  If you use the version pre - SP3 of XP, you must install KB888111. It's the UAA bus driver. After you install this hotfix, install the audio driver and modem driver.

  Do you have yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager at the present time?
  For HDMI, I think that chipset, display and its driver must be installed. Maybe you can get one on the Intel page directly.

  Open the Device Manager
  Click on the tree "Universal Serial Bus".
  For each "USB root hub" do the following-
  Right-click on 'USB hub root'
  Select Properties

  Make sure that the box "Allow the computer to turn this device to save power" is NOT checked.

  Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user.
