  The connection is where your anti virus is in the way. In some cases completely divert the connection and suitor to Thunderbird that Anti virus IS the remote server in a man in the middle of the hack.

  However a month ago asking you why Firefox is excruciatingly slow. You seem to have abandoned this question. Was it because you were asked to do something for you diagnose the problem?

• Just said that my windows 7 in not much authentic after using it for two years. It came with the laptop then why I said this is not true.

• Windows 7 validation error saying Windows not genuine - and it really was for two years!

  I have an error that comes every hour or so, all of a sudden, that says that Windows 7 is not genuine and to 'click here' to resolve.  It looks quite realistic, however, the issue I have with it is that half of the message is in a weird language that I don't understand.  Part is in English, is in something that looks like Russian.  I do not DARE click the link because I am afraid that this is malware or a virus because of the foreign language and others who look a little off, although I scanned with both programs and come clean, including with Microsoft Essentials and Norton 360.

  I just tried to reinstall Windows 7 on my drive to upgrade two years (Vista upgrade), but it doesn't let me, saying that my version is newer than the disk.  I'm just not that computer to find out what to do next.  All my files are backed up safely with an off-site backup services so I don't lose anything I can do away from my computer, but how?  Or better yet, how can I know if it's true?

  I recently started getting some unwanted emails where the 'From' is always different, but the "Reply to" after the @ is almost always the same. When you use Message filters there is almost everything you can think of to filter except 'Reply to' email and using only "to" does not not on the emails I want in the garbage before I see them again. Is there a way to filter incoming emails 'Reply to '?

• Two years trying to get Toshiba laptop wireless connection works

  I tried for two years to try and get the connection Wireless on my Toshiba laptop to work without much success. For a short period I managed to connect the laptop to a desktop computer's ad-hoc wireless and share the internet connection in this way but then it stopped working.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 - 15L model no PSU45E-00J005EN. It is with the 12.1 "screen and running Windows XP Pro sp3.

  My wireless switch on the front of the laptop is turned on. It is also activated in the software Fn F5 wireless enabled, disabled bluetooth. I don't have Intel ProSet.

  Already when I was able to establish an ad hoc connection using microsofts software. I had to manually activate the Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) whenever even if, as he always began with disabilities or order even if I set it to start automatically. It is a monumental PITA.

  If everything is Ok and I mean if there is no hardware problem you n t need more than two minutes for the WLAN configuration.

  As a first step, you must be sure that the wireless network card is installed correctly (Device Manager).
  Wireless network card must also be enabled correctly (switch > check FN + F8 > check ConfigFree tool).
  When the wireless network card that it is correctly enabled scan (check the status of ConfigFree) the area with RADAR option in ConfigFree.

  (Wow, just left a long detailed post here on the forum.. came in half an hour... it's not here...?)

  laptop computer and printer are connected wifi

  has had to reboot the printer after a paper jam. and now, our answering machine is not going in the outgoing & incoming message recording mode - the fax comes suddenly

  We are unable to get the incoming messages

  tried all the preferences and choices of configuration settings just like I did when we first installed the printer (a month ago)

  At that time, we were able to use our machine years OK

  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

  I finally got it to work. Seems that I had to go through the checklist of preferences and select everything correctly. It's easy to miss some settings for some reason any.
