.2/3rd party iPad bug

  It's my second iPad Pro since Dec. 23. I had my first replaced because he was a topic on the screen which seems not to respond with my jot adonit stylus pro. So when I first came to this replacement, after the service provider deemed first one defective, I tested it before going to the store. Everything was fine. The pen worked all over the screen. Then, I have upgraded to iOS 9.2. The bug is back and on the same sector than before! The area is near the smart connector. (see attached photo) It was very similar, if not exactly the same area where the iPad Pro I had replaced had stylus response problem. I really think that it was a bug in iOS, since before the upgrade to 9.2, this problem did not exist. Please fix this in the next update.

  

  I use a point w/pixel Adonit Jot touch with my iPad Pro and have not noticed this problem at all.

  I have a 128 GB Pro iPad.

  You use the Adonit Jot Pro with the disc on the end?

  Make sure that is not the drive or the pen end i.e. issues like screen technology is different in the iPad Pro, in particular for certain types of stylii?

  I have the latest version of the Wacom software.

  How can I activate "further" input method (write)?

  I also have this problem after the upgrade to Windows 10. inking Panel disappeared and there is no way to enter data in tablet mode. The pen works elsewhere, but the stylus input option is grayed out in the keyboard selector.

  I have a Sony vaio 14 a Flip, which has random touchscreen input, earlier today, I turned off my cell phone because I need to do my job, hoping that I could him backward and try to solve the problem of the touch screen. I disabled it through Device Manager > Interface devices > USB Input Device and it works beautifully.

  However, now, when I wanted to allow him to return, I couldn't find the same USB input device that I disabled previously, I have found no option of stylus input / when I tried the search button (before I disabled the touch screen, there are these options). Can someone help me with this? I tried to find a solution, but I found nothing... I just bought this laptop about 2 weeks ago and touchsreen comes out about 2 days ago and it is getting worse every day...

• Could not open the charms bar using the touchscreen

  I installed Win 64 8 months last on my laptop HP 2760p convertible.  Stylus input has always worked well, but touch has always been a little uneven and sometimes does not respond to the entry for a few seconds.  But the touch has really become problematic.  What's weird, is that he seems as follows: behavior weren't that occasionally and now almost always happens:

  Recently, I uninstalled a lot of pilots (including the removal of hidden devices / ghost) for hp quicklaunch/hotkeys, video, touchscreen, touchpad.  I basically let windows install the default drivers of the gournd upward (like touch was working well last month).  Still no go.

  If I rotate my screen in portrait mode, then the shot of charms bar actually seems to work (!) and the top of the screen (where the charms bar would live in landscape mode) will not receive touch input.  It seems therefore that the physical appearance of the screen.  However, he sometimes works in this area, so I know the screen is able to receive touch them there.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm going crazy...

  This problem appeared on my HP Sleekbook that I bought yesterday. Thought I was crazy, because the right side of the screen worked fine initially. As suggested by Robert, I have reset the calibration of the screen and that solved the problem.

  I noticed that neithyer or touchpal swype works on my Samsung Smart PC Pro. Forums of two producers referred to in this new block of version of windows 8 support for 3rd party input methods. Is it possible to enable user-level anyway? I'd be more than happy to use them.
  Windows 7 Acer Iconia W500 had swype id it's a real shame to see that missing tabs.

  @robert aldwinckle: thanks, it runs as an administrator actually resolved the problem for TouchPal. more interesting still it detects only entry of the finger, not of stylus input. Works like a charm now.  I also did a hard reset of my tablet that has removed a lot of Samsung bloatware and maybe that helped also.

  @basith m: thanks, that's a reason which has been given by the producers of Swype. I certainly hope that they can develop their software for win 8 in the future, so I appreciate advance this feedback. the greatest compatibility always brings security risks, but these products can dramatically improve productivity, it is certainly recommended.

  BTW, I like to win 8. You must learn it and customize it to your needs, but once you do, it's perfect!
