Submit/clear buttons sometimes missing in Captivate v5 Quiz

• Small problem with Captivate 6 quiz...

  I wonder if someone could help me with this little problem with Captivate 6 quizes?

  I've set up a quiz and disable the playback bar to save screen space

  I turn off the button 'next' on the issues because it allows to the learner in order to bypass the unanswered questions (and does not trigger the incomplete caption)

  And so I rename the button submit to 'next' - and that's fine, but when the quiz is reviewed there is no 'next' button to navigate between issues

  I thought that I might be able to hide the real button following behind the submit button (labeled 'next'), but finds that it is not possible to change the stacking order of buttons issue

  So, how can I stop the learner without going through questions without answer AND allow navigation during the review of the quiz?

  Hide the next button (Skip) under the clear button.  When you add a quiz for the Clear key is usually on a higher default stacking order.  But if it isn't, just remove and replace the button 'Clear' and it will be over the next button.  Usually, removal and replacement of the buttons on the quiz questions are the only way to manipulate the stacking order.  It's a pain, but this is easily achievable.

  Unlike normal questionnaires 'submit' buttons, the Captivate 9 Drag & Drop 'submit' button does not appear able to show the hand cursor to the passage of the mouse.

  Importing a project of Captivate 8 to 9, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't work, so I can't find a way to make it work on naked new projects created with Captivate 9.

  The Drag & Drop option "Use hand cursor" is clearly displayed, although affecting only the sources and targets but not the button 'send '.

  Captivate 9 runs on Windows 7.

  I'm sorry, but the button submit in D & D seems to have the ability to display the hand cursor. It uses the same style buttons embedded on the Quiz slides, but the hand cursor doesn't do not part of the style. I've often done drag the button to send off the stage and just set hotkey (as input).  I also checked in Captivate 8 but he has never had the option to display a hand cursor to the button send D & d, so I'm surprised when you write "when you import a project of Captivate 8 to 9, it works sometimes"

  Just set up slide a quiz with all the buttons the way you want they look on other slides, and then select one of the buttons and go to properties > turn and look for the small drop-down list at the top right of the accordion.  Select apply to all objects of that Type.

  When you do this for each type of button on the slide of questionnaire, all similar buttons in all other slides in questionnaire within this project will jump at the same place.

  If you were able to successfully remove all buttons validate, how you intended to allow the user to have their rated quiz?

  This button MUST be present on the slide, in the order of the slides of quiz to work correctly.  Since you seem to have put it all the feature turned on, you can have just the button submit all showing them on the final blade quiz in the quiz so that the user has at least a way to trigger the evaluation.  But to hide all the other buttons submit all remove them you will need to change to transparent buttons, their text, only a very small button and place it somewhere on the slide where nobody is likely to click.

  I saw this post by John Minkjan, http://obiee101.blogspot.com/2008/08/obiee-making-clear-button.html on how to add a 'clear' button to your dashboard. I was hoping to go a step further and do so that every time a "Go" button is created, is a button 'clear '. But I'm having a little trouble.
  
  I found the tag used to create the text in the button 'Go', 'kmsgGFPGo '. From here, I searched for the files with that tag and found that this tag is used in the promptviewtemplates.xml. So I guess that's what the engine uses to create the guests. Did some research and found that the guests are created in an html table, so I thought I would add another column < td > < table > with my clear example of John button. Everything seemed to think it would work, but nothing has shown up on the Web page. I've tried a few things but nothing worked.
  
  It seemed that none of the changes I made the file has nothing. To test this, I added underscore before the name of the file and restarted the service. Of course, everything came back fine and all the guests work as expected. What it seems like it's used at all. But it was the only file I could find who used the tag "kmsgGFPGo".
  
  First, why didn't the guests missed when I renamed the promptviewtemplates.xml?

  Hey Joe,

  Don't know why it didn't crash, maybe it restores on the values set internally. Try a configuration with other languages. In any case maybe this post by Sunil (http://sranka.wordpress.com/2008/11/09/how-to-replace-multi-go-button-prompt-by-one/) can help you get started.

  Showing a Firefox button when the menu bar is not selected, it was a feature in the four Firefox via Firefox 28 versions. With 29 Firefox and later versions, there is no Firefox button - there is nothing displayed when the menu bar is hidden.

• My Start button is missing.

  The Start button is missing in my taskbar.  I am able to press the Windows button on my keyboard to make it appear a start menu, but only things in the Start Menu are three programs and work station.  Other items that can be in it are now gone.  The taskbar is there, but not there at the same time.  There the launch fast and other elements in the corner.  But I can not put the taskbar upwards or downwards or right click on it.  When I open customize the office and try to pass the taskbar and Start Menu from there, this window does not load.

  I tried to run the system restore, but it fails to restore from any restore point that I use.

  I decided to give up and reinstall Vista on my laptop, but I got my laptop preload in my degree and I am a graduate for a long time and my product ID does not work.  I decided to upgrade to Windows 7, but I could not find the download link for Windows 7 Enterprise (I currently run Vista Enterprise).

  I now return to the first step, to try to determine a) why my Start button disappeared and b) what can I do about it.
